This is the saddest, most picked over, dirty, and expensive thrift store I have ever seen…they wanted $10.49 for a t-shirt. Not a special t-shirt, a very used LOFT shirt. Yet a nicer, newer LOFT top was $6.49. Making brands expensive to prevent poorer folks from affording them is NOT a good look, “value” village. Most of the stuff was items you’d find on the sidewalk for free after a Portland yard sale ends on a Sunday and they couldn’t sell the junk. That’s exactly what this store is filled with…expensive junk. Plus the cashiers were BARKING at people. Wow, what a horrible level of disrespect for all humans who enter this store. You have been warned.

This is the only Value of Village that I’m aware of left standing. Their prices on clothes are much higher than Goodwill. But their prices on furniture and items like bicycles, shovels, fireplace grates, lifting weights, rocking horses, stuff like that located in the back left of the store might as will be half of what Goodwill wants for the same stuff. They’re pricing on kitchen stuff like plates blenders slow cooker’s classes that’s all about half of what Goodwill asks for as well. So it’s absolutely worth swinging in to see what they got going on. Oh… and compared to most Goodwill stores. This location is huge.

I went in found some dresses and when I went to ask about a fitting room they tell me they don't have one, but they offer a refund. So I buy the dresses and try them on at home. One doesn't fit and the other has a stain so I go back to return them the next day. Turns out they only do exchange and no you can't exchange for a gift card. If I knew that I wouldn't have risked it. So now I'm stuck with $25 of trash unless if I can find something worth exchanging in two weeks. If you don't have a fitting room, refunds should be available! Buyer beware!

They have no changing rooms, and I was told Today that there is no plan to bring them back ever due to "too much activity going on in there". I had to put an entire cart of clothes back because I'm not stripping to try on pants and dresses in the isles, like some of the other customers were doing.

Always find something awesome and if you know how to shop you can get a ton of cool unique stuff for a great price while keeping a ton of clothes out of the landfill

Normally a decent selection of books and board games which is what I go for. Lots of shoes too. And other clothes

Not bad for a thrift store. Some stuff is a bit pricey though. Only worth buying if it has the colored tag discount for 50% Edit: It is best to shop at thrift stores if you are looking for something specific.

The prices are ridiculous. Ladys, you can buy many of those cute summer clothes at Forever 21, Maurices Wal-Mart, or Target for less than what you'll pay at Value Village.
