Fun atmosphere. I enjoyed the music during lunch. My friend I brought with me mother is from Cuba, so he confirmed the food is very authentic. Everything was tasty, even though we probably went a little heavy on the fried options. I'd love to come back and try some od the seafood on the menu.

Me & wife decided to give this restaurant a try. We walked in and were promptly seated. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and welcoming. The atmosphere was cozy and the decor was fitting for the cuban experience. Our food was very tasty & well seasoned. But, a little on the cold side. However, with the menu being very broad, I will definitely be back to try more dishes.

My family and I have visited this location for several years now and the experience is hit or miss. The food is tasty but the service is not always the best. I got the Picadillo which is my favorite but they do have others that are just as good. My mom loves the bistec empanizado.

I placed an order to go on the phone. She took my order, said it would be 30 minutes, and then hung up. When my husband arrived to pick up the food, the lady said they didn’t make it because she didn’t have a name for the order. I would have happily given her my name had she asked! Then, my husband had to wait longer for our order. When we started eating it, the sandwich was very bland. No taste at all! It was mainly bread. I had to add my own pickles. We are extremely disappointed because we recently had two people recommend this place. I am hoping this was an off day. Regardless, we will not be returning or encouraging others to try it.

Although I don’t have photos of the appetizers, it’s probably some of our favorite things to eat here. My family ate them before I could snap a photo! We usually get fried yucca and fried plantain chips. They’re great! This is authentic Cuban food. I usually get the Enchilada pescado (fish is red sauce) dish and it’s great! I took some photos of the other dishes my family had for their main meal. We love this place and eat there at least once a month. Also be warned, if you order coffee, Cuban coffee is very different from what you may be use to. It tends to be served very sweet. That aside I highly recommend this place.

Been coming with my parents since my youngest was 3 years old. My parents are both passed, and my daughter is now 16. The 4 star is for the service not the food. Our appetizers were good but a little cold. Not what I've come to expect. Our main course was excellent. Just what I expected. Flavorful, hot. Great taste. Just like my mom used to cook. I highly recommend and I'll be back.

My husband and I stumbled on this place and were instantly smitten. We had the Fricase de Pollo and Masas de Puerco Fritas. Everything was bursting with flavor and the atmosphere was pleasant and homely. We noticed more people coming in for takeaway than were dining in, reflecting how popular this place is so I wouldn't judge it by the open parking lot. This was a fantastic find!

Very nice people. Terrible food. I had the steak, and while flavorful, it tasted like fake meat. It has the weirdest soft gummy texture. Tasted very processed, like the lunch mear version of steak. If youve ever read about that meat that is glued together, I'm positive that is what they use (google it). But they charged like real meat. I felt sick to my stomach. I did not finish and I did not take a to go box. Rice was bland a well. Service was slow. I literally was the only person in there for awhile and it still took forever. But she was very nice as was manager/owner Will not be back

Food was just ok. The Cuban way appetizer is ok. The Cuban sandwiches weren’t so good. Being from Miami this place needs more quality and flavor. The restaurant is a little hot. Waiters were nice but are understaffed. I guess it’s a good place to try at least once if you never had Cuban food.

A hidden gem! Waitress was very friendly and accommodated me wanting to substitute items. I ended up getting the Cuban sandwich with fried plantains. I can honestly say that this was the best sandwich I have ever had out of ANY sandwich, not just a Cuban. Also the fried plantains were perfectly sweet and soft on the inside and fried just right on the outside. I can not wait to go back and try something eles!! Woyld absolutely recommend to anyone that loves food!

The food was delicious! It took longer than expected to get my food; the waitress did check on me while I waited.

This place gets an extra star because of their authenticity! If you are looking for an authentic taste of Cuba, come to Caribbean Cuba! My husband and I are from South Florida, where Cuban cuisine is a mainstay. We have been looking for Cuban flavor since we moved here. Today, we struck GOLD. I had the pollo a la plancha with black beans, rice, and maduros, drizzled with fresh squeezed lime. The savory marinade of the chicken paired with the sweet char or the Mmaduro and the tart acid of the lime created a Fiesta in my mouth! I simply couldnt stop lifting the fork! I had the lunch portion, but it was large enough that I needed a Togo box. My husband had the Bistec de Palomilla at the suggestion of our waitress, Yilena. We spent the meal trying to decide whose plate was better (mine of course!). But his plate was delicious also. We also tried the Yuca cheese bites, since we had never had anything like these, and we are glad we did! This unusual appetizer featured a layer of fried yuca with a creamy, melted cheese center. We will definitely have these again when we come back with our kids. This place gets my vote over and over. I cannot wait to go back! It is a hole in the wall wonder!

The service was great and very attentive servers. The food was good. The price was affordable. It was just a 4/5 dining experience for me. It was just an ordinary Cuban restaurant.

The menu offered a wide range of traditional Cuban dishes, and I was excited to try as much as I could. I ordered the "Fricase de Puerco", a pork-based dish that was packed with flavor and perfectly seasoned. The pork was tender and juicy, and the sauce was smooth and delicious. The sauce had a rich, savory flavor which complemented the pork. The ingredients used in every dish were fresh and high-quality, and it was evident that the chefs had put a lot of care and attention into preparing each dish. The service was also top-notch. The staff were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, and were happy to make recommendations and answer any questions that I had. Overall, I highly recommend Caribbean Cuba restaurant to anyone who is looking for a unique and delicious dining experience. Whether you're a fan of Cuban cuisine or just looking to try something new, you won't be disappointed by the flavorful and authentic dishes at this restaurant. The combination of delicious food, great service, and lively atmosphere make Caribbean Cuba a must-visit spot.

This is a great Cuban restaurant with authentic Cuban cuisine, possibly the best Cuban food around north Dallas!

Wow! The decor inside is very nice and the food was exceptional. I really liked the freshly toasted and buttered bread that was brought out before our orders. I had the Asada Puerco and my friend had the Cuban sandwich. The pork was simply season but really good flavor. The beans were excellent! I got to try a bit of the Cuban and it was also very good!

07/27/2023 I was craving a Cuban sandwich terribly. I found this place on Google Maps that had good reviews. The restaurant was clean and the server attentive. The $11.99 sandwich with fries was terrible though. No flavor and very bland. No mustard either. The pork was flavorless greyish meat. No sazon, complete seasoning or adobe really??? Putting salt on the sandwich did not help! 😮 The bread wasn't grilled until crispy either. Very disappointed. 😥
