A great place for bakery items, especially dessert. We bought the strawberry mousse and it was one of the best ones in the neighborhood. The folks loved it. Every time we plan on buying cakes we go to 85°C. They never disappoint us. Their buns are as great as their cakes. The tarts are delicious as well. The most important thing is, their quality is consistent for all their locations, which makes them a great business as well.

This location has the same great quality and flavor as other 85°C I've visited. I guess due to the pandemic, it was pretty empty considering how popular and packed these franchise bakeries tend to be. We were there around 5 pm. We ordered chocolate buns, wheat mushroom pastry, coconut twist, chocolate croissant, rose cheese, egg tarts, and other breads. All were very tasty! They also offer cakes and drinks.

My husband and I always stop in here after having lunch/dinner at Jeng Chi. They have a nice selection of beverages, buns and pastries/cakes. The cakes are sold by the slice or whole. Fortunately, every time we’ve been they’ve been fully stocked. We’ve tried almost all of their buns at this point - some are great but others not so much. The marble taro bun (sweet) and red bean bun (savory) are both light, fluffy and delicious. Service is now take out only and no public restrooms.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE 85⁰C Bakery! They always have fresh offerings with a great variety and very high quality. The pastries/buns are self serve but everything is wrapped in little bags so contamination is minimized. The cakes are always delightful! My favorite is the Deluxe Strawberry. I can't explain the frosting in words that convey just how amazing it is. If you read the description, it's "just" whipped cream but 85⁰C's whipped cream is made from clouds (don't tell them I told you their secret). It's super light, fluffy and airy but it's not sweet. The rest of the cake components all come together in a beautiful chorus of flavor letting each one of those speak to you instead of an over bearing frosting. I also love their chocolate mousse cake. It is very rich so you better love chocolate! The dusting of Cocoa powder on top provides a nice hint of bitter that cuts the sweet from the rest of the dessert nicely (listen to me go on like I'm the connoisseur of cakes) no but really, my point is that everything is such a perfect blend of sweet and not sweet that it's an enjoyable experience! Try everything, you won't be disappointed! Not only do they have food but they also have an assortment of teas, Mills and coffees. Download the app for special deals. Things to note: You can dine in though there are only 2-3 tables. I don't recall highchairs so if you're dining with a small child, keep that in mind. The restrooms are open and it's a single restroom that is wheelchair accessible. Everything is pretty wheelchair accessible except for around the self-serve pastry area, it might be a tight squeeze and things might be out of reach. They do accept tap to pay at this location. You can buy an ENTIRE cake! They even give you a cake cutter! (I saved the best for last) In my photos: Whole cakes: Strawberry Deluxe, Black Forrest and Chocolate Mousse cake Individual servings: Chocolate Mousse Cake and the Royal Chocolate cup.

This bakery is really spacious, but the placement of the pastries is weird. Everyone crowds to the baked goods to the left of the door and then there's an area you could stand and eat, and then you pay around the corner. However, everything was relatively inexpensive. The most expensive item I got was the mango Panna cotta. It was good, but the mango definitely needed to ripen and get sweeter. It was not ripe yet. The garlic bread and sausage bread were ok... they are really sweet and one note. The sweet baked goods and the potato croquettes are delicious though. The vietnamese ice coffee was so good, definitely recommend this drink!

An oasis in Richardson! I initially came in for some boba tea and was welcomed by the extensive bakery section! I picked up a lot of baked goods. The atmosphere is inviting and an employee Richard was so kind and took time to explain a lot of the items to my family and I.

Ordered a Birthday Black Forest cake for my kid and picked up today a "Happy Father's Day" Cake instead and was told there was no Birthday Cake design for this Black Florest cake and just gave me a little birthday tag. No apology. Did not even provide any Cake cutter. Extremely disappointed. Maybe just thier way of getting rid of thier Father's day design since today is already Father's day.

Overall the cake tastes good and fresh and it is on time for pick up. The only issue is it looks different than what’s showing online. The ube cake is all white actually while it looks pale purple on the button which is prettier in the online picture

Do you suffer from a sweet tooth? Then make your way over to any 85°C and your craving will be filled. I love their cake selection! Affordably priced and the quality is phenomenal. They do not carry overly sweet goods; rather it's a light perfectly balanced series of pastries. Even the icing is creamy and light. The apple danish is soft and delicious if you can warm it up for 30 seconds. If you need a quick Al a carte box of baked goods the self service is their most winning trait. On the coffee front that sea salt coffee is my go to and it's not overly sweet so it's perfect to pair with the pastries.

This bakery is awesome 👍. It might be the best in town. I highly recommend it. I had the Mango creme brulee shown in the picture below. It was delicious. I am definitely coming back for more on their menu. I was really impressed.

Very disappointing. Today I have bought the mango creme brûlée cake at this cafe. For the presentation thumbs up! But the taste - oh my God! NO TASTE AT ALL! Where is the crème brûlée?! Also, if it is a mango cake - why wouldn't you have a crushed mango in the icing (and not just the added color 🙉) so it actually would TASTE LIKE MANGO ?! Guys, this is the worst mango cake I've ever tasted. 😭So disappointing, because yours other stuff is really good.

One of my besties who lives in Richardson bought me and a bunch of other visitors a ton of pastries to try for breakfast from this bakery! They were yummy and fun. Obviously can't speak to price, atmosphere, or service, but I can speak to food, and that's the most important thing. I tried a custard bun, another with a sort of creamy, lemony filling, and a piece of chocolate cream roll (like a Swiss cake roll). The best item was the custard bun! It was super soft and the custard was ample, creamy and with a pleasant light vanilla flavor. I'd give it like a 4.5/5. My next favorite was the other custard-y one. I'm honestly not entirely sure how it was supposed to be different from the custard bun other than a very faint lemony taste. However, this one had way less filling, and therefore it wasn't as good. It was still probably a 4/5 though because the flavor of the cream/custard was delicious (just wish there was more) and the bread was soft. My least favorite item was the chocolate Swiss roll. It was a little dry and for me, not chocolatey enough. I'd give it a 3/5. I understand this bakery is a franchise. I'd totally be down to visit one if I ever come across it in the future after this experience. Thanks for a yummy breakfast!

This place is amazing! They are always stocking the shelf with delicious pastries! The garlic cheese bread is my absolute favorite along with all of the taro options.

Lots of seasonal treats to indulge in. My fave has been the sweet bun stuffed with mango custard, the mango wasn't too sweet and didn't taste like extract, there were mango bits and chunks in the custard. I wanted to try their ube bread but they were sold out, it's one of their more popular breads. The cakes are amazing too, the mango creme brulee was sooo delicious i could eat a whole cake!!

With one of the most unique and stylish seatings, with well crafted coffee drinks and mixes like latte and cappuccinos - The 85C Bakery Cafe has nailed their name on the Wall Of Fame in the Dallas metro. The taste of their pastries is incredible while the keys of their latte’s ingredients is beyond expectations.

Always like visiting this bakery to see what's new. Mochi egg tart was surprisingly good. Should be a permanent item.
