This is a really lovely museum. My husband and I zoomed through in about two hours. If you have children with you (which would truly be perfect) you’ll want to plan on longer. You’re taken up to start the adventure on the fourth floor via escalator. There are elevators available if needed. It’s very easy to follow the flow of the layout so you don’t miss anything. Tons of hands-on activities along the way.

This is an amazing musuem. Parking wasn't great but well worth it. I wish we had longer. It got a bit busy but we were still able to experience any of the exhibits. They have science labs with short experiments, new interactive exhibits everywhere. The fossils here are very impressive. I can't want to go back. If it seems expensive, its worth it, just plan a lot stay. Basement level with Sports was my favorite and not as crowded.

Lots of great exhibits. Different interactive exhibits. I wouldn't suggest going on a weekend like I did today. Very crowded and hard to maneuver at times. I still enjoyed the different displays and info about each thing.

Make sure and get your timed tickets before going! We were late getting them and ended up with a 12:30 time slot. But it was amazing. Floor after floor of amazing interactive exhibits that you can easily take all day to see. It took us four hours and I felt like we were moving pretty quickly. My four kids (ages 3-10 years old) loved the dinosaurs and robotic areas the best, but really it was all fantastic! We will be back to explore even more.

This museum is a bit of an oddity to me. It doesn’t quite seem to know what it’s target audience is. With so many exhibits having to be read and are non interactive, I feel it isn’t really geared towards younger children. It struggles to really capture their attention. Because to be fair….even as an adult…I zoned out on quite a lot of the exhibits. The Dino area, was definitely the most interesting. Whereas the section on human biology was very small and the one interesting exhibit consisted of slices of the human body. The mineral section was also pretty neat, and the gemstones very beautiful and interesting. Also the oddest thing to me….was the promotion and amount of museum space dedicated to the oil industry. I know this is a natural science museum and that’s a subject of nature, but it felt a bit weird. The layout of everything was also quite odd, and didn’t flow well. Several bottlenecks of foot traffic form as a result of this. All in all, it’s decent and a good way to spend time, however I feel more interactive exhibits are needed. I may come back should it get new exhibits and see if it’s improved.

Educators can get in free when you sign up online and show proof of your credentials. People on certain specific government programs can get a $1.00 ticket. I think there are 1st Responder and Military discounts as well. Parking is $10.00 per a vehicle nearby in a covered parking garage area with a guard at the pay booth upon exiting. Nine of us went for $28.00 counting 2 vehicles with discounts. There is was a short line if you were buying tickets there, but we bought ours online and had a no hassle no line entry. There is an area which is partially shaded outside the facility with xylophones to try out, plastic alligators for kids to climb on, and a shallow water kiddie area to play in if too hot. A change of clothes is recommended if getting wet. I was impressed with the amount of security inside of the facility and enjoyed it. Make sure to check out all levels and especially the interactive children's museum one floor below the entry level. We brought lunch and ate outside before entry. The drinks are $3.50 to $7.00 depending on what you get if buying from the Cafe on site. There is pricy food there for purchase as well as a gift shop. Counting eating we spent about 3.5 hours there but walked quite slowly to enjoy the exhibits and participated in interactive things to do on nearly level. Make sure to be a dinosaur dancer to the music. That was pretty fun.

What a wonderful experience at the Perot Museum! We really enjoyed our visit. The museum is very family and kid-friendly and a great place to bring the kiddos. They have many exhibits and activities that taylor to the kids with hands-on activities. We stopped by on an early Sunday afternoon, and the museum was not terribly crowded, which gave us time to explore and really enjoy the exhibits. The dinosaur exhibit and the Minerals Room were my favorite. It's not as large as some of the nature and science museums I have visited, but it is definitely worth a visit. It's a nice way to spend some time learning about nature, science, and history. They offer plenty of parking, a food court so you can get drinks and items to eat, the staff is very friendly and helpful, and I recommend watching one of the short movies they offer. It is a stop I highly recommend!

Great play area for kids on the lower level, each floor has its big hit, though floor 4 has a ton of fun activities! Took our little one and had a blast. Only reason for 4 stars is because their additional Lego exhibit was an extra $8 and I find that to be a bit pricey for what you get. Only reason it’d be worth it is if you have a little builder to sit and build in a somewhat dimly lot ballroom. Wish they would make these included in the price. Other note is that they’re pretty strict about mask wearing - apparently “science” is a marketing ploy ;).

This massive hands on museum is a perfect way to beat the heat! The indoor areas are filled with amazing and interactive exhibits. Our family loved exploring the facility. Just big enough to spend a full day here but each floor is well monitored enough to let the kids wander a bit. All of the staff members were kind, knowledgeable and welcoming into each room/activity/program. We had lunch here and we were so thankful for some really nice food options! We tried the pizza, burger, pretzels, and chicken. Covered parking ($5/$10 for non members) keeps the car cool when it's time to head home. If you have the chance to visit you should!

Yet another amazing Dallas museum, one that I was admittedly excited to visit beforehand so I already had a positive bias going in. That being said, I was not disappointed at all by the museum. Particular highlights include the fossil exhibits, live viewing of fossil restoration, bird exhibit, interactive tornado simulator, interactive plasma simulator and the texas regional exhibits. The museum was very clean, masks are required as of August 2021 (a rule which is enforced with security/police) walkways are spacious, restrooms are clean and have contact-free doorhandles, and entering with prepaid tickets just requires scanning the code on your phone. Very impressive architecture both inside and outside of the museum, with several great views of the Dallas skyline available throughout the museum. The curators ought to be very proud, this museum is very well-kept and the exhibits are educational, easy to read/understand and interesting, will be coming back here for sure.

Fun place with loads to do, even my 3 year old loves it. There's something for everyone. It is a little expensive. Parking is $10. The children's area is amazing and could spend all day just in this part. There are also giant frogs and music making outside in the front. Stroller friendly and plenty of clean bathrooms. The Cafe is really good. We love the pizza and it's at a decent price.

We spent a decent amount of time here exploring but it was difficult to navigate with all of the school groups that were there. It was very crowded and felt like we couldn’t truly experience and take all the exhibits in. However, I was super impressed with the minerals room. So many unique and breathtaking pieces that I haven’t seen at other museums. There was a lot of hands on stuff for my child to do and learn as well.

What a great museum. Lots of interesting exhibits. Some interactive. Great place to bring the kids. Perfect place for all ages. We went for during the Lego towers of tomorrow..so cool! The minerals and gems exhibit is a must see! Even outside there were things to see. Beautiful building insufferable and out.

Date night adventures brought us to the Perot Museum for the summer, 21+ Thursdays On Tap after hours events! Purchasing tickets online in advance was a breeze. Parking was plentiful and the event itself was incredibly well organized. The food truck selection rotates each Thursday. This week it was Mexican, sandwiches and a BBQ truck. We opted for BBQ and the couple with us opted for Mexican. Both great choices! The beer and wine stations were plentiful both outside and in. We were able to bring drinks inside the museum, so that was a treat! A few yard games were set up in the courtyard and a live musician was performing some classic 80s and 90s hits. Loved it! Inside the museum were great interactive exhibits, and best of all - we weren’t elbow to elbow with a bunch of people. A nice, steady stream of 21+ made this a super enjoyable experience. My fav is the dinosaur portions and the engineering floor. We laughed and played like kids at the facial recognition section and the robotics pit. Excellent event, great museum. We are already planning another visit in a month or so since we couldn’t see it all!

A big thanks to The Perot Museum for trusting us with their entertainment with face painting and glitter tattoo services for their Member/Donor event. Upon arrival, we were all warmly welcomed by the awesome manager and her staff who guided us on the evening’s event and showed us where to setup all the face painters and glitter tattoo artists. Throughout the evening, The Perot Museum's staff checked on their guests and all the activities to make sure everything was running smoothly. Thanks to your staff's efforts, all the parents were grateful that the lines were moving so fast! It was certainly one of the most extraordinary and well-organized events we have been part of. The donors and members were a pleasure to work with. We love events with active lines that move fast - (we received some excellent requests for face painting after the show). It was marvelous for our team to do work we love in such a spectacular setting. We are truly grateful for the opportunity to entertain your guests!

My family visited the museum on a Saturday for my sons 13th birthday. We purchased tickets prior for the 11:00 time slot. Let me start with saying I was surprised by how busy this museum was. It was SO crowded-and it’s a big museum! I guess I expected it to not be given the need to purchase tickets for “social distancing”. My son aspires to be a paleontologist so he really wanted to take his time going through the museum and soak it all in, but the amount of people just made that nearly impossible. We also paid an extra $8 for a 3D “movie” that was just a 20 minute show. (These two reasons why only 4 stars) Otherwise, the museum itself is really cool. There are so many awesome exhibits! Be sure to wear you’re walking shoes.. Lots of ground to cover!!

SO MUCH FUN!!!! I thought it might be a little bit too much for my 2-year-old, but I was WRONG! It was great! The only problem was we didn't have enough time to see everything! I remember loving it when I was a kid, but I think it's only gotten better with time! There's a children's area downstairs that was so much fun, and then lots of interactive exhibits that were perfect for ALL ages. There was something for everyone, and we can't wait to go back to see more!

We enjoyed our visit to the Perot museum today. Everyone was required to wear masks and schedule a tour time in order to space everybody apart. My favorite area was the geology section because they had so many beautiful minerals and rocks on display. Many, perhaps 60% of the interactive displays were not working, so couldn’t be used. Also, the tiny section on Texas Instruments was in need of a revamping. There’s many interesting things that could have been included which people would have found interesting. Also, I really thought the human body display could have been done better - there were only three cross-sections, and we had to read a separate laminated sheet to pin point the body parts. Overall, we enjoyed our visit, but they do have plenty of room for improvement. It took about 2 hours to see the exhibits.

The museum is awesome and has a great architectural value, I recommend a visit. Mineral and crystals collection is fantastic, not to mention the surprising fossils. The dinosaur spine fossil will blow your mind. It’s a unique exhibition suited both for adults and kids with a lot of interactive stations for the young visitors to practice science and live the experience.

This museum was SO fun. The kids enjoyed it and we were NOT disappointed! So glad we made the trip to Dallas for this! We had family visiting and they thoroughly enjoyed their time here. Lots of interactives and activities. Many learning opportunities here for children and adults. Definitely recommend getting their earlier so that you have about 2-4 hours to see everything!

This place is really cool. Great for kids but I loved it just as much even though I went by myself as a 32-year-old. They have an impressive collection of gemstones and crystal. Definitely worth dropping by if you're in the area. I recommend doing this and the Dallas Museum of Art together on the same day. Pay for parking all day in their $10 parking lot, then walk over to the Dallas Museum of Art.

A great little gem of a museum! There is so much to see and do in this museum you could spend hours inside. I’ve been here for a few school field trips as well as just a family day the last visit August 2021. My favorite area is the dinosaur section. They have an amazing selection of fossils and information! My toddler was amazed! The gem/crystal/mineral area is also just gorgeous to look at. There are hands on things for the kids to do/try as well. I would say trying to go during the week would be better due to less crowding. The gift shop is great and has reasonable pricing. They also have a cafe that is pretty decent! The children’s play area down in the bottom of the building is a must if you have littles. So much to see and do! It’s absolutely adorable in there!

There are so many amazing, beautiful, and interesting things there to see. It's such a great and fun way to learn new things. I and my hubby had so much fun lol. I can already imagine how much the kiddos will enjoy it. There are also fun activities the employees provide, today we made finger bird puppets! I highly recommend it, especially for families.

If you enjoy dinosaurs (and who doesn’t?) this museum is for you. They have a wonderful fossil display including the biggest sauropod I’ve seen in person. It makes the T-Rex look like a velociraptor. They also have an excellent minerals room. The museum also has many interactive displays so there’s a lot to keep everyone entertained. I went on a weekday and it was still busy, so if you don’t want the crowds I’d suggest going early on a weekday.

This is a fun museum! We visited on a Friday afternoon, and this is definitely a popular place for school groups. The kids seemed to be heading out around 2:00, so if you are looking for a calmer experience the later afternoon may be best! The second, third, and fourth floors are full of interesting exhibits. The various levels have wonderful views of the Dallas city, and the museum is highly interactive. Parking is $10, and easily accessible. The cafe has some reasonably priced options if you are looking for a quick bite!

We enjoyed our time at the museum. The experience was very informative and some great interactive activities for the kids. I really enjoyed the dinosaurs and Fossils exhibit and the process of an actual person cleaning excavated Fossils for future exhibit. I also loved the gems and minerals hall. I loved looking at how the rocks looked like before making them into gems for jewelry. Awesome rocks. I was disappointed some of the exhibits were closed due to Covid. I would recommend this place for your family.

Very fun and entertaining exhibition to attend with the family. I was quite surprised with how many interactive activities they offer that were very fun, awesome earthquake simulator, battle bots, Lego builds, balance test, hang test, 3D simulations and the list can go on forever. Seriously. All the exhibits were very engaging and knowledgeable, the displays were amazing. I would most definitely attend again and even bring family for a great experience who are visiting. Weather your an adult couple or hanging with the kiddos you’ll have a great time here exploring and learning.

Everyone wore masks, and hand sanitizer was provided upon arrival at the entrance. The entire experience was really cool, quite a bit of fossils I was impressed! Just about every display had an interactive touch display. Touched a little on space. The rocks and minerals were breathtaking and the kid zones were actually a lot of fun. The gift shop was pricey, but worth a visit if not some purchases

Amazing place. My 10 year and 8 year old, both enjoyed all the four floors in the museum. They have a sports centre on lower level for older kids and play area for preschoolers. They had sanitizing stations every where and we saw the staff cleaning the stations every now and then. Social distancing was maintained and everyone was with Mask On all time.. Highly recommend

FREE for military. Plenty of parking in a structure or lot across the street, very close to the entrance. Parking was $10. Such an interesting museum, and tons to learn. There were 3 levels of the museum, and plenty of interactive activities to do, though some did not work. The fossils are incredible to look at and the mineral gallery they have is beautiful. Today's visit was so much fun! We started off by buying tickets online which I had selected 10am when I thought I selected 10:30am time slot. I emailed support immediately and they rectified the situation seamlessly! Once we arrived, we found signs clearly marking "Museum Parking" for $10 which was conveniently located beside the Perot. Masks are required but if you don't have one, they will provide one once you walk inside the door. You walk to area down the ramp to scan your tickets and presto! You're in. After about 2 hours of discovery, we were ready for food so we went back to the entrance where the Cafe is located. They said we could come back to the museum with no problem after our meal, and sure enough no issues with re-entry. The Cafe food was reasonably priced and pretty delicious! I had a cheeseburger with bacon and fries (7.95 + .95 for the each of the extras) with a side of banana pudding ($3.95). We brought our own water bottles so we didn't need to buy any beverages. My favorite floor was the human body! There's an actual brain with attached spinal cord! And there's a prosthetic for you to try, so interesting. Our total time spent here was 4 hours with an hour being spent in the Children's Museum. The water table IS working and there are most definitely a black widow spider and tarantula down there. Very intriguing. Definitely a great mid-week adventure to the big city!

Awesome place for kids! Took my five yr old Twinkies and they loved it. We hit the kids museum in the lower level first, as recommended to us by friends and family. Then we walked to El Fenix for lunch. It was less crowded than the Cafe in the museum. We hit the rest of the museum after lunch. Great day!

Great experience lots of fun adventures for the kids, they even have a 3D theater inside and 5 floors of FUN. Kind of pricey $25 for adults and I believe $10 for kids. Cafe prices are fair. If you traveling in a group when other schools or children are there it could get packed. Overall great exhibits, parking is good, credit card only $10.

This was an amazing museum. I went with my young grand nephew and family. He’s just under 2. I could have spent many many more hours did than we did. There are so many things to see. We all had a great time from under 2 to over 75. After about 3 hours it was a bit much for the 2 yo. There are many other things I would like to see. Tons of interactive attractions for adults and kids. The table with the elevation was super cool. As the “land” was moved around it would update the elevation map so red for higher. The escalator that lets you see downtown Dallas was great to go up. Tons of fossils of dinosaurs.

Fantastic museum! So much to see and do for kids and adults alike. We went on Labor Day weekend so it was much busier than it would normally be. Despite that, this museum is very spacious, and easy to get around unless even if you have a stroller like we did. There is a tendency to form a long line at the elevators, but we just carried the stroller down the stairs, it helps build muscle. Also, the map is easy to read (which can't be said for the Dallas Aquarium but that's in another review), and you can find everything with relative ease. If you are a veteran you get in free so that's awesome as well, and you get a discount for everyone in your party. Overall we had a great experience, and successfully wore out the kids.

Perot Science Museum was the highlight of our trip to Dallas. Five levels of amazing things to see from every branch of Science--we couldn't see it all in one day! It was a birthday trip, so we let the birthday boy prioritize what he wanted to visit. We came here when he was 3. He wanted to return as a teenager! Our favorite exhibits were the Dinosaurs, Gems and Minerals (spectacular specimens, most simply enormous!), and Innovation exhibits. So many hands-on elements made learning an unforgettable experience. Our energy ran out before our interest did! We hit the gift shop on our way out. There is something for everyone and every price point. We'll return to Perot when our son is an adult. We know it'll still be an awesome experience!

Great place to visit with kids. Unlike other science museums this one had a ton of activities and hands on for kids on each floor. Google says it takes typically 2 hours to go through but I think realistically about 3 maybe 4. On a Friday it was really busy. Lots of schools for friend trips. The food area was good but congested because if school as well. Would recommend a day ither than a Friday.

Loved the whole place and love the gift shop as well. Went through every exhibit and by far the best one is the minerals. There's so many beautiful minerals I couldn't stop staring at. There was a guide named Don I think his name was, that talked to me and my parents about these cool minerals. Great staff in the gift shop too. The rest of the exhibit was good too and I love the interactive stuff. Definitely a good place to come with family. Might take my bf here just to see the minerals again and buy more things in the gift shop.

Great science museum in the heart of Dallas! Exhibits are clear and easy to understand. There is a very nice display about birds at the very top floor 4M. The fourth floor has two large exhibits about space and paleontology. The lower floors have exhibits about oil exploration, minerals and biology. There's $10 all day parking across the street. Budget 2-3 hours to see all the exhibits.

The variety of exhibits can keep all ages engaged (28/F/no kids, 5 hours and only left because they were closing) and astounded. The gem room is literally breathtaking, I cried. Truly the whole building is worth your time, I’m buying a membership so I can repeatedly spend future days aimlessly admiring all it has to offer.

Not the most fully developed science museum I've visited, but the interactive exhibits and colorful framing make it a definite must-visit for science-minded youth.

Since this crazy pandemic started, my family and I have basically made our “going out” basically nonexistent. If we wanted food from a restaurant we would only visit the ones that offered curbside pickup. Because contrary to some of these “people”, there is a deadly virus still lurking around. And it isn’t just the “flu”. A few weeks ago we decided to visit another one of Dallas’ aquatic attractions simply because our little one wanted to see some fish and their COVID protocols seemed pretty solid. But disappointing experience is a different review. So we decide to visit the legendary Perot Museum for the first time. Against our hesitation, mainly due to a visit somewhere else, we were leery of the COVID protocols they were claiming. But we took the chance and I purchased tickets for a certain time. And masks were required at all times for everyone three and up. We went in and they said that it usually takes about two hours for the entire thing. It was great. So many wonderful things to see and learn about. Even though I have been a dinosaur enthusiast since I was a youngster, that was still my favorite part of the museum. Not to mention the price was well worth it as well. I have already recommended it to as many people as I can. Not to mention on the way home, my three year asked us “When can we go back?”. Great price, safe environment, great visuals. What else could you ask for. I highly recommend the Perot to anyone.

I took my kids here when they were younger and now my Grandson. This is a place for forever learners. They update their knowledge and then update their facts throughout the museum. There’s an additional level below the other 5 (4M, 4, 3, 2, &1) floors that’s called the Children’s Museum. This is an area designed for children that love to play on a playground setting. It’s a great place for kids that are visual, audio, and kinesthetic learners. The purchase price is about $20 per child or $53 for one child and two adults for many hours of interest and fun. There is a shopping center and cafe. Parking is $10.

Best museum in DFW. Great for kids, great for adults. My favorite exhibit is the gemstones and minerals - my kids' favorite is the Sports Science exhibit. Parking costs $10, but it's convenient. The entry is easy. Also, it's a convenient walk to a few restaurants afterword.

I'm Rob's wife & I was an accident victim of missing a couple of stairs on the way down, I was just a bit wobbly, and thankfully unhurt. There was a man named Don S., whom helped me and assisted me by coming back to check on me. That sir is a shining example of customer service that seems to have been lost. He's a credit to the Perot. The museum was very interactive for what I thought it could be with covid. There were a lot of exhibits/activities closed though. I thought it would’ve been more detailed and fun, but I don’t really think I learned anything new. I wish the body exhibit was more about the body and the structures and not how the body moves. The sports exhibit was small but probably the most fun.

What a fun place this was!!! I went with a friend and we just had a blast - definitely not a place just for kids! She is a 5th grade teacher and I just went along for the ride bc these types of places are fun to explore! It was 5 or 6 levels of science and nature! Started out with dinosaurs and birds, that was really cool - lots of life size bones to make the dinosaurs, very visually stimulating. You also got to make your own bird which was a great interactive idea. There are also lots to read and listen to, history and just facts about the different types of animals. There's also a gem and stone part, a part with weather and weather patterns, to learn all about the earth. Again, many interactive games and learning on each floor. They also had workshops you can do which was really neat. The electronic floor was way cool. You got to play with robots and make music, lots of interactive play on that floor. And life-size drills that were pretty massive, a neat electric car and models of cities, etc. We just had fun checking out all of the buttons to hear about what we were looking at, playing the interactive games they have and using the tools that were on each section. They also have a diner inside which we didn't eat at, a gift shop and a cute outdoor area with a playground and a music making interactive play section. Great place to go if you have kids, but again, as 2 adults we had a great time learning and just exploring this great museum!

A few exhibits were not available or being worked on when we visited. It was fun for my 13 year old and she's been several times over the years. The gift shop has nifty gadgets and books etc

The Perot Museum is so much fun! Each level of the museum is a different focus from minerals and fossils to human anatomy, it has so much to explore. Though covid made some of the experiences unavailable, it was still so much fun and cool to see. I highly recommend bringing children as a way to get them interested in the world around them!

  • 5/5 Nathan s. 2 years ago on Google
There is so many different things to do here. Make sure you reserve an hour or more to do all the activities on the main floor. The other floors can be seen in less time each.

Came on a Saturday with my two children. We had a blast. Spent 3 1/2 hours here and there was plenty we still didn't see or do. Masks were required but they have some at the door for you (adult and kid sizes). I recommend buying tickets in advance

  • 5/5 meghan w. 8 months ago on Google
This is a great family outing. There are plenty of things for everyone, from astronomy to robotics to human anatomy. I love all of the interactive things that you can do, it makes it easy to learn and passes time quickly instead of only being able to read and look at stuff from afar. I would recommend going in the morning as it can get very busy in the afternoon. Overall, it was a great experience.

This destination is perfect for families with children. Among the four floors, two specifically offer highly interactive exhibits that provide unique hands-on experiences. However, as adults visiting without kids, our visit was relatively brief. Nevertheless, we found the experience to be both informative and enjoyable. The overall atmosphere was engaging and left a positive impression. Whether you're visiting with children or simply interested in learning, this place offers a worthwhile experience for all.

Very fun place to visit! Full of interactive displays for kids but there are plenty of things for adults to do and see. You learn while having fun and the visual displays are amazing. Overall, a great experience while visiting Dallas.

  • 3/5 Nick U. 9 months ago on Google
Dinosaur bones on display were fantastic, the technology exhibit was also very well done. Everything else was not of interest to me, despite the exhibits having a lot of care shown to them. Families can spend hours here. Adults can get through in about an hour.

  • 5/5 Delisha C. 8 months ago on Google
This was my first time visiting Perot Museum. OMG, it is beautiful in there! My neighbor invited my grandchildren along with her granddaughter for a few hours of exploration. A couple of displays were not working, which made the interaction difficult. This place is huge and will take a couple of trips just to visit each floor. But, the time was worth it. My family could not stop chatting about the birds activity, which we could not complete due to a couple of machines being down. The universe displays dinosaur displays, the rocks and minerals, and the big interactions for weather and natural disasters. There was so much we explored that you will have to go!! I intend to visit again soon just to complete the other levels. The kids will enjoy all of it. Happy exploring🧭🧭🧭🧭🧭

What to say about the Perot Museum of Nature and Science? This museum is a gem. There is something to do for every age group. The exhibits for children are amazing, as is the playground, full of learning activities activities to discover. We really enjoyed the fabric throwing pipes (not its real name, lol) and the dinosaur exhibit, but it's hard to say what is the best area of the museum, as it's very subjective. There is covered parking, although it is outdoors, so be aware of that. The design of the building itself is certainly something to take a moment to admire before walking in. The customer service was great, and the elevators are spacious and function well. I really recommend it!

Our family really enjoys the Perot Museum. They have so many things to explore and learn. Although not a please touch museum, it's very interactive for both adults and children. There's a nice play area for small kids. It includes dress up, play grocery store, water table and more. Want to race Patrick Mahomes or a T-Rex, they have that too. They have traveling exhibits that are typically worth the time and money. On this trip, it was information and hands-on exhibits about how Pixar brings movies to life. The cafeteria has decent food and good service. You can pay for parking once inside and scan your ticket on the way out of the parking lot. Note, if you're typically colder indoors, the museum was very cold. Bring something warm to wear if you plan on spending a full day here. Each time we go, it takes the full day, from opening to close, to see all of the exhibits.

Went to Thursdays on Tap, the 21+ event for my first time at Perot, always wanted to come check it out. Bought the $25 ticket in advance, $10 to park across the street. Very cool exhibits with Community beer and food trucks outside. It was great to experience the museum at an adult only event. Highly recommend! Will be back to read the exhibits more thoroughly. Spent about 90 mins walking around and def need another trip :)

The Perot Museum of Nature and Science in Dallas, Texas, is an absolute marvel that captivates visitors of all ages. It's a must-see destination offering a journey through the wonders of our planet, from the formation of Earth to the vastness of space. The inclusion of a Disney museum ensures an enchanting experience for kids, making learning an adventure. Dinosaur fossils add a touch of prehistoric awe. What sets it apart is the museum's commendable support for the military, providing free tickets for active-duty members and generous discounts for veterans and their families. A place where education, exploration, and inclusivity converge – a truly exceptional destination in the heart of Dallas.

The nature and science museum was incredible. So many cool exhibits, plenty of hands-on activities for kids. We spent about 3 hours but could have easily spent more time. Everything was so cool!

Great place with good exhibits. Very focused on evolution and teaching that dinosaurs evolved into birds. If you believe that God created the Earth and all creation, be careful with the doctrine they will try to teach your children. The STEM area was our favorite spot and had lots of neat things for kids to play with. There was a field trip that day and the school children were rude and cut in the lines. The gal at the Cafe was lovely and so helpful! All in all it was a decent experience

My husband and I had a great experience during a “Thursdays on Tap” It was so fun being there after hours featuring live music, food trucks, drinks and outdoor games. Plus, we had full access to the Museum and all of their exhibit halls. Highly recommend for a date night. (No kids ;)

We enjoyed the Theater and the Blue Whale movie. The place was packed with kids from different schools. It was chaotic and crowded. We would have picked something else in Dallas if we had known. They should post field trip events like this. But the T-Rex exhibit was pretty cool. We didn't even look at floors 2 and 3 because it was too crowded. That was sad.

This is a very nice museum, we went on a school field trip here. The price was a bit of a shock. I feel like the parent price should be reduced, you are rushed through the whole thing no guide to point out things or discuss any thing you are seeing. For 44$ I feel like it was not a good investment. The kids enjoyed seeing the stuff there but didn't get anything out of it.

This museum was a really fun experience. My husband and I went there as a date because we both love science and nature. There was plenty of parking (though it is paid parking) which was right next the museum which almost never happens so this was nice. You can tell the museum tries to enthrall adults as well as children because it has teachings/facts that vary between quite simple to fairly complex. My husband and I's favorite section HAS to be the jewels. The many MANY precious, colorful, and (sometimes) GIGANTIC, jewels they had were absolutely breathtaking. I can provide photos but they did not do justice in the slightest. I would say definitely give your more than 2 hours there. We only had 2 hours and we had to zip through the cosmos section and a good bit of the fossils/birds section. This museum can keep one entertained for many hours. There was a food court, but we never went since we ate and didn't have the time. For my hubby and I, as 2 adults, it was $25 each which I say is a good price. I am just giving this place 4 stars because of its obvious, should I say, agenda? (I wish I could've given more like 4.5 though). It has a section showing "where man came from" of course with ape-like people. I guess that is how science is today, so I am not surprised and the section was small so it wasn't too preachy.
