This
park
may
be
small
but
it
is
big
on
relaxing
and
enjoying
nature.
The
campsites
are
a
little
close
together
but
we
weren't
too
bothered
by
neighbors.
We
saw
a
beaver,
armadillos,
raccoons,
deer
and
tons
of
dragon
flies.
Caught
a
couple
of
fish
but
nothing
to
write
home
about.
The
sites
we
had
were
very
unlevel.
Other
than
that,
they
were
nice
and
spacious
sites.
Tables
are
not
covered.
There
are
not
many
trails
and
they
are
pretty
easy
without
much
elevation
change.
They
do
have
a
park
store
with
some
souvenirs.
All
of
the
park
employees
were
super
nice
and
informative.
There
are
2
fishing
piers
pretty
close
together.
1
is
lighted
and
the
other
is
not.
There
is
a
lighted
cleaning
station
nearby.
There
is
also
a
large
day
use
area
for
swimming,
picnics
and
launching
vessels.
This
is
a
no
wake
lake
which
also
adds
to
the
peacefulness.
The
night
sky
was
beautiful
although
there
is
some
light
pollution.
We
very
much
enjoyed
our
stay.
