Me and my family had a great time here. They don’t serve food here and you have to place the order upfront and then they give it to you in to go containers but you’re more than welcome to dine in. The food was fantastic, as great as afghan food can be. This is my first time at this location and anytime I am back in town I will definitely be back here. Appreciate the great food and hospitality.

This is our local go to place for Afghan food. I love the lamb shank from here! Their kababs are also good. Their beef fritters are really good too. We tried their vegetable fritters, which I wasn't a fan of. Last time I wanted to try the green rice but they didn't have it. The babaganush is nice and smokey. It goes nicely with the pita.

Ordered takeout from this spot. Once you walk in you can see the people cooking your food. I saw the skewers on the grill being made for the customers. So this location is in the part of Westbury where in the most part you have to park on the street which may have parking meter or there is a parking lot behind which depending the time you might have to pay. Now let's get into the food. I ended up ordering 4 Veggie Sambosas & Chicken Kabab with Brown Rice. The Veggies Sambosas were fluffy and were complimented well with the Chatni it comes with. Now the Chatni, although refreshing, does pack a kick. The Chicken Kebab was juicy and tender and I could tell they had just made it. The color might seem intimidating and make you think it's over seasoned but in reality it has just the right amount. Now the rice is not your ordinary plain rice. This rice carries itself. It has a mix of spices in which I cannot tell you what they are because my pallet is not that talented. The entree comes with onions as well that don't carry that strong onion flavor taste that lingers in your mouth afterwards. It also comes with pita bread and this white sauce. And let me tell you this small addition just elevates the entree. Since the rice is heavily seasoned the sauce helps tame it. What I liked doing was putting rice, chicken, onions and the sauces on the pita, rolling it up and eating it. As far as the price goes, I would say it does rank in the pricier side. But we are getting quality food and good portion.

Personally I am a big fan of Middle Eastern kebob like Afghan food, Restaurant was quit cozy and friendly environment, self service after order food. This place mainly offer take out. But you can eat inside. We ordered lamb sank, kebob plater with kabuli rice. It was so good. Specially lamb sank was so juicy because of its gravy. Overall I like their food. Must try lamb sank with Kabuli rice

This has become a go to spot for my family. Food is always fresh and flavorful. Highly recommend. I don’t love fish but I really enjoyed their salmon kebobs. I love the chicken and beef kebabs. Rice is always flavorful, the white sauce and onions are the perfect accompaniments. Service is unmatched.

Simply wow ! After reading postive reviews online. I called and placed a take out order. The guy over the phone was very nice. He took my order and told me that it will be ready in 20 minutes. This restaurant located on Post Ave, and had no difficulty in finding the parking. I went in and was greeted by Mr Omar, I told him and he gave my take out.Mr Omar is very nice and humble personality, he gave me complementary sweet dish' Firni ". Food was very delicious, I ordered chicken breast kabab, chicken jhooja kabab and chicken kofta kabab. All comes with the salad, brown rice and pita bread. All the dishes was well balanced spices and mouthwatering. Definitely recommend this restaurant, will go back soon

It was our first experience trying Afghan cuisine, and after a quick online search, we decided to give this spot a try - and it certainly lived up to its glowing reviews. The appetizer combination platter was outstanding, featuring Sambosas, Kashk Badenjan, and Baba Ghanoush, all served with a side of bread. The entrees we chose, Combo 1 with Jojeh Kabab and Kobideh, were both well worth the order. As if that weren't enough, the restaurant offered us a complimentary dessert, the delicious Firnee, which I couldn't resist, being a pudding lover. To top it all off, the owner was a welcoming and thoughtful host, even thanking me in my native language when he discovered I was from Portugal. If I had to suggest anything, it would be for the restaurant to focus more on dine-in options. Although they focus more on takeout, their pleasant interior space could be utilized more often!

After driving by this place many times decided to give it a try with my fiancée. As soon as we walked in everyone was so welcoming and friendly. We ordered the chicken kebab and kofta with a side of rice, French fries, and hummus. Food came out quick and all very delicious and flavorful. Great portion size as well. Will definitely be going back!!

Update 05/17 just ate here again today, took my whole family, 16 of us, and the food and service were top notch. Kabir and Ata were great as always! Just ate here tonight which I tend to do every two weeks or so because the food is unreal. Super casual and friendly vibe with some of the best afghani food I’ve ever had. Wife and I can’t get enough. Kabir and Ata are amazing, great service always! Thank you guys!

My family and I stopped here for lunch after a trip to a farm in Long Island. We were all really hungry & we’ve had pretty good experiences at the flushing location of Kabul Kabab before. This location definitely blew our expectations out of the water. We were so so pleasantly surprised! In addition to the combo, we also had their beef sambusa. At the flushing location, the meat sometimes comes out a bit dry but everything here was super delicious, juicy, and fresh. We especially liked the beef chunks & the chicken on the bone. If you’re looking for a tasty appetizer, please get their beef sambusa & eat it with their handmade sauces - just perfect! We can’t wait to come back!!

The best - super tasty, superb meal! Great service, lots of parking nearby. Very clean with large windows to let in natural light. The entrees are juicy and delicious - perfectly seasoned, moist and tender. The homemade hummus is great with their hot, steaming pita bread.

Probably my favorite Afghan cuisine restaurant in New York. Ive tried others, nothing matches their food. From the Barj, thats I absolutely love to the desserts. This place is my goto, when I want to have a outing with friends or family. And the atmosphere in the restaurant is great. The owner and the staff is extremely respectful. Highly recommended

I love this restaurant, nothing fancy, just a regular restaurant with great Afghani food. The place is simple and and the owner is one of the nicest, he is always there to make sure everything is living up to the expectations of the customers. The food is always freshly cooked and tastes really good. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking to try some authentic Afghani cuisine.

This is my favorite Afghan restaurant in Long Island 👍🏼 I love their grill chicken on brown rice with the house made green sauce, all their meat are freshly cooked to perfection and the grill tomatoes are so yummy 😋 when you dine in, this is a cozy place you will see lot of family here, the price is also great too, and the service is amazing every time we go 🙌🏼

A little confusing if it's you're first time at the door, but once you get clarity on whether you should seat yourself or wait to be seated you're on your way to some delicious food. The jojeh kabab was nicely seasoned (bone-in) and came with a generous portion of brown rice seasoned with cumin and other spices. The vegetarian plate was another generously portioned item, with a crispy fresh falafel, pita, and eggplant kashk. Don't forget to dip everything in the green chutney on the table, it's tangy with some nice heat. Service was pretty good despite just the one server/cleaner/cashier.

This restaurant is as good as their other locations. They started me off with complimentary baba ganosh with pita. Then for an appetizer I had the samosas. I had the chicken shish kebab. It was seasoned well and very tasty. Of course like it's other locations it's BYOB.

If you are looking for a good Middle Eastern Kebab Restaurant, this is it! Every penny of your money will be worth it. Amazing customer service, delicious food, well decorated and clean restaurant…..now thats the full package and very hard to find. The food is delicious and consistent every single time. Portions are large as well. The barg is my absolute favorite. I’ve been going to this establishment since it opened up in Westbury, and have frequented the Flushing location for over a decade. The quality hasn’t diminished like the rest of the competition. My family always caters from here for small occasions. I’ve even introduced co workers who’ve never eaten Afghan food and are obsessed with it now. The owner has taken care of my family and friends for years.

Warning - food so good you’ll get the ITIS. Had to control myself from eating the whole thing to avoid the food coma. Chicken is seasoned to perfection. Combined with the white, red, and green sauce, you have the perfect bite every time. Omar is the man behind the grill and I believe the owner as well. Nice guy. I’m from out of town but if I were a local this would be a staple in my week. The ONLY feedback I would have is to have the salad chopped a bit or a better way to incorporate it with the chicken and rice as I love my greens. But still, doesn’t matter I chopped it myself and the flavor of the chicken is unbeatable. Thanks Omar and team for an amazing lunch!

My friend and I walked in on a whim after an event across the street and SO glad we did! Delicious food and the chef / owner? was so friendly. My friend is Vegan and her dish was delicious. She had vegetables, eggplant, hummus, and salad with white rice. All was so delicious but the star was the eggplant. After tasting it I added a side for myself. I had the salmon which was cooked perfect. Nice char in the outside but tender on the inside. I can’t wait to try again.

With all that’s going on it’s was nice to grab dinner from a familiar spot. I haven’t been since pandemic started and that was a mistake. I ordered tonight and the food was amazing even better than I remembered if that’s possible. The chicken was cooked perfectly and the spices were so flavorful. The salmon kaba did not disappoint either. They even threw in some very tasty rice. Although there is no seating the gentleman, I think he was the owner, was very friendly and actually delivered my food to my car. It won’t be long before I order again!!

This place is amazing!!! I drive all the way from Brooklyn to come eat here. Why,? Everything on the menu is incredible! The beef and the lamb is cooked to perfection omg. The amount of food served is not small at all you get your moneys worth. But this is one of those gem places you just gotta visit no matter how far you are! You won’t regret it!! Thank you guys at the spot, they are also very awesome!

This is my go too! The food is always fresh, and cooked to perfection. The owner is super nice, so welcoming. Great for dining in and take out. We came to this place for a meeting. This place was recommended to us by a friend. Well, we were not disappointed. we were warmly welcomed by the staff members and we felt excellent. The meal was tasty. We enjoyed every moment and we shall definitely come back again. we highly recommend this place.

Not only is everyone incredibly friendly but the food is amazing! The Lamb Tikka Kabob is perfectly marinated and portions are very generous. The rice is beautifully spiced and I will definitely be coming back to try more things on the menu! Would highly recommend!!

The lamb chops and rice were absolutely divine - tender, juicy, and full of flavor. We ordered chicken and lamb kebabs combo. The combo comes with salad, pita with hummus along with brown rice. Perfect amount of food for two people. Kebabs were perfectly spiced and cooked. Rice were moist and Salad were fresh. Love the food.

This food is some of the best I’ve had anywhere. All the meats have a perfect blend of spices, making the food very flavorful and enjoyable! Their platters are my personal favorite. Been ordering from here since moved to Westbury. Food is amazing, the lambchops are just magnificent. Guy running the kitchen (I suck at remembering names) is always nice and attentive. Note that if you decide to eat in, it is self service, you order food and drinks, self seat, and self clean after yourself. No waiters. All in all, portions are generous, made to order, and extremely tasty and delicious. You'll be glad you decided to eat here.

Love the food at kabul its never dry and full of flavor and life. The portions are good ,and you won't be hungry. We also enjoy seeing Omar when we come in for pick up as he always recommends something new for us to try. We definitely recommend kabul as we live in Massapequa to come and get food. Afghani kebab at its best. All types of skewered meats, including Jujeh. The brown rice here is what separates it from the rest. You’ll never forget it. Same owner as the one from Flushing. That location has been around for 30+ years. All NY Afghans know this place.

My family and I have been going here since I was young. There is no other kebab house that can compare to them. Love the food and the staff is super nice and friendly!
