Loved the vibe of this location. The park was truly amazing and I especially loved the Chattahoochee river there. There were people to my surprise swimming in the river which is a bit funny concerning the weather and it is December. There were many ducks enjoying the peoples presence. The river seems like an amazing place to visit during the summer and I bet I'll be sure to visit it as well. There was a big field and a playground for children as well. If you want a park and somewhere to swim I would recommend this to you and your family. -B

I’ve been going to this park from 2011. It is the special place to me. The river is the best part ! I love being able to escape from the city noise on this place. The view is amazing all year round. Absolutely my sanctuary!

This place is absolutely stunning. I took my daughter one morning and the fog on the water was breathtaking. The scenery was beautiful. Well kept area. They have a beached volleyball area and a Pavillion. Saw some martial arts style workouts which was cool to see.

I stumbled across this park just looking for a playground. I had no idea about everything that was here. These is a lawn to throw a blanket and a walking trail. There are facilities to use the restroom and sand to play volleyball. The best part is the river. You can walk on the stairs and let the water hit your feet or go fishing. The walking trail is awesome and you can walk off of the trail to the shore. Though I don't use them, there are also stationary BBQ grills there. Everyone is always pleasant there and it is always a good time. A definate 5 star.

This place is cool, I like the river side place to relax. Park not so big but good in size spend time with kids in play area. It have 2 party stands which can be reserved. Ample parking spaces close to 40 or 50 cars. Few barbecue places in park for summer enjoyments. Well maintained washrooms. Ramp is available for strollers and wheelchairs. It also have volleyball and football grounds to play.

Always love coming here for its perfect location, nearby chatahoochee river, great kids park, open groud, trail. Just sitting near the river at sunset or any other time makes this place worth visiting. Lot of ducks in the river that we feed at times as well as lot of other people. You can see people having a great picnic time, fishing in the river, kids playing near thr rivershore. Always some celebration happening in this area. Recommended for sure.

Restrooms were the weakest part of the park - smelly and full of webs, but working. Road in the park very scenic, parking lot new. You can have a simple/flat walk along the river for 3/4 of a mile or find 5 miles of oaths with some hills.. Nice and new river/dock viewing area if you walk past the restrooms and keep on the path. Saw two deer - one doe and one buck There are actually two parks. My review was the west side where any showing pavilions or playgrounds are on the east side of the river

Very tranquil. Loved the river even though it was muddy from all the rain we've had. Nice clean restrooms.

Such a nice little park by the Chattahoochee River. We grabbed a nice take out dinner and picnicked by the river. Took some time to stroll around the park a well. Will have to revisit here again soon.

This park is awesome. Tucked away a little bit, but it's a secret garden! Nice playsets for the kids, bathroom facilities, covered pavilions with grills, and large grassy field make this a fun place to spend some time. You can access the Chattahoochee from here, and it is breathtaking. Wide river with a steady stream. Some people were getting their feet wet, but it was too cold for me. Picnic tables are available at the waters edge.

Lots of shades, cold river water with very slippery rocks so be aware. Very nice place to go family picnic, BBQ, hangout. Nice little playground my daughter had tons of fun. Restroom very hot in there during summer. Dog friendly & people fishing.

Very nice place to get away for a second and enjoy the outdoors with family, friends even great for dates. The river is a must see and great for putting your feet in and get them a little wet. But be careful because the dam do release its water which causes the water to rise so the rocks will disappear and you don't want to be stuck out in the waters. Definitely check it out.

My kids love this playground. It has some different elements than other playgrounds in Gwinnett County. We also love playing in the river. There are several spots with steps leading down to the water, so access is easy to wade.

Beautiful park with a peaceful walking trail along the river, large playground, pavilion area, and field. Ample parking and excellent access to shallow areas of the river that can be accessed from many sets of stairs along the trail. The park is pet friendly, clean and conveniently located.

Great little (certainly not tiny, though) playground for our three granddaughters, all under six years of age. They absolutely loved it. We had hoped to go down to the river to feed the ducks, but recent heavy rains prevented us from doing that when we were there.

I would say this park is medium in size. Plenty of excellent views from the river. I saw many people fishing here. Also some people were just enjoying the views sitting on the rocks in the middle of stream. This park does have Pavilions to rent, they also have grills. The playground is a nice size and looks fairly new. There is also a sand vollyball court. There is a very nice open area to relax near the playground. I spoke with some locals at this park who advised me the bridge has been removed.

Beautiful views, lots of space for grilling and picnic with the family. Doesn't have a walking trail though.

Beautiful Park with a wonderful river to dive in! It was so many beautiful spots for pictures, to refresh yourself in the river and for the little ones to play! Definitely loved it!

This is a really nice place to fish & just chill on the weekends. I don’t recommend cooking out there. There’s ton of bees. Also the bathrooms are veryyyyy dirty. So if you have little ones I don’t recommend taking them here , specially if they have to use the restroom all the time. The playground is pretty big….

Best place to walk - especially with pets! Breathe the clean fresh air and enjoy the calmness of the river. Highly recommended to all.

Our family enjoys the outdoors. The day was perfect to cool off from the heat in the Chattahoochee River. Even though the area was packed with lots of families and large groups each enjoying picnics or bbqs, we were able to find a quiet area to enjoy ourselves. I have hosted birthday parties for my children in this park, the small pavilion is very convenient, it is next to the playground area and surrounded by lots of green grass. The park is dog friendly and has trails, soccer fields, and volleyball area next to the large pavilion. This is a nice place to enjoy with family and friends.

The playground at this park is fantastic. It has 2 different play sets for older (5-12) and younger (2-5) kids, but they are really close together so I'm not having to run back and forth between. The playgrounds are also surrounded by a stone wall, so my toddler can't go running off somewhere. The pavilion was really nice too!
