Very enjoyable experience here. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The nature trail is well maintained and easy. It was quite and scenic. They offer a step back in time with historical buildings on site not just botany and a nature trail. Worth the drive - entey fee is minimal.

This place is quietly tucked away in Athens, Tx and it’s a destination worthy. The gentleman working at the front office was very personable and took the time to give my friend and I a quick rundown of the property. The trails were stunningly beautiful and the “bog”, which sounds entirely gross and unappealing, was gorgeous. There is something to be said of the smaller arboretum, as opposed to the widely known Dallas location. If you’re looking for a peaceful walk or an escape from the large city, go here.

Stopped by on our way back to Houston. The staff is very friendly. Even let my big German Shepherd into the office so they can show me the map of the whole place. Great place to walk with your dog, just keep them on a leash. The trails are fun, but the historical buildings were my favorite part.

The people are Great. The hikes were very pretty, and EASY ENJOYED all the additional things like Wofford house jail cell school house sculptures so much. The plants are returning after the Torch erous summer blazing hot. It was beautiful and coming back

Absolutely gorgeous! The hiking trail is great with different hiking options. They always have different classes and events going on. Dru at the front office is super friendly and helpful. We love going here.

The lady working the front desk was so nice and informative. We were from out of town and she told us about the annual fiddlers festival downtown which made us love Athens even more. Please give a donation on top of your very cheap ticket price so this beautifully kept arboretum can stay here
