The beach is usually clean. The water is as expected for a lake. No real issues as there is a stream in the center of the beach that keeps the lake itch out. Otherwise, life guards are good. There are stone picnic tables and a beautiful shade tree. 2022 update: not much to report. The tree lost a limb. The beach is still good.

Beautiful lake and beach!! I've been swimming in this lake since I was a little girl and it's still my favorite place to swim!! It has nice stone picnic benches for a little snack if you need a break from swimming. The beach access is great for all ages as it's got a shallow spot for the kiddos when they can be close to shore

Beach itself is an amazing spot. The care of the beach is terribly lacking. Bathrooms are rarely open, which entices the public to use the area behind the bathrooms as a restroom. Toilet paper and feces behind the bathtoom are a common sight. My family and I were there over Memorial Day weekend. For 4 days straight there were 2 dead Northerns right up on the beach. Sad it's being so neglected.

This has become one of our favorite swimming beaches for the family. It's very clean, and there's an option to rest on the beach or on grass under a large tree.
