What can easily look unassuming from the outside is rather historic and epic once you enter. History is one thing; Savannah is choc full of history- but can they deliver delicious meals? My wife and I vote Yes. Not amazing food (we go to Maple St Biscuits for that), but had a very nice breakfast experience in an awesome, old brick building, where they do toast their own coffee beans (a big win! For me) I’m happy they offer a veg brat alternative for breakfast meats- it was quite tasty. If they take input from guests, I recommend they not use the equivalent of an ice cream scoop in serving scrambled eggs. It gives that pre-packaged, or microwave feel. Rather, a flatter large serving spoon would present a more natural scrambled eggs dish

Stopped here after breakfast because we were looking for a nice latte. The space is quite lovely inside, with ample seating. The morning we stopped in, a gentleman was playing some piano music in the background. Some people were chatting and others were on computers working. Service was friendly and quick. The Paris Fog was delightful; the flavors of the tea were balanced perfectly. Also got an oat milk latte with lavender. Again, the flavors were just right, a good flavor without overpowering the latte. Definitely planning on coming by again.

Cute coffee shop! Very busy with FANTASTIC pastries and desserts. Coffee was great, staff was friendly. Lots of comfy seating in front and outside. They roast their own beans and have a kitchen so you can get sandwiches and lunch too.

It’s a great place for pastries and okay place for coffee. The pasties we got were fresh and delicious. Coffee, however, was meh. Espresso too bitter, don’t know what beans they used for it, but is was not good. Maybe it tastes better with milk. They sell coffee beans as well, but not sure how good they are. Staff is nice.

Coffee institution roasting and serving java in the Hostess City since 1909. Among the best cakes and pastries in town—their Pavlova dessert is the ABSOLUTE BEST. When I’m not on the road singing or performing in Savannah, I contribute freelance writing to Savannah Morning News. And Savannah Coffee Roasters is one of my preferred spots to work and write. I like it because the space is large with room to spread out and focus on a writing project. If you arrive by 8 am, there’s also ample parking available. But my absolute favorite is their Pavlova dessert made with whipped and baked egg whites and topped with whipped cream, strawberries, raspberries and blueberries. There is nothing else like it in Savannah. Pavlova is a dessert from Australia, and story has it, the most recent owners, who purchased the business 12 years ago, insisted on Pavlova being one of their signature sweets. The wife of the business duo is from Australia. She knows the transformative power of this heavenly dessert made from scratch sometimes multiple times per day. I come to Savannah Coffee Roasters primarily to work, but if you’re visiting the city, you must stop in for the Pavlova. It is truly a Hostess City treasure.

We came here for breakfast because they were a close walk from our hotel and they opened earlier than the other breakfast places nearby. Loved the cozy sitting area. We ordered at the counter and received our coffees, then went to sit. They brought our breakfast out to us, probably because it wasn't busy yet. Later I saw people going up to get their food. The eggs and waffles were very good and the coffee was excellent. It is a little pricey, so it's a splurge breakfast.

In the morning while wandering the streets of Savannah I decided to take a quick coffee stop at Savannah Coffee Roasters. It is a beautiful cafe with nice decor. After browsing through the menu I decided to order Butter Croissant and Mocha Coffee. I got my order in 5 minutes. The croissant was perfectly roasted and was hot and fresh. Loved the croissant. Along with the croissant the mocha coffee was also freshly brewed and loved my morning coffee along with a quick breakfast stop.

Very busy on a Saturday morning, but staff was great and food arrived quickly. Had a breakfast burrito, latte with bonus espresso, and a date/walnut muffin. All delicious and fresh.

Went here to study. Large space & good variety of seating options with some wall outlets. Iced chai latte was perfect, the avocado toast was a little too spicy for me. They made it with feta cheese & cherry tomatoes which I love, but could have used more cherry tomatoes and less pepita seeds. Service was👌

Great vibe, live music first thing in the morning. Definitely bustling but a fun stop, especially if you’re staying near downtown and can walk right in for a great coffee. Sweets looked to die for and our breakfast sammys were great!

I really liked this coffeeshop and it seemed like a popular place. Lots of seating, outlets and treats to eat. It's probably a good idea to get there early if you want a comfy place to sit. We were not so lucky to get a corner spot but the tables are spacious. I had an iced mocha and pumpkin cheesecake. Both were yummy. I also really liked the cups, decor and atmosphere.

We ordered a malted scone and drip and cold brew coffees. The cups are very cute and the coffee was warm. I did find a bug in my coffee upon opening the lid and adding some creamer. The atmosphere was really nice. The employees were not as welcoming as some of the other coffee shops or stores in the area. We loved seeing the roasting machines. Overall we would come again but we werent too impressed this first time other than the environment.

possibly the best coffee place in savannah. (i haven’t been to all of them but i have been to quite a few) this one is always so consistent AND they have great food, which is hard to find a place that has good food and coffee. pictured is my regular drink from here: iced caramel macchiato with oat milk, sub vanilla for butter pecan. *my only complaint is their rewards system never seems to work for me. i’ve talked to employees a couple times about it too

I have been coming here for years but i am really disappointed today, i paid $12 for avocado toast, without the avocadoand only tomato and cheese! The coffee is still good so theres that.

Super cute and quaint location with really great coffee. Had a 5 hour layover in Savannah and so glad I decided to stop by after seeing this place on Google. The drip coffee with oat milk was delicious. Highly recommend.

Easily a better experience all around than ANY big chain coffee roaster. We stopped in for a mid-morning coffee and were honestly shocked at how much we enjoyed it. The vibe is just right for the area and the drinks were on point. Ample cozy inside seating with comfortable seating outside as well made this a great spot to just relax for a moment while you enjoy a fresh drink or quick bite.

This is a nice coffee house that opens early and has plenty of room both inside and outside. It is close to Pulaski Square so if the weather is nice you can enjoy your coffee out there. Service seemed a little rushed and they actually left out part of my order which I didn't discover until I got all the way back to my hotel room. Other than that no complaints...good coffee, great pastries and atmosphere.

If you want to wait in line, this is your spot. Very slow line. The chicken and waffles are the most disappointing I've ever had. The chicken was a frozen grocery store patty that was cut into pieces, absolutely bush league. The waffles and coffee were good. And the only reason it got a 2nd star.

Went in today! The iced coffee was delicious. I would definitely go back for plain coffee. When I asked if the syrups were gluten free the barista didn’t know. That’s fine. Another worker said she didn’t know why they wouldn’t be. Well… good thing I checked myself, because they aren’t! It’s important for food workers to know, especially if if can make people very sick.

This is a spacious coffee shop. We ordered coconut vanilla latte and honey bee almond latte. Both are great. For breakfast , we had Avacado toast and egg cheese crossaint. They were delicious. People who took our orders were great with suggestions and kind. The ambiance was good, too.

I went for a Lox and Bagel and receive a toasted bagel with a lot of lettuce, two cups of cream cheese and two tiny smoked salmon. I paid almost 20$ for it and I am extremely disappointed, I will not be visiting anymore.

If you want a good latte, look no further. The place looks like a mix between a fancy Starbucks and a bakery. Good, friendly service. The pastries look delicious, and they have a menu with other food options available. Definitely make an effort to stop by and grab some coffee if you’re in Savannah.
