We love this place. Their spicy pork is excellent and the sides are always fresh and made on-site. Also try their kimchi pancake. Sounds weird but it is really good.

Service was 100% on fire. I have never received such quick service. From sitting down, to ordering to getting out food. Omg it was all so delicious. Thank you for making my night great!

4.5 with no rounding. Impressive to their attention pancakes, but little bit expensive. Other food is great, cheap and tasty. But for the ramen is not as spicy as I expected. Overall. Kinda cheap and tasty, just so you know I am not a big fun Korean food. But I like it. Btw, service are really nice.

I stopped by here on a whim today after dropping a kid off at Willamette Uni. I am so glad I did! Wonderful ambiance, warm staff, absolutely delicious food. I had the bul go gi, and with that came an array of pickled veggies and scallion cake. The veggies ranged from sweet to spicy-- yum! Afterward they brought me a slice of sweet, juicy watermelon. I'm in heaven right now.

The food was wonderful and the staff was amazing! The #40 chicken was very good as well as the kal bi and kimchi. One of the women gave my son a banana and a little pie, which was very generous. I’m also impressed that they close on Monday’s to feed homeless folks. If you love Asian food, you will love this restaurant!!!

Update: 11/10/23 I order on the new online system. And while it wasn't the best to deal with it was pretty straightforward. I got 3 items. They were ready in 30 mins and to be honest I was late by 15 mins and the food was still piping hot. I got what could be called the kimbap, the kimchi stew with mackerel, and then a combo plate. This was more then enough for my family of 5 who loves. Bit of everything with leftovers. I appreciate the hand written note they do even though I'm not religious. In fact I'm the opposite and find the notes they write still very sweet. And kind. Nonother business takes the time to do that for take out. The content doesn't really matter to me at that point its the thought and obvious care for people. They gave me some scallion pancakes and sides at no extra charge which are a huge highlight for the meal. They pair so well with all the dishes. This restaurant is the best Salem has to offer in my personal opinion on all fronts. Thank you. Prior review: I had lunch here a few weeks back. The service was quick and the place was packed. I got the special and a hot sake. Total was 12.99. Honestly, super fresh. They gave me a bunch of things to eat with my food and a free lil app. The service here is just outstanding. The food great. Such a cute Korean restaurant with kind hearted well behaved owner and the staff! This was our first visit and we would love to come back. Side dishes ( kimchi, broccoli, sprouts and cucumber pickles) were given along with the scallion pan cakes as complimentary at the beginning! Food was good as well! We ordered pan fried dumplings ( Man Doo) , seafood scallion pancake ( Pa Jun), fried rice and Kal Bi. At the end, they gave us Watermelon slices as complementary. It was overall nice experience and must recommended!

I love this place! I've been ordering from here a few months since moving to this area but they have THE BEST Korean food in the area, hands down! I went in to eat for the first time and they definitely did not disappoint me! Their service is amazing, and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. So yummy, so nice! 💓

Unfortunately, happy Bibim may have lost its shine. Met friends there to eat in. It's been a while. First, the waitress did not know her menu or much about koren food. After receiving our food my Bulgogi had so much fat on it, I cut more off with litte meat remaining. Not to mention the bones. I showed the waitress all the fat and received another order. My friend ordered jajangmyeon. The meat was not good. But she liked the taste. I also ordered gimbal. It was disappointing, thick rice, unevenly cut, terrible roll. This place has lost it's luster. Unfortunately, with other korean restaurants opening up in the area, there is more competition to search for delicious korean food. The owner is very nice, however for the price delicious food is also part of the experience.

Great food and friendly service.

Fun place to try Korean food, they have a large menu and pretty good prices. We tried a lot of their soups, mostly because I watched a Nation of Broth on Netflix and became obsessed with the idea of trying Korean soup. It did not disappoint! My favorite thing we tried was the spicy skate jigae soup, which is a spicy seafood soup. I will be back for sure.

Words can't even begin to describe this incredible establishment. My sister and I come to eat here more than any other restaurant, even for take out and I can honestly say that we have NEVER been disappointed. My favorite dish is the Daeji bulgogi. The service and staff are very pleasant and friendly.

Nice staff. Very hardworking and attentive. Shrimp tempura was way to greasy. Had to wipe down the oil with napkins. Small complimentary dishes were tasty. The bibimbab lacked taste. It had a lot of ingredients but tasted like nothing

Our waitress was sweet and helpful. The food here was a very pleasant surprise. Their Gresham Roll was a DELICIOUS sushi choice. They had multiple little appetizers that were a yummy unexpected addition to our meal. The #6 sweet potato noodles were A+. Looking forward to trying something new next time. The prices were nice and they wrapped up our meal with a small piece if fruit. So glad we followed the reviews on this one.

Must try restaurant if you're in Salem! Their bibim bap is amazing. I'm fan of poke bowl, loved making kimchi and bulgogi at home. My partner usually doesn't experiment outside of Indian, Mexican and Thai. She tried korean cuisine for the first time, and loved it!

We absolutely love coming here for dinner! The owner is so amazing; she's always happy and smiling and always accommodating to our big family with lots of young kids. The first time we walked in she made us feel so welcome with our kids that we knew we would be back! We have brought friends and had many date nights here since then. Our favorite things to get are the Pa Jun, Don Katsu, Ramen, and fried Man Doo. We also really like trying the new different sample foods they give on little dishes. Our kids love the decor and watching people walk by outside. They also love trying to use chopsticks and the fruit they bring out when we are done eating! It's such a cute little, family-friendly resturaunt and when we are craving good Korean food, we drive from Jefferson to come here!

Such excellent food. I was reluctant because I'd gone to a Korean restaurant in Eugene and was disappointed. Such a nice surprise. I had the beef Dol Sot Bibim Bot. I really wanted to try some kimchi so we also ordered the starter Doo Boo Kim Chi. All of the food was wonderful. When going through on I5 we will definitely plan on stopping again.

Friendly price with delicious food. Beyond my expectation. It's my first time coming here. Not a fancy restaurant but they have fast service and local Korean food. Highly recommend dolsot bimbimbap.

Last Sunday we went to see the cherry blossoms and stopped by this restaurant that is located nearby. Because we brought our golden retriever, we didn't want to bother anyone, so we ordered takeout and ate outside on the benches. The owner came out to welcome us and greeted our dog, petted him, gave him water and food which our dog enjoyed very much. We are very grateful for her generosity (I'm not sure if we expressed it properly since we are a bit shy, hehe). The bibimbap was delicious as well as the side dishes. We hope to come back someday and will recommend it to our family and friends. Thank you, God bless you ✨

Food and Service is great. We always order Korean Chinese noodle dish called Jjajangmyun and it is tasty and perfect as they make the noodles there on site. This is a huge deal as very few places pull their own noodle. I usually order to go so when I call to order, I ask that the noodles not be cooked. Then once home, put noodles in boiling water for about a minute and it is amazing. All the staff are very kind and courteous so no complaints there. They have Korean food, Sushi, and Korean-Chinese food. I highly recommend n

This place was incredible! We stopped here on our drive back to Portland and were so impressed. Generous portions, great specials, wonderful selection— All three of us were blown away. We only wish there was one near us!

Wonderful hospitality with outdoor picnic table seating. Wide menu. Everything fresh and well prepared.

They brought out lots of appetizer items before our meal, and then brought out watermelon for after out meal. All the food was great. The service is incredible. They all say goodbye to you when you leave, extremely kind.

I ordered takeout from here today. I got the noodles with chicken. it was really good and I was so impressed with the size of the portions. They also threw in some scallion pancake appetizer and kimchi. It was a huge lunch at a very reasonable cost. I'll definitely be back!

Food just like I enjoyed in Korea years ago - fresh, flavorful, and hot. I highly recommend this restaurant to experience a different, flavorful and wonderful cuisine from an under recognized culinary culture! They have an excellent sampling of Japanese favorites, including good sushi, too. I always look for local Asians and foreign students in Asian restaurants because they know authentic, and this is one of those! Staff are excellent, too; friendly, considerate, and truly want you to experience their best.
