I’ve had dreams (yes plural) about the garlic noodles and chicken lollipops. I truly cannot understand how everything from this spot tastes so insanely good and flavorful! The service is also incredible – just ask for a recommendation and you’ll see how they clearly love food and want you to love what you eat too. I regularly pick something up from here and take it home only to stand in my kitchen eating it at the counter because the smell drove me so crazy on my way back home that I can’t bare to wait another second to sit down at the table like a normal human. Try this place.

The wait can be kinda long, but the food is so good that it's worth it. The garlic noodles are a must, and you can't go wrong with any of the protein choices. Although the chicken wings are top tier! Put in your order, find a nice table to chill at, and then enjoy :)

Stopped by the new food cart pod on 35th place and ate at Mama Chow’s! I got the garlic noodle plate with lollipop wings and it was incredibly delicious. Such fantastic flavors and super lovely folks running it. Can’t wait to return!

Tender juicy chicken (lollipop chicken) and perfectly seasoned garlic noodles! Excellent food - we will be back often!! The owner Jeff and business partner Margret are the kindest people you'll meet too. So happy to welcome them to the neighborhood and loved how sweet they were to us and everyone during the heat wave!

Mama Chow’s is an exemplar of what makes the Portland food scene so great. We went with the classics — lollipop chicken and garlic noodles (10/10). Also got a side of BBQ pork (7/10). Will be back to try the other items on the menu. Kinda sad that Rev Nat’s, but hopefully a brewery moves into the space and makes a nice rice lager to go with Mama Chow’s dishes?

I hazard to say these are the best noodles in town! Garlic noodles with pork are a family favorite, the toddler eats a whole serving. 👍

Authentic Chinese from a food cart. In other places, noodles are just a vehicle to transport sauce to your mouth - not so here. The noodles are the main feature, chewy and flavorful, not over cooked. That said, the vegetables were delightful too. The tofu was superior: fried wrong, tofu can be leathery on the outside but this was tender and flavorful without being soggy.

Recently moved to the Farmhouse Food Cart Pod, behind/next to Rev Nat's, they haven't missed a beat!! Garlic Noodles with BBQ pork was amazing. The fried tofu was great, and if anyone tells you they hate tofu, they should try MamaChow's, it's a game changer. We also had wings and the pork and shrimp dumplings. You cannot go wrong with any of it!!

Omg! The Garlic noodles and chicken lollipops were some of the best things I’ve been eaten. Seriously. It’s amazing. The Kahlua pork was so juicy and light. Very mild seasoning that didn’t feel heavy. But if you’re feeling spicy, get the garlic noodles.

Great noodles and customer service. Lollypop wings get rated top in city.

Hands down, my favorite food cart in the city! Nice folks, making great food at reasonable prices. True, the wait can sometimes be long, but a bowl of garlic noodles & wings this good is absolutely worth it.

Place did not disappoint. So good we got the chicken lollipops with garlic noodles, and Kalua pork with rice. Absolutely amazing would get again and recommend all day everyday and twice on Sunday.

The pork and shrimp is the best wonton soup I ever tried in states. I wanted to have it 2nd time but it closed already when reached the place around 2:25pm earlier today. A huge disappointment for me - but if I ever come to PDX again, I will definitely visit Mama Chow once more

Had a great first experience at Mama Chow’s Kitchen! Best food that my partner & I had while visiting from California. Best dumplings we’ve ever had + the mild garlic noodles we’re bomb… Thanks, Jeff, for your hospitality and great food :)

Love this place! I found them via my GoBox app and even though I’m not working downtown anymore I try to enjoy the Kalua Pork over garlic noodles with a side of Lollipop Wings which will last for four meals. Today I tried the BBQ Pork Chow Mein Oakland Chinatown Style. I vote to add this to the menu permanently! It pairs perfectly with Breakside’s Passion Fruit Sour Ale.

Came here for Chinese new year. Got to see the show and got the wonton chicken noodles soup and chicken wings. Overall decent place for lunch, however the queue to put in the order was really long, Took about 45 minutes!
