While I never ever take on to social media to give a bad review. I need to say in all the years I have shopped in my local Dollar tree in ElmontI have never come across a disrespectful and rude employee. However, today I saw someone standing in a register his back not facing me. I said excuse me are you open. Someone behind me asked the same question. Keep in mind that he is not facing the line and sometimes the light doesn't turn on and we can't see what he is doing from our point of view. Someone about to get on the line called him and ask excuse are you open? He gave me the most dirty look and said nothing but looked up at the number. (Not a single word) Not even Sorry no I'm not open, not a word. His rudeness was apparent that 3 customers were like wow he so rude. Upon leaving I had to say to him. I have say that your reaction to a simple question was very rude and not necessary. He replied back If I was opened I would have called you. again in a very rude way. I said that is obvious, however, because your back was turned and I couldn't see what you was doing I politely asked. You looking at the light and not saying anything was very rude, especially if someone is asking respectfully and that is not appropriate customer service. I then realized that he was the manager. He goes on to say It am not going to argue with you and said bye have a good day. I said WoW I cannot believe you are the manager because if your respond to customer this way, even when they ask you a simple question or express that your lack of response and action was rude, you proceed to argue and be dismissive shows the type of character you have and shouldn't be in customer service. I said I will call corporate. He said go right ahead my name is Paul. I will say Paul is rude, disrespectful, inconsiderate, and has not type of good customer services skills. It is a shame he is a manager. I said he should learn skills from the lady that works there who is always polite.

It's good, but prices are $1.25 so it's not dollar tree any more, like dollar n quarter, still the items are of good quality, especially crafts section.

Dollar Trees return policy is that they will exchange any item with the original receipt. I came to this store with an item I wanted to exchange one day after buying it. They declined. I had to go to a different Dollar Tree to exchange the item.

Do not go to this store! I was there the other day and had a question for the manager. The very nice young man, only nice person there, working at the register went and found her for me. As soon as she came over the first thing she said was " I'm not in any mood today to argue with no customers". I hadn't even said anything yet. So she answered my questions very rudely, disrespectful and abrupt which was uncalled for. I then asked the nice young man to get me her manager. When he came over I explained what had happened while at the same time she was disrespecting another woman on line loudly to which her manager did nothing about it. When I was done talking to him, another one of his staff began speaking to me disrespectfully while he was supposed to be assisting customers at the register. They all found it to be very amusing! Not only is it a filthy store , it is always in complete disarray and to have rude people work there is not worth my time to ever go there again. I've already submitted this to the corporate office, they need to know!!

We'll stocked. Need more cashier's but in the current economy, every retailer does.

This place is ridiculous. One register is open and the line is always long . No express cashier for single items . So some people have a cart full of items and most times I have just 2or 3 . So the waiting on line is very time consuming.

Shelves are very messy and mixed up. Not a bad store but there are better Dollar Tree Stores

No problem here. Been going here for years. It's just a regular store. Might have a line at times but is definitely someplace I would recommend. For some cheap stuff.

This store is consistently unprofessional, poorly stocked, and staffed with unenthusiastic or helpful employees. The line consistently wastes the time of hundreds of customers because there is often only one cashier. I come here because I live nearby. I should be able to expect quality service near my home, without having to travel outside of my neighborhood. The store is always untidy and unorganized. No one in this establishment seems to care. Therefore, I do not care to spend my money here. Farewell Elmont Dollar Tree.

This store didn't have a lot on its shelves. Customers are trying to shop, and workers are trying to unload their dolly. There has to be a better way than this. 😒 Nothing has really changed. I just left and went to another store.

Rude attitudes from every employee as always, only 2 registers opened as always and always a super long line. Disgusting store and atmosphere will be my last time going back. Over it!

It is a very good store but sometimes what you need is out of stock and they added ¢.25

This place is great for seasonal decorations just is a little messy and the stuff is always behind with the display at the shelf, manager should show herself little patients with their employees I saw/heard her yelling at the other employees.

This site is large with aisle and aisle of the low price items we look to Dollar tree for. A few new items but mostly the regulars. Parking out front, be prepared for long lines inside as folk pile the good into their carts in a store where there are limited cashiers.

$1.25 tree store looks like it can use more employees. Shelves were kinda empty. Otherwise nice place to pick up quick items.

Good place to get many items for discounted compared to other stores i.e. nuts, cookies, baggies, cooking sprays, pain aids, etc...

You always find what you are looking for and much more. Went for mother's day 2 for $1 cards, decorations and cleaning supplies. Shelves were sparse in some areas but always satisfied when I shop at this store.

Great prices. They need multiple check out lines, instead of 1 line wrapped around the store; makes you want to drop what you have and leave.

The line for check out was long but then they opened up 2 more cashiers and then it went quick

Okay, one. The place is disgusting, two they do have almost anything I do need in there half of the time. A lot of the things are either open or have been messed with, they usually only have 1 cashier. The lines are way to long, and I once saw a lid take a item with him in his pocket but didn't wanna say anything. And legit the store didn't care because he took it out of the damn packaging. But, it is very reliable for black outs and drinks.
