Chef Jimmy aka Soy Sauce was great! The entire time he was making jokes and kept the entire table engaged. They have a decent size parking but if the lot is full you have to find parking on the street. I would recommend both the hibachi and sushi!

Thoroughly enjoyed this spot. Took my mom and family here for Mother's Day dinner. Hostess were friendly, chef was quite entertaining 😁 Food was delicious. So much food we had to ask for a take out dish. Will def be returning 🙂

We made reservations on a Saturday at 1:00. They just opened so there was no other guests waiting when we got there. We got seated right away. The hibachi cook was fun to watch. He was friendly and most important he cooked all our food choices to perfection!

Hibachi place nice large friendly staff. I had, Salmon Teriyaki with veggies and a glass of liquor. It was yummy. The only thing is they actually rushed our party out cuz more ppl made reservations..I did not like that at all. Smh

This experience was not what I expected and I'm thoroughly disappointed in my time and the food. We ordered take out and when we checked out, we had ordered 88 dollars of food and received mediocre portions and food that not only was cold but not of quality flavor. Our order was "gyoza" which weren't real gyoza, 2 hand rolls which were decent, and 2 specialty rolls which were barely put together or cooked where the menu indicated cooked meat. It felt like $5 sushi for an $88 price tag. There was no redeeming qualities about the food except that it was over quickly. Our food was on "sale" so they value our food at over 120, which is Even more outrageous. I've eaten sushi at a bunch of places and I'd steer clear of Asahi.

We picked this place based off the good reviews, however we got the 1 star service. I will say this review is based off a slow Tuesday night rather than a busy weekend experience and that for sure effected the experience. We came in about 8pm, 2 hours before closing. The staff was very attentive which later translated into they were rushing us out the door, we just didn’t realize. To start, the was no atmosphere and it was freezing. The drinks were good and a very generous pour. However our fried calamari appetizer was very chewy and came with hair in it. The waitress was very apologetic and took it off the bill. We ordered a hibachi combination and a bento box. They came out about 5minutes apart! While the food wasn’t BAD, it wasn’t very good either. The hibachi plate was drowning in a watery teriyaki sauce and the portions in the Bento box were off. Also avocado rolls were ordered but California rolls is what came out. Lastly, the most annoying part of the experience, within the first 10 minutes of getting our food, the waitress came and checked in on us 3 times. We thought she was just trying to ensure we were happy after the hair incident. By the 5/6th time and asking if we wanted a to go box a few times, she let us know they were closing. On Google it says they close at 10, she said this about 915. We were just trying to finish our meal, we had JUST received but by 930 the ENTIRE staff was sitting in the dinning room, coats on waiting for us to go. Obviously at that point we got the hint, downed our drinks and got out of there. Now I understand slow nights and wanting to close early, but geez a little tact would’ve went a long way. By other reviews it might be worth it to visit at a different time, however I also see there’s other reviews of hair being found in food, so clearly their sanitary practices aren’t up to standard. We won’t be back that’s for sure.

What a wonderful hibachi place! Really great for kids too. Our hibachi chef was easily the most entertaining we have ever encountered. Extremely kid fun and friendly. And most Importantly the food tasted great. It’s a real hibachi place so don’t expect things like sushi etc. highly recommended especially for families with kids.

I've been to plenty of hibachi places but this has to be one of the best. You could tell the ingredients were very fresh and although on the pricier side, the amount of food you get is insane. Everything tasted amazing, even the Mongolian beef (which I was surprised to see on the menu), the sushi was also good. I would like to point out that the kid's hibachi meal is the exact amount of food as the adult meal but at a lesser price ($16 instead of $22). As far as the hibachi chef, they are amazing showman with great culinary and entertaining skills, although our chef that night was bit over the top, lol. The experience was fun for kids and adults alike. The location was also appealing to the eye.

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING! The staff are all so nice and this is literally the best hibachi place I have ever been to! The food was great, and I really recommend trying the fried ice cream. The prices seem pretty reasonable for me too. I have only been here twice, but this place definitely deserves more than just 5 stars. I definitely want to come again for sure. Forget all the other hibachi places, this one is my new favorite!

Always walk pass this restaurant and it always looks so unappealing but I saw online they had 4.4 stars and I decided to try it out on a Sunday afternoon….I was happily surprised! Food was excellent ! There was only a couple people so it felt like we had the place to ourselves! If you wanna have a low key lunch this is your place.

Love it here...been 3x. We have been lucky enough to always get the same chef...he is so entertaining along with making great food. Not sure if he really goes by this name, but he tells people to call him Crazy Chef :)

Food was amazing only when Bobby cooks it. Staff is rude they do the bare minimum yet have the balls to ask for a higher tip and question why you tipped what you did! The prices are ridiculous and at one point they charged us more then the menu stated and they said they didn't get the new menus in yet not my problem you're to honor the prices on the menu you can't legally do that, but I paid it anyway to avoid embarrassment. They told us the lunch prices didn't count on the weekend so I said to the waiter because people only eat lunch Monday through Friday are you serious!? What kind of nonsense is that!? I now understand why their lot is always empty and no one is really inside. We won't be going back anymore.

Nice cozy restaurant, friendly and helpful staff. We enjoyed sushi and wine all while patrons enjoyed the hibachi birthday celebration on the other end! I'd definitely visit again!

Service was exceptional. Very family oriented. Nice atmosphere. Our chef was friendly, excited and awesome. The staff gave my daughters balloons at the end of our dinner.

Oh all the sushi places I ever ordered from. This place is one of the best I ever had. Hands down. They have a variety of sushi I don't see usually anywhere else, they have constant discounts on some sushi rolls as well. When dining there the Hibachi chef I've met has a lot of fun with the service and the steak and shrimp he cooks on the table in front of you is really good. They have really good cocktail drinks there as well. I would highly recommend this place. I've ordered from there for years.

Whenever I come to eat here the staff is not very welcoming and they tend to make guests feel rushed. The lady taking our order on the phone was very rude as well as the other staff members. We specified at least 5 times that we wanted an order of rice with no onions because we had someone that was allergic to them. I had to repeat the order many, many times to the lady on the phone. We received the order and both orders of rice had onions in them. I ordered orange chicken as well and it didn’t smell or taste like it does at the restaurant. My order was over $40. When we called back to complain the lady hung up on us and only offered $17 back on my next order. There were small dark hairs in the rice as well. That’s completely disgusting and unsanitary. We called back once again when we found the hairs and the worker laughed at us and told us to call the next day. We called back for the third time, the next day, as they requested, and another lady said that we needed to bring the food in for inspection. Why would we keep gross food especially when they didn’t even tell us the night previous to the third call. Asahi made us waste a lot of food, money, and time for no reason.
