Rates are high for this course, and the "kids can't golf before 2pm” is a joke. You'll allow 80 year olds who can barely walk or swing golf before then, but not allow "kids" that are better than most hacking adults. To boot, the course was desolate which made that absurd rule even funnier. Here's a way to insert common sense which many seem to lack, if there is not a sole at the clubhouse or on the first hole, maybe allow "kids" to go and golf - it would also make business sense.

Some of these one star comments are extremely biased. "the people that play arent the nicest" nah man, that is just your bad luck that you ran into a few mean golfers when you went. Most golfers at all courses are nice. So that comment is invalid. Another comment was about the price. The price is the same at all public golf courses in nassau. Also, it is cheaper if you have a leisure pass; it is not $80 with a leisure pass, its around $60 i think. The course is pretty simple and a lot of the holes are short but it is a nice course for just wanting to have a little fun and practice. Maybe not 5 star worthy, but definitely not 1 star worthy. People have bad experiences there and it automatically makes them think everyone else will have a bad experience there. Get real, people.

This is very poorly maintained golf course.I would discourage people from going there as it is a frustrating experience.I had been to the course in past and was disappointed at that time and went again tomorrow hoping to see some improvement but none was there. They should give some services for charging money!

Very nice nine hole, good for iron play for experienced golf. Good play to take people that are just learning. People on the course are very patient.

Great Short Course. Staff there is AMAZING!! Always nice. A quick 9 hole is always great if your time is limited. Can’t wait to go back to play golf!!

Nicely maintained 9-hole course. The website says you can play without a leisure pass for $28. However, the attendant told me I would need one but that they would "extend a one-time courtesy." For a public course, it beats Cantiague by far.

Overpriced (yes, even for a public course) for a poorly maintained, mostly Par 3 9 hole. You can play Bethpage for a lower price per hole. No tee boxes, hard to follow course design, trees in the middle of a narrow fairway, etc…save your money for another course.

This is honestly the worst Golf Course in all Nassau County. overpriced, terrible conditions and bad customer experience. $80 for two people and a cart is ridiculous, based on the quality of the course and its 100yd holes. Cart paths are a hazard. Save your money or invest it right somewhere else.

Great park. We always enjoy coming here with our kids. A lot of room to play, run, place sports, have a picnic, or just relax. There are bathrooms, drink sale stands, basketball courts, tennis courts, bike runs, and children's playgrounds. There's also a cool ice rink and public pools. I feel that the park should be restricted to non-residents to protect it from weird people entering the place where children play. Hence I'm taking off 1 star. Hopefully the town will take notice.

It's a ripoff; you need a leisure pass that costs $32.00 per adult. Then you still have to pay to use the pool. As a Nassau County resident; I'm paying enough in taxes!! The leisure pass should all you need to use the pool.
