Oh you have got to try this location and restaurant. Weren't sure where to have dinner and thought Why Not! Pulling up we found a full and busy parking lot (that's a good sign) went inside and found a lively busy place with a 20+ minute wait on a Wednesday evening in September... that tells you something...a non football evening with no major league games and still busy... great sign. Decided to sit outside and the head waitress advised us rain might be coming but decided to chance it...No 🌧️. Ok now the food and service... freaking outstanding and great! Ordered Fried Mushrooms OMG were they good! 5 ⭐ Jalapeno poppers another 5 ⭐. Buffalo Nacho were ok so for us only 3 ⭐. I ordered the Ruben with coleslaw side phenomenal and a must future order. Bill did the French Dip with Sweet potato fries another great selection BUT the dipping Ajus Gravy was just Brown water. Guys you MUST improve that... taste before serving PLEASE! Added salt and pepper to it but only slightly improved it. Due to that only 4 ⭐ Wing's were another moist and positive meal 5 ⭐. Another guest had the Philly Cheesesteak which was another big and fantastic sandwich with Tater Tots. Service was outstanding with Kambra and a new employee who were both a joy to have wait on us. We give the entire wait staff a Big 5 ⭐. Parking is not an issue as pulling into the rear of the building gives you plenty of parking space. Don't forget HAPPY HOUR it's a winner. PS they have Manhattan Clam chowder.. Forgot to order it...darn... will order the next time we enjoy Dagwoods in Surfside SC.

First time eating at this restaurant. Atmosphere, service and food was great on the night we visited. Good selection of meals, but mostly sandwich related. Prices were reasonable and proportions worth the money on what we ordered. Only complaint is fries and onion rings were upcharged instead of coming with meal. What came with meal didn't compliment it (coleslaw, chips, etc). I would eat here again and would recommend.

After eating so much seafood and overspending on restaurants in the area, Dagwoods was a welcome oasis. They have an awesome selection of burgers and sandwiches with a variety of beers or cocktails to choose from. The value is incredible and everything was reasonably priced. The burger I had was super tasty and my family loved the Philly steak sandwiches they ordered. Staff was superb and made our time here very enjoyable.

Went for the game and stayed for the happy hour. Great spot to hangout and watch sports. Also family friendly. Lots of parking and decent deals. Nachos were very good. My son played on the golf game while I was watching the game. It was very busy there and the service ran very smooth. I really enjoyed the chili as well. Definitely will be returning. It is very close to all the hotels on the beach.

Fantastic! We went on a Wednesday evening in August with 4 adults and a toddler. We had about a 40 minute wait and were able to get a drink at the bar while we waited. Our waitress was our favorite from the trip. She was so pleasant, funny and kind. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and was able to provide recommendations. The food was amazing - mahi mahi sandwich, fish and chips, Reuben and shrimp cheese steak, soft pretzel appetizer and chocolate chip cookie dessert!

This was a great lunch experience! I got the Brooks brother, it was fabulous! I got it with a side of au jus, and I think it really added. I only could half of it, they are very large sandwiches. The apps were a little small.

Very good neighborhood sports bar and grill. Friendly, professional and clean. Decent prices. Plenty of tv's to watch favorite sport. Bar tender knows how to pour a good drink. Food really good.

Our server was very friendly and efficient. We have never tried this restaurant but will definitely go back. You got alot food for your money.

Great atmosphere and food! TONS of TVs if you're into sports. Full service bar, but still family friendly. Food has always been superb, and service is prompt. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The staff is friendly, and the restaurant and restrooms were clean. The soft pretzels 🥨 and jumbo wings are my personal favorite, but they have an extensive menu with a wide variety!

I had the pastrami sub.. it was ok but definitely not what I expected. Had more pickles than meat on my sub roll. Our waitress was friendly, my drink was delicious, and the sweet potato fries were good! The cost is also decent so you do get your money's worth.

We visited this place twice on our vacation. We went back because of our superb experience with Megan K., our server. She was no-nonsense but pleasant, attentive but not overbearing, and had good recommendations for the food selection. Everything that we tried was amazingly delicious, filling, and the sub rolls were made fresh every day. It is a sports bar, and that's not really our jam so took a star off for atmosphere, but if you're into golf (summer) you will probably love it. May have felt differently if we had gone during football season.

Dagwood burger is a great burger and at 3/4 lbs is huge. We also had an Italian sandwich and a chicken salad cold plate that consisted of chicken salad, potatoe salad and cole slaw.
