This place is definitely a local hangout, in the best possible way. I people watched multiple groups of people who had obviously been there before. The vibe was really fun and I spoke to several of the staff while there and they were all very friendly and welcoming. There are some interesting beer and cocktail options too. If I lived closer I could definitely coming around often to this place.

Great themed pub in downtown Plano - Guinness is poured correctly and the food is good for what it is, pub food. Servers are attentive and easygoing and the space is large, dimly lit and clean. Always love dropping in since it's a stone's throw away from my apartment 😁

Absolutely excellent service from Bree!!! Food as always is just delicious as heck. I got their roast beast and a friend got a summer salad with chicken. Absolutely fantastic. Mimosa carafes are cheap as heck at only $16. Their brunch is delicious as I've had it many times before so I highly recommend!

Went on a Friday night and had a great time! Bartending staff was very lively and great beer/cocktail drink selection. Vibe is really nice. I live in England and the atmosphere is pretty accurate to English neighborhood pubs. Relaxed atmosphere, humming but was not too crowded. Like that they had some card games and darts. Great place to hang with friends!

[1/31/2023] on a day of sleet & snow day when most restaurants are closed, this was opened. Drinks and food were excellent as usual. [10/28/2021] it is as good as everybody says… the soon to baby lady was very courteous.

The Fillmore is our favorite place for a beer and pub food. The menu includes burgers and sliders, salads, and a pub brunch served Saturdays and Sundays. But go for the beer which includes US-craft, Texas-craft, drafts, and imports. The dark wood of the restaurant and bar have a definite old world pub feel. The outdoor dining area overlooks a public stage and DART crossing; a really nice place to enjoy a beer and a meal in historic downtown Plano. This Saturday, the weather was perfect so we enjoyed a Ruben sandwich and fries on the patio. Fun fact: According to Plano Magazine, Fillmore was the first proposed name for the city, after President Fillmore, but the name was rejected.

My 19 year old daughter, my husband and I went The Filmore Pub at 8.45 pm and took a table outside. It was during the week and not crowded. After 15 min waiting, finally a waitress came to our table to take orders. My husband and I ordered beer and sliders. My daughter didn't have her id with her and she ordered a glass of water. But waitress told us that she shouldn't have been there after 9 pm due to city ordinance and kindly told us to leave. Btw, when we were leaving, we passed by another family which was already served and enjoying their food with their little kids. I gave 2 stars for the previous nice experiences.

Visited on a Saturday night, a bit after they closed the kitchen but still sat a table for drinks. Server came over and told us again that the kitchen was closed. My husband ordered a Guinness and said to give me a minute. She said ok walked away and never came back… the table next to us (who came afterwards) got waters, my husband still had no beer. After waiting about 10-15 minutes we decided to walk out. I would not recommend this place. Servers are bothered by clients, I don’t know who would spend their money there with such bad service, or non-service in my case.

Alright so im gonna share the good things about this bar, Then the bad. The staff is amazing, And really awesome, The environment is also great! Best drinks downtown.. My issue is the food, A couple of years ago i got a bad burger, but today i decided to give the food a new chance.. With the signature fish and chips... It was mostly just batter the amount of fish in it was almost non existent.. This place is great for getting drinks, But its the worst downtown for food.. I Really hope they improve the food because if they had great food this would be a 5 star instant. But sadly, Due to the food only 3 stars.. I hope i can change this later on may give it a new try one day..

It's the first restaurant I've dined in since the pandemic began. I had a high sense of anticipation in seeing what this place had to offer. I ordered the signature Fillmore Burger and sliders, both were very good and well made. I chose the soup as the side option for both entrees. Their tomato basil and beef stew soups are worth experiencing every spoonful. The server was very attentive and mindful of any questions I had. This sturdy pub is a place worth coming downtown to, have a pint and meal, and just your time.

What a cool place to grab a bite to eat, and a few drinks. Great service along with great drinks. The fish and chips was amazing. So we're the sliders. I had a few mixed drinks, and my friend had some beer. All of it was good. The inside was decorated for Halloween and was really cool! Amazing vibes overall. I will definitely be coming back.

Great place to stop in and get a drink and plate when around downtown Plano shopping! Good selection of liquors as well.

Super chill all around! I go here often if I want to relax with friends. Not on football Sundays though. Sport nights are lively! Even then it's a fun atmosphere to be in. The staff are all friendly and kind. Food is very yummy! Their chicken salad sandwich is my favorite. It's very filling without the fries, but you just gotta get the fries!

Almost all the food was bland. My friend returned the Indian curry dish, and I barely finished my fish and chips. I like that they made my cocktail more spicy upon request. Our server April was really nice.

Only been a couple of times yet the manager, maybe owner calls me "Danny Boy". Nice to walk in and they know you, your drink and favorite food from the 1st time you came. Before retirement my mom worked for a state agency that wasn't exactly close but many of the people there still drove over for a delicious and filling lunch. Easy to sit at the bar and have a nice conversation with just about anyone else sitting there. I recommend the stew and whatever you prefer on tap. For a designated driver I can't begin to tell you how wonderful the bottled rootbeer is.

Been coming here for years. The staff is still friendly. The food is still good. The beer selection is a little lighter than it used to be which is the only flaw to me. I love the fish and chips and homemade tartar sauce. Over the years I've really expanded their seating where you could enjoy indoor and outdoor dining in a downtown location. Definitely a place you can take a wide variety of drinking and food tastes and still have a good place to hang out. I will continue to go back.

Very nice bar. I had a Kölsch beer, which was produced in Texas. That was surprising. I assumed they would import it from Cologne Germany.

Definitely like this place a lot!! Old Plano is a bit of a hike...but I would come back for their Mediterranean plate with delicious homemade hummus!! Raspberry sour beer made the whole thing perfect. Excellent service, the patio is a perfect setting, and inside has all that dark English/ Irish pub jive. Great place. Will be back soon!!

Good food good drinks. Service while sitting at the bar was good. Food came out fast and hot. It has its share of regulars but we didn't feel like we were ignored. Some places can give you a cold shoulder feel if you are not a regular or long time customer. Definitely was not an issue we encountered. We will definitely be back.

Quaint pub with an old atmosphere. Really good drinks. They know how to make them right and obviously take pride in them. Only tried appetizers, but they were good. Would go back for sure. Great patio as well.

I don't drink alcoholic beverages, but I had a meeting there. The service and the food were very good. The atmosphere of the pub was the right balance of light and dark. Cozy, but not dank. I would go back.

Great drinks, great vibes, fantastic food! The flat iron streak and fish and chips may have been the best I've ever had. If this was a well kept secret, it should not be.
