Soooo we landed at Billings air port and came straight to this place mainly because I’m a sucker for biscuits and gravy and the pictures on Google map looked good, and let me tell you it did not disappoint. First and foremost these guys do potatoes RIGHT! Whether it’s the French fries or home fries these things were perfectly crispy, hot off the frier and perfectly seasoned. Crunchy crispy exterior with warm and fully cooked and soft interior, i dare say some of the best fries I’ve had (if not ever). The gravy was mostly sausage (yum) and flavorful, really well done. The chicken breast was moist and crispy and very good portion size, biscuits were fluffy and very pleasant, I’d give them a 9/10 ( but really have no reason to not give them a 10, okay fried food isn’t healthy so maybe if they make it healthy lol). And they made my scrambled eggs perfectly the way I asked (fluffy and done without being runny or gooey or overdone plasticky). Wife, who’s a country fried steak connoisseur thought it was the best she’s ever had and loved the fries just as much. Daughter not the biggest fan of her Buffalo chicken because it wasn’t spicy enough, but then again we are in Montana and I’m not sure what’s the definition of spicy hot here compared to California with all our Mexican, Korean and Indian spicy foods everywhere so these guys get a pass on that one. But she also loved the fries. For me it’s a definite come back again SOON place.

The best breakfast and lunch food in Billings. The staff here is always so friendly and the service is absolutely wonderful. The food is a mix of family favorites and amazing comfort foods. There is a lot of variety to fit any taste.

Fast service, authentic atmosphere, and unique menu items. Plated food looked delicious, and it won't disappoint. No wait time for the check either, in quick and out quick like good service should be!

Fantastic extensive menu for breakfast and lunch only. I ate here for 4 days straight, and each meal was better than I hoped for. I ate both breakfast and lunch and everything was delicious. It's relatively popular but has lots of seating and there was never a wait. The ladies that work there are exactly what you want to find in a diner, sweet, smart, and someone everyone knows. The coffee is better than most restaurants and they get local meats, ice cream, and other items to include on their menu. If you are looking for a good breakfast or lunch, this is your next stop.

Stayed at the Northern Hotel and had breakfast at Bernie's and then returned 2 days later because it was so awesome. Breakfast sandwich 1st time and French toast 2nd time. My son had avocado toast then eggs Benedict. All were generous portions and very fresh and yummy. The waitresses are a hoot.Old world diner friendly. Sit at the bar for the good "diner feel". I will return again and again when in Billings👍

This is a restaurant on the ground floor of the Northern hotel. They have beautiful coffee cups and linen napkins - kinda cool and something I rarely see. Nice touches abound, if abounding floats your boat. I had the Ranch - biscuits and gravy again, (I'm on a very long road trip). Lots of sausage in the gravy and it was one of the better meals I've had this trip. Big portions. Pancakes were good and breakfast sandwich looked above average. They did have avocado toast. Service pleasant, but the place seemed understaffed - though every place I ate in Billings seemed understaffed.

Start to finish this place was absolutely fantastic! Super cute and phenomenal customer service! Thank you soo much! It really was the best place to start our adventures! The food is definitely unforgettable! My husband even finished off my biscuits and gravy and absolutely loved it. He not a fan of biscuits or gravy, so that tell you something!! I can not express enough how delicious it really was🤤

Amazing diner with tables and bar seating, no booths. I got the kobe steak with eggs. And a side of caltain crunch french toast. Everything tastes great and the steak was cooked perfectly. The wait was about 30 minutes and it took the food about 15 to come out. A definite must stop!!

Everything was exactly what you would want from diner...fast, substantial portions...great breakfast. Eggs done perfectly. Pancakes had great flavor and were nice and thick with good syrup.

Great food and great atmosphere. Old school diner feel with friendly wait staff. Breakfast was phenomenal! The only complaint I have was the wait for the food was a bit long but seemed to be due to a shortage of cook staff. Well worth the wait though!

Another awesome stop for breakfast. A few things that made it only 4/5 stars for me. I had the Meat Lovers Frittatas. I like eggs/meal to be moist but I think since the meal is still cooking in skillet when they bring it to the table it over cooks and dries out the whole meal so that was disappointing. Also the biscuits and gravy, the gravy had the unique but awesome flavor, it was the biscuits that turned it away for me. The biscuits are thick and dense making it a heavy feeling bite. The corn beef hash was cooked perfect and the kids oatmeal was out of this world. The fresh fruit and toast also was great. No reason to leave this place hungry!!! The service was excellent.

It's a cute place and it must be really popular because it was packed. The food is good but pretty pricey. I would say the price is worth it for the service, atmosphere, speed of service, and portion size. I probably won't go back for a while because of the price, but it is somewhere I would take family when they come into town

This place doesn’t get enough love! It’s very classy place and the food is wonderful! Great prices too! Highly suggest it over many other breakfast joints in downtown. There was a long wait and don’t appear to be under staffed.

Great food, excellent coffee, the best diner in Billings! A true diner with counter stools to sit at and enjoy your bowl of coffee. The menu changes pretty frequently and always includes Montana cuisine. Love the French toast and breakfast burrito.

Loved the ambience of the restaurant and the service was excellent. The food itself was good although a bit salty. Saw another customer get a banana split that looked delicious but sadly I had no room. Next time!

I came in on a Sunday morning and the place was fairly busy however I was seated and taken care of fast. The staff was very friendly friendly and the interior of the place is fantastic. Mainly white and very very clean. Prices are also very reasonable. I got the half order of eggs Benedict ($9) and wasn’t very impressed. The Hollandaise sauce was far too eggy lacking any notes of mustard or butter. The smoked ham on it didn’t taste like any ham I’ve had before. The English muffin it was served over was overcooked and very difficult to cut through. I would definitely come back and try something else on the menu though! 🍳

Great service and awesome food. ALWAYS ask a local for food recommendations. The elk sausage skillet was a great choice!

Attentive service staff. Don’t expect to have a quick breakfast as the food prep time was considerably longer than one would expect. Had “The Ranch” which was biscuits and gravy with eggs and sausage. Decent but nothing to write home about. Another overpriced Billings restaurant because at $16 for this relatively small portion it didn’t include toast or anything else and its $4 to add one pancake. Would try this place again maybe for the pancakes. The bakery items looked good. Parking may be a problem.
