I liked how the hotel is situated amid the quiet greens. The decor blends in well with the surroundings. We ordered fruit detox juice, chicken roast, grilled fish with lemon butter sauce and chilli prawn, of which the prawns were the best. The fruit detox is just infused water, couldn't justify its pricing. Shall visit again. NB: no beef or pork served here

While the location of the resort is excellent, we found the service and food to be way below our expectation. The day we reached the resort, we ordered a simple margarita pizza and they almost took 40-45 mins to prepare that. To add to it, it just did not taste good. The resort has a tie up with some travel agent who is extremely expensive. You will get better travel deals if u contact the local travel agents. The place is not worth the hype.

Only good and helpful person was Mr. Krishna at the reception. Also Housekeeping is good... But security was very rude and with plethora of excuses and lies... It wasn't our choice to take rooms on the same building AND share the floor with CASINO - they treated some of the guests very BAD. Food taste was very Avg.... However overall property is good.

The real experience of great luxury. For experience of luxury you must stay once in this property. Located at a very good location as near to the city and other attractions. Food is amazing. They offer in room barbecue with a cook and can be served in the plunge pool inside the room. Staff is amazing and services are very fast. Spa is a must visit. I must say the property is a beautiful small city to live in for leisure in luxury.

We had an excellent stay at Mayfair Gangtok. It is a beautiful hotel with courteous staff and good food. I loved the landscaping and the openness of the property. It looked stunning in the rain and had a lot of natural beauty to explore. I really liked how benches have been placed all along the property for guests to enjoy nature. The hotel emanated calming vibes of the Buddhist culture and offered a wholesome and indulgent experience for us. The restaurant was very nice too. The pool area was superb, surrounded by nature. I had fun playing badminton and basketball in the open courts and table tennis with my son in the spacious recreation room. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful vacation.

The property is beautiful, but very poorly managed. We had booked a breakfast incl deal, on the final day during checkout they mentioned it’s not incl. the rooms very shabby, not cleaned and properly stacked with basic amenities. The reception staff is confused among themselves and one person told us breakfast is incl while the other said it’s not. Would give them a zero for service and basic etiquettes on how to behave with their customers

Really loved the stay there, specially my kids enjoyed everything there.

The service at here is amazingly impressive and Excellent. Staffs here are extremely helpful, caring and available on request. Apart, cleanliness, varities on food including its taste and qualities could never be under estimated. Furthermore, the environment here suits all age group and for people from any background as the services are tailored to individual needs. Moreover, I would appreciate the managers and the overall management of this hotel.

Very poor service at the restaurant. Starters were served cold to us, on telling the staff about this they gave excuses instead of resolving the issue. Main course took an entire hour to reach the table. The butter chicken we got was too oily with the top of the dish covered with floating oil, on telling the waiter he simply smiled and tried to joke. Very average quality of the service and food. Shall rate it 2/10, 2 being just for the ambience outside.

This is an exclusive super luxury hotel with a casino in its premises. Elderly folks who can't climb need to avail buggy services to their rooms. Pros: 1. Beautiful landscaping. Lots of places to take good pics and videos 2. Polite reception and restaurant staff 3. Lovely ambience 4. Jungle cafe is a lovely place to chill and have a drink 5. Good gym and instructor Cons: 1. Deluxe room is really small and not worth what you pay for. Room balcony is nice though. 2. Horrible housekeeping service. You have to call 2 to 3 times so that they turn up. Sometimes they don't even come. 3.Buffet spread is not as good as you'd expect for what you pay for. No South Indian options. 4. Though they say 20% off on spa services, it's not offered for all services. Spa lift was not functional and the reception didn't even know about it

The most happening hotel of the entire Sikkim. You have everything inside the campus a swimming pool,a kids playing area , a pool area, a library ,a bar ,a restaurant, a basketball playing area. Gym ,a temple and a casino. You don't need to go outside once you come inside the campus. All services are free except the casino . Casinos have an entry fee of Rs 3000 per person which includes refreshment and dinner. In the evening please look like a fairy tale. Rooms are big and charges are reasonable. Food is good but prices are on the higher side. The staff are very helpful. The place has a decent parking facility . They also have a travel help desk inside campus. The property is around 10 km from the main market area

I would just describe they got all luxurious feels you need, spending on them was worth. We stayed here for 2 days in executive Rooms. Wallah rooms space is mind blowing, interior and ambiance is love. Whole peace full architectural theme of resort is amazingly maintained 🙏🏻😍 Food is just where you should go for

We visited the Casino and not for stay. So can't comment on the rooms. The property is beautiful in every way. Extremely picturesque. The Casino is a separate owner though located in the same premises. When we went in Dec 22 The Barman Mr Biru Tamang is a special mention as he was amazing with his cocktails and friendly vibes in a Casino :) Cover charges are the usual for any other Casino on Goa

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the MAYFAIR Spa Resort & Casino in Gangtok. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. We booked a deluxe room with a balcony, but unfortunately, our room faced the basketball court, which meant we didn't have a good view. This was the only downside of our stay. However The room itself was spacious and comfortable, providing a pleasant stay. The bathroom was also well-maintained and of high quality. Despite this minor inconvenience, the hotel provided superb service and hospitality throughout our stay. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that all our needs were met promptly. The room service was also good. The hotel truly lives up to its five-star rating. One of the highlights of our stay was the food. The quality was top-notch, and there was ample variety available for both vegetarian and non-vegetarian preferences. We thoroughly enjoyed every meal we had at the hotel. What impressed me the most was the hotel's attention to detail when it came to accommodating families. As I was staying with an infant, the hotel provided complimentary customized baby meals, which was a thoughtful gesture. They also had sterilization facilities available on the property, which added to the convenience. The only drawback I encountered was the location of the basketball court. The noise from people playing could be heard slightly in the room, even with the balcony closed. However, this was a minor issue that didn't significantly affect our overall experience. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to try the casino, so I cannot comment on that aspect of the property. In conclusion, the MAYFAIR Spa Resort & Casino in Gangtok is a truly five-star hotel with exceptional service, hospitality, and room service. Excellent rooms, excellent services. They helped us out throughout the stay especially since we had little kids. They helped us with specific diet requirements for kids as well as adults. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Even after check out, we realised that we had forgotten our airpods at the hotel. The staff ensured that the airpods reached us on time. Highly recommended for families travelling together!

Awesome property. Stayed for 3 nights with family in Executive room. Rooms are spacious with beautiful interiors. Good food with wide spread at Orchids. SPA & hospitality is amazing. Special mention 👏for Mrs.Binita. Good child’s play area and library. Far away from city is the only drawback.

Worst worst worst place. Casino is pathetic. They give you falce packages just to fill in the crowd. No proper communication. Food of casino is below par average worst than a road side restaurant. Choose for other casinos in Gangtok but not this one. Won’t recommend it again. Very very very disappointed

Just one thing-The guy at the reception ( on night duty) was very hospitable. He arranged a mini surprise for our fam celebration at a very short notice.(I must say that the night staff were better than day ones).

It is shocking how people from your operations team can talk to a guest Mr mahapatra from the mayfair gangtok branch because of wrong information provided to us online we made the 31st decembers room bookings with map plans in the month of august NO MENTION OF ANY EXTRA CHARGES and suddenly comes up with 8000/- rs per person either this or no food in the entire resort.....after making all the reservations and flight bookings 21000/- just for one night dinner comes up with no fault of ours after asking for much solutions he gives us a resolution to order ALA CARTE sitting in our room on the new years evening travelling down all the way from calcutta to mayfair resort to celebrate new years without any mention this is what we get on top of this the way he spoke to me today on the most disgusting manner and literally threateme to deny our bookings online i have his call recording i will file a case on the resorts and speciallt this gentleman this is completely unaccepted For misguiding us

Just checked the casino only. It was little too quiet. Due to recent flood it seemed to have suffered. But staff were generally nice.

Read ths reviews and decided to visit this hotel. Due to some vip movement and event we had to WALK to the main gate from road. There was no staff same guy was manager chef delivery man. The so called VIPs used all the transport from buggy to rooms and didn't care wether you were standing with two kids. All play areas pool facilities were blocked. Room service took 2 hours for 2 dishes. Buggys had to be used as wr were jn a suite that had uphill walking. Placed a tea order at jungle cafe and after 40 mins the manager said sorry pleade go down and the restaurant was closed. Our rooms were so badly cleaned. Outside were never broomed. Thered hardly anything near the hotel. The suite that i was i had a Celeing issue or a hole in the celeing from where insects dropped in all night. After being in Delhi this place looks like a 2 star cottage. Waste of time and money. Spa was also confused with my booking. With kids it was a freaking nightmare.

Don’t take room near Casino if u want a good sleep, also view from rooms are not so great while food service ambience is all excellent

This is one of the best hotels in Gangtok, undoubtedly. Very rich and premium interior. Food preparation is also very good. Staff is friendly and very quick in service. You will have a wow feeling here. Entry is superb. Go and visit there without any second thought.

Amazing experience at the Mayfair Resort in Gangtok. Serene views and picturesque surroundings. Outstanding rooms, facilities were excellent with spa, library and a games room to name a few. Breakfast was exquisite - buffet in the morning with fresh fruit, cereals, live dosa counter, teas, cakes and pastries. Best feature of this place was most definitely the service; the staff were very friendly and always smiling. Renuka from the restaurant was especially accommodating and welcoming.

Beautiful property in Gangtok. No words for the ambience and decor. Food is sumptuous, though not much variety is offered. Meeting hall "Teasta" is good enough for official events. Rooms are pretty but some of them are suffocating and moisture can be felt.

Went to Mayfair Casino. The experience was nice. We took couple entry of 4000/- and got coins for 1000/ to play. We earned 2400 out of it. Two snacks and 4 drinks were complimentary on the tickets and dinner was also free. Had a great time watching live dance performances. If you visit gangtok, this is the must place to visit.

Outstanding environment,rooms are too good,I am in suite. Breakfast is too good and plentiful. But the service is a little bit down,as they don't provide fast and quick service. Overall it is an overwhelming trip for me.

The staff is friendly, but the rooms are not cleaned properly. If you look under the cots and the furniture, you will see lots of dust. However, the restaurant was good, the breakfast buffet was really great and the staff are very , very friendly. If they could just keep the rooms dust free, it would be great!

I booked two room one and half month before time, they gave two underground rooms in the midst of bamboo trees, I fell very much uncomfortable with these rooms, asked to change the rooms but they informed all rooms full. Service is very poor from check in, restaurants and check out. Seems like some novices are running the hotel.Food is not upto the standard, not good actually. Only good thing is that hotel is beautiful, also facilities like kids playroom, gym, indoor & outdoor playroom, swimming pool are very nice.

The room we stayed in was excellent. Spacious, well maintained and hygienic. The spa was beyond amazing - extremely professional service and followed by steam, sauna and bath. The only disappointment was the casino - limited drinks and snacks, few choices of games as compared to Deltin and the minimum limit of bets are too high. If you're staying for the resort, it's great. However, there are better options for casinos including Deltin in Denzong or Golden in Ramada.

Beyond my budget Rooms are not so spacious but well decorated Lush green all around Food are superb Menu cover wide range of cuisine

Real luxury, but they compromise on customer service!! Right from the time we arrived with our luggage, we had to unload it ourselves and it was just kept outside while we were checking in. The rooms are great, the view from the room not so much as there's lots of construction going on. There were more than a few times where we all felt that the service was not at all upto the mark. Looks like the staff definitely need training on communication and the smallest requests are met with a straight no!! Definitely not value for money considering the amount spent on a room here! I'd say, if you have a chance go to Ramada, it's very close to the city, top notch customer service and view to die for!!

Stayed in two different 5 star hotels in Gangtok within a week and this is the best 5 star hotel in Gangtok based on my limited experience. Our suite was well-equipped, and the entire environment on the resort was pleasant and positive. The food was also good.

If you go to this place for the Casino then you might be disappointed... Great food..excellent property and upkeep..Friendly staff, good rooms.. location a tad far from both the town centre and places to visit.. Taxis can demand more... overall an excellent place for staying with friends and Family.. Pool was a bit small, Basketball court was freshly painted so could not be used... The travel distances between room and lobby could be stiff for old and arthritis effected...

I stayed here for 3 nights and the stay was the best ever . Beautiful resorts and experience was undoubtedly one of the best. Highly recommended for all to stay and enjoy the place. Only one flaw was the food. Less of local cuisine.

Before Mayfair was the best of all..but as time passed by....the service has gone poor..My guest was not at all happy nor satisfied ....Its better to book a home stay, at they provide a good quality of service. The Luxury vehicle that had been provided was very dirty and unfit ... Feel insecure regarding the safety... My guest had complained ..that they charge a lot..double the rate ...instead..its better to book the Luxury vehicle from other travel agent..
