👍 Loved the concept of employing only handicapped people. Very friendly place with a Parisian style cafe atmosphere. The 1st floor is cosy and charming: perfect for lunch with friends or alone. The quiche was very good but it could have been slightly larger. The matcha cookie had this homemade taste.... Loved the concept of employing only handicapped people. Very friendly place with a Parisian style cafe atmosphere. The 1st floor is cosy and charming: perfect for lunch with friends or alone. The quiche was very good but it could have been slightly larger. The matcha cookie had this homemade taste. And the coffee is specially sourced and very good.

The world needs places like this, like plants need the rain to grow. Why give other coffee shops your money when you can have one here and play a small part to help train young disabled people to get into the workplace. An inspiring initiative with great coffee! We love this place. A cheery and clearly a loving place with lovely fresh food. Super clean and wheelchair accessible. All profits go to growing the initiative, so I understand. There are quite a few of these in Paris and around France, so go and help these amazing places. I also bought a lovely little backpack here, some socks and coffee as souvenirs and gifts. Really good quality merch, well priced and thoughtful designs by good designers in collaboration with joyeux. MOI JE SUIS JOYEAUX!

It was really good take a break in here after a busy day. The staff is really friendly; coffee and cookies & sandwiches were delicious. Also, they have a cute custom that when you give an order they give a piece of a toy block (the name comes from there obviously) and when they bring the order they make it whole! I really found that sweet :)

Amazing. It reminds a cafe in Hobart, Tasmania called Shakespeare where they used to give chance too to disabled people. Thank you for doing it in Paris and I hope we will see more places inclusive like this. Plus products are good and yes served with joy and love. All my best for your café.

Don’t be fooled by the rating. We ordered the same coffee everywhere in France, speaking in French, and this was the only place that failed to understand the order. Despite being the only people in store there seemed to be so much disorganisation and chaos. So many other friendly and better quality options near by

Extremely racist, we were turned away from the store because we either couldn’t speak French or we were asian! Not sure how this place even deserves 1 star? Response: I respect your concept but I don’t recall that having a disability justifies discrimination (quite ironic isn’t it?), we were confronted harshly before we spoke a word to your workers.Just hope this gets addressed so others won’t have to experience the same thing.

Really nice bar, to study or take a coffee with friends. The place is really well designed and the dishes (especially the cakes) are delicious. I also enjoyed the initiative of employing staff with cognitive disabilities. Definitely recommended

I love this cafe! I appreciate the staff’s patience and kindness, it was a lovely environment to be in. The mission to hire professionals with disabilities was not something I knew about beforehand, but walking in and noticing adults like my brother-in-law was a nice surprise! And the quiche was good :)

I think this place is amazing! Walked almost 15 miles today, and my dogs were barking. Nothing better than a lovely French coffee, I thought to myself. Started looking for shops all the back from the Tower, but for some reason this one caught my eye. I am SO happy I held out! What a great vibe and a wonderful concept. They staff with challenged folks! I think this is the coolest thing ever. Especially, as circumstances bring me to Paris alone, right before the Holidays, I needed this bit of good cheer to put me right. Right on, Joyeux Opera. Right friggin' ON!

Lovely little place with a good meal deal, all hand made. The owner employs two people with learning disabilities and they were absolutely great, well done everyone!

Should be better if the serving procedure could be modified. It's not bad but had room for improvement.

It is a delight to receive such friendly service and my latte was perfect, strong but not at all bitter and the milk not scalded but perfectly frothed and this has essentially ruined me for putting up with bad coffee for the foreseeable future. Can’t wait to return. Thank you!

A bit disappointed that my 4€ filtered coffee was only half a very small cup. It was a mistake to order 2 of the same thing. The cake was delicious though.

Nice place but a bit small and expensive. The coffee was too hot and lack of taste, but was replaced with a much better one later.

Love it. The staff are great and the Matcha cookies delicious. The pastry chef came out to talk to us afterwards. Great.
