Decent place for casual dinner and drinks. Food is consistent and better than most bar and grill type places. Usually busy and loud, not much for noise dampening in this place.

The location we went to is in the Firewheel shopping center. It always looks cool walking by with it's lively bar scene and upbeat music. Me and my husband went in for a night out and decided to go before a movie at AMC, which is within walking distance. The host will need to scan your ID at the door since it is a bar, then you seat yourself. The bar is very large and in the center of the room with seating all around. There are pub tables and regular tables around the perimeter. Most people were opting for the bar or pub table seating. We like places that have low lighting and music but if loud music bothers you then you may not like this place. Right before we left a DJ started playing. It seems like they alternate between speaker music, DJs, live music and karaoke. We showed up at the end of the happy hour and tried 4 different martinis on the happy hour list. All of them were perfect. Then we tried the spinach artichoke dip on the happy hour menu and although it was good, it was cold. The service wasn't slow so I'm not sure how long the happy hour special's we're prepared in advance and had just been sitting. Then we shared the Spiked Bulleit Burger with loaded tots. This also showed up at the right time but was also cold. The flavor was great but why was everything cold? Our water was always stopping by and making sure we had enough water and was friendly. We realized that we still had quite a bit of time to kill so ordered the only dessert on the menu, a slice of chocolate cake. We waited and waited but nothing. So my husband found the waiter, cancelled the cake and we paid. We're not sure if the food issue was the waiter or the kitchen. For a bar that really pushes its food, they need to work on the food temps and timing. We even saw a Bar Louie commercial at the theater that pushed it's gastropub theme. Overall it's a cool place with all adult ages. The atmosphere is cool and the staff is nice. They need to work on the food quality and get rid of the regular tables. People were avoiding them and would wait for pub tables to be cleaned.

First time visiting a Bar Louie ever. Brought my wife and daughter for an early dinner during 50% off burger day! Tuesdays by the way. Rafael was our server and he was awesome! Very informative with the menu and any and all specials they had at that time. With it being our first time, we had many questions and he had the patience and answers for all of them! Great guy! We never waited for anything from our drinks to our condiments. Great atmosphere, even for kids! Very inclusive! Great job Bar Louie and Rafael! We will definitely be back!!

Wow, we wanted to go to Bar Louie many times, but we went to another restaurant. Today, we went there.. it was not good AT ALL. I had a sweet chicken sandwich and it was awful. It was crazy spice or something, maybe the deep fryer oil. The fries had the same taste. But it was not good, hopefully tonight or tomorrow I will give you the verdict… lol will post after..

Roberto was our server during our visit at bar Louie and he provided great customer service. For a last minute choice to get out of the house it was refreshing to have and exceptional experience from Roberto! Thank you keep up the great work! Your service has earned Bar Louie a return customer

Food was good. Very loud place. Another open cieling business that echoes so loud you can barely talk to anyone without yelling. Server was very overwhelmed seemed like he was the only one on duty. Overworked and understaffed as most places now a days. Southern fried chicken was really good except for being served on a metal tray instead of a ceramic plate. In the back of my mind I felt like I was eating at least a little metal.....but overall it was ok

My experience was a little different from most I ordered a drink and the bartender took a little long getting it to me by time I finished getting 3 drinks he paid for it. So the drinks I'd give 4 out 5 but the service was fantastic still worth checking out as a go to Friday or Saturday pregame night bar

We decided to stop here for Valentine’s Day last minute. As greeted, an extremely rude host (male) said that we couldn’t sit at that table cause it was reserved, even with no sign. We didn’t even get a response in because he kept going on about how busy they are and that they only had two servers and it’s crazy. We almost left, which is what I think his goal for us was.. but, I wanted an impossible burger. So we went to the bar. The bartender was so sweet and great, and kept calm in the chaos. She was the only bartender for a busy restaurant and bar top. The apple drink was AMAZING and they gave me extra apple chips. I can’t even begin to explain how amazing this impossible burger was y’all…. 10/10 cook. Came out super quick and hot as well! Overall a good experience besides the rude host or busboy. Would definitely suggest hiring another bartender for holidays, especially a holiday where everyone goes on a date. Give your cook a raise and the bartender!!

Been hearing nothing but good about this place for a long time and finally got the chance to check it out. Very inviting and professional staff. Decor was really nice and facility was extremely clean. Bartender knew what she was doing and food was all spot on. Best part of my visit was when check came and total was way less than had expected and for the experience we had and service received its gonna be hard to beat. Thank you Bar Louie and see yall again soon.

Attended a pop-up game night at the Firewheel location. Wonderful time! Will definitely go again. Staff and bartenders were great.

I’m not one to leave a negative review, but I feel it is necessary to do so in this instance due to the disrespectful and dismissive way in which myself, my family and my close friends were recently treated at this location. We had just left the AMC movie theater and walked past 4 other restaurants with the intent to dine and enjoy our evening at one of our preferred locations. We were then met with the GM, James Slaughter, who was quick to tell us that our party would not be served and fed before 10pm as there “ no service for minors under 21 rule” was being enforced at that time. Mind you it wasn’t evening 9:00 yet!! Looking around the restaurant, there was abundant seating in the front and back of the restaurant, and a large party was being hosted by another group with plenty of children and it appeared to be a child’s birthday party. At this point our husband’s and children had left to go to another restaurant, but my cousins and I were gravely offended by the way we were being treated and wanted to speak with James again. He then purposely sends out Jace (the kitchen manager and a female) to come and speak with us. We asked her why he wouldn’t come, and she said he preferred her to handle the situation. This just offended us further! My cousins and I were being very respectful and professional and just wanted a better explanation from him. It’s not like the place was packed or that it was close to ten o’clock; we could have been seated, had more than enough time to order, eat and drink by 10:00! The way we were treated was just insulting, I’d even say discriminating.This used to be a favorite go to bar and hang out spot, but after this treatment, I will NOT be returning to this location ever again!!!

I didn't get a drink, but the flavors of the good were weak. The fish needed salt and the music was louder than was pleasant, but or waiter was nice and the food came fairly prompt. Not a lot of presentation.

Never had a bad experience here. Love it and keep coming back. It's the only bar that I will go to alone if no one is available to hang out with me. Excellent food and service. Outstanding drink selection. I'll keep coming back until I die.
