Seats torn on bar stoles. Not very clean. Mainly for smokers. Restrooms dirty.... beer pricey... hopefully things change. It would be a good place to hangout

Not from TX but the place was poppin. Good amount of pool tables and dart boards. The only thing I did not like was that they allow smoking in the place. Not a smoker so it bothered me a little the next day.

Actually no stars for me. We have lived in the neighborhood for 7 years now. Always wanted to check it out but never did. Our 21 year old daughter asked if we wanted to go check it out? We go in sat at a table 3 of us. Close to the bar. People at the bar standing around talking. They saw us when we walked in never spoke to us at all. It was 5pm on a Wednesday. We sat there for 30 minutes workers kept looking at us but no one ever came to our table to see what we wanted. Nothing. So we got up and left. Worse place every. Now we know why we never checked this place out. It sucks not friendly at all very rude people there.

Bartenders are ruder. Balls kept getting stuck in the pool tables. There was man there owner or manager and he felt as though talking is better then assisting staff and helping get caught up so the one person with keys could help. Waited on a ball for 30mins 2x poor service.

Been drinking here for 11 years and always enjoyed it, picked up a few gorgeous female friends I still talk to this day, bartenders are cute AF, drinks reasonably priced, the quintessential Garland Tx dive bar. Check it out, it's great.

Great karaoke spot with a lively entertaining customers. This place was packed and we enjoyed a great evening. We actually had dinner before going to scooter so I did not simple any of their food but those accompanying me enjoy the drinks immensely.

We celebrated my son and my brother's birthday there last week.

Went on karaoke night. Got there at 9. Karaoke was supposed to start at 9:30. I don't get to do a lot of karaoke much and I had to be at work at 11:30. The karaoke DJ was not interested in doing karaoke when I left and that was at 11:15. There's no point in showing up for karaoke because they have no desire to make it happen. Song choices are very limited too. Just a place to hang out for the local thugs and degenerates.

Love this place because it's the real deal: Garland, Texas. Felt right at home playing pool, people watching, listening to music. Going back.

Came in to buy some dart supplies and stayed for some beers. Clean, laid-back place. They have steel tip dart boards and pool tables. Very spacious.

Scooters is just a whole vibe if you're really looking to have a good night and might come across some good people then scooters is where you want to be at the pool tables are awesome the staff are great the bartenders love to make pick me drinks and to pick me drink is just when I say you pick out a drink for me and the people who actually go and have a good time are the life of the bar and grill my thing is are we going to scooters or no lol because I'm ready when you are

Karaoke was fun, some halfway decent singers and lots of people just having a good time doing their very best. The service is pretty horrible as far as the wait staff. Bartenders seem to be much better. The pricing takes a bit of explanation and it would be nice if they explained upfront if you're not a regular. Smoking is allowed which was surprising. Not sure I would go back a second time, just because the wait staff is either under-resourced or unqualified.

I hadn't stepped foot in Scooters in probably 23-24 years. I was pleasantly surprised that they have continued for so long to keep the atmosphere that I loved years ago. Many moons ago, I followed the owner and crowd from a previous bar on the lake when this location opened. It was my go-to joint for years until I moved away. The crowd was super friendly and the energy was awesome. I was so glad to have stopped by on Saturday.

Great place to have a drink and play pool

I was pleasantly surprised with the place. The bar isn't normally my scene but the bartender was very nice. My friend and I shot some pool and the food was excellent.

Ordered nachos worst thing ever. Soaggy just nasty. Told bartender replaced them. But the second batch was worse🤮 and they did nothing about it. Been going for years ... wont do that again

I tried this place for pool and drinks. Unfortunately this guy came up to me at 725pm stating that he needs the table for league. I just started a game but he said you need to get off at 730pm. I explained to him I was new and I don’t know the rules but can he show me a sign that says I have to get off. He could not but start getting mad in a threatening way. Not sure if he was a employee of this place or just running a wanna be a pool player league.

Best "divey" bar in the Garland area. Tons of pool tables and cheap drinks. Mike, Alana, and Brittney are awesome. Come here all the time and all the bartenders are awesome. Definitely the place you should be a regular at.

Not a bad place if you just wanna get drunk, bank some balls around, and sweat your backside off. But if your a serious pool player, just go somewhere else. Not sure why they keep having APA masters championships there, but the tables are probably some of the worst around and everyone has to bring their own fans because it's so hot and humid. Guessing someone is getting a kickback for having it there.

The place looks clean an atmosphere relaxing ,however,poor waitstaff.Iv visited twice and both times the waitstaff just stared at my husband and I without offering to ask us what we wanted to drink.The bartender was the one who took out order, what a shame but won't be returning,definitely did not feel welcome.

The bar is OK but the waitress that serve us was ridiculous she didn't know how to charge $ 4,50 for two beers. Too bad I don't have the receipt with me but if I will find I will repost.

Here for City championship every year for pool. Food is great, drinks are heavy handed. The balls are a mix between aromith and cheap bar balls. Worst part of city is the heat, this place gets dangerous hot. Went to city here the last 3 weekends, we ended up putting tarps in large windows and buying several battery operated fans.

Had a lot of fun, staff is great they are really friendly. Good drinks my hubby and I recently moved here and we wanted to go to karaoke night somewhere and ended up here we had a blast 💥

The drinks are pretty good, you definitely leave feeling perfect. The onion rings and chicken wings are really good as well. Very fresh food!! Music is what it should be for the crowd, karaoke is fun!!

Aeriel is the best bartender very understanding. I was having a bad day and I’m a regular up at scooters everyone knows me (Haley) I was having the worst day and aeriel came gave me a hug and took time to speak to me. She has a good heart and will go far in your company. I barely knew her first time meeting her here and she took good care of me and took time to speak to me when I was crying and down and out she has a good heart and good at her job !! Don’t let her go ever, you got a good one she’s very genuine and she’s a hard worker you scored a good one!!!!! Will continue to return for her!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Alana is has always been the best since day one she’s very caring and always takes care of me and takes time to listen to me when I’m down I’m loosing my mom etc have a lot going on but she listens and always prompt taking care of me she has such a good heart y’all won gold by hiring her! Stopped here with a friend. Mixed crowd of all ages- nice to see. Lots of pool tables, karaoke, a candy man...food looked and smelled really good- we didn't get any though. Smoking permitted inside.
