I've
been
to
a
lot
of
doctors
to
try
to
figure
out
my
very
long-term
chronic
back/shoulder/neck
muscle
tension/pain
problem.
I've
given
up
on
hope
for
the
most
part,
so
any
improvement
I
get
from
anything
is
more
of
a
bonus
to
me
than
an
expectation.
So
I
didn't
expect
any
miracles
from
Pacific
Sports
and
Spine
(PS&S).
The
worst
I
expected
was
"we
don't
know",
which
I've
heard
a
lot.
I
went
there
twice,
the
first
time
for
an
initial
consultation,
the
second
to
review
MRIs
that
were
ordered.
It
made
a
VERY
bad
impression
on
me
when
I
came
in
and
waited
for
over
6-8
minutes
for
the
receptionist
to
finish
talking
to
a
patient.
I
normally
wouldn't
get
too
upset
about
that,
but
the
conversation
they
were
having
was
about
fishing.
The
person
behind
the
desk
literally
watched
me
stand
there
waiting
while
she
talked
about
fishing
with
someone,
as
though
I
wasn't
even
there.
Another
patient
came
in
after
me
and
the
receptionist
continued
to
talk
to
the
guy
like
they
were
hanging
out
at
a
bar.
I
was
about
to
say
something
when
someone
else
behind
the
counter
said
"I
can
help
you
over
here".
I
have
very,
very
loose
standards
when
it
comes
to
people
who
deal
with
the
public.
I'm
not
one
of
these
people
who
gets
upset
over
minor
inconveniences,
as
I
recognize
that
dealing
with
people
is
not
an
easy
job.
But
it's
absolutely
inexcusable
that
PS&S's
desk
person
talked
for
quite
a
while
about
nothing
at
all
with
a
patient
while
I
and
another
person
stood
there
waiting.
My
first
appointment,
with
two
doctors,
went
okay.
I
got
some
useful
information
and
we
talked
about
options.
It
was
clear
that
a
new
MRI
was
needed
before
we
could
do
much,
so
I
had
them
order
it.
I
got
that
done
but
PS&S
never
called
me
about
it.
I
called
them
and
set
up
an
appointment.
The
review
of
my
MRI
was
bad.
The
person
doing
it
wasn't
one
of
the
docs
I'd
had
before,
and
she
was
very
cold.
It
felt
like
I
was
an
imposition,
like
my
questions
(I
ask
many,
but
a
sign
of
a
good
doc
is
that
they
don't
mind)
were
seen
as
getting
in
the
way
of
making
money.
It
felt
like
the
goal
was
to
get
me
to
have
procedures
done
there
so
they
could
make
money,
not
to
actually
get
to
the
root
of
the
problem.
It
was
clear
that
the
person
doing
the
imaging
follow-up
expected
me
to
just
say
"okay,
whatever
you
say"
and
make
an
appointment
to
have
a
procedure.
I
decided
to
go
back
to
my
great
pain
management
doc
to
have
him
do
the
procedure.
Aside
from
him
knowing
my
body
well
already,
I
don't
trust
PS&S
to
do
what
I
actually
need,
rather
than
what
makes
money
for
them.
I
keep
getting
voice
mails
from
them
asking
to
set
an
appointment
for
the
procedure,
yet
they
never
followed
up
with
me
on
my
imaging
until
I
said
something.
They're
far
from
the
worst
medical
establishment
I've
been
to,
and
maybe
I
just
had
a
not-great
experience,
but
I
just
didn't
get
a
good
feeling
there.
