My Thursday night spot is now closed and I'm so sad about it. I read through some reviews and have no idea what some of the people complained about. My husband and I have been going here for about 20 years on Wednesday & Thursdays, me Thursdays for the wings. He played darts so even if there was a weekend day tournament, we might end up there. We loved it! The last few years, Kyle was the main bartender and server on the bar side (yes its smoking - for all the non smokers that complain, you have MANY places to go in Texas where its non smoking but us smokers are being pushed out of everywhere - at least this place offered a non-smoking side) Kyle was moody at times but his drinks and service was always on point. Victoria joined him and made a fun server as well. A few others came & went but were horrible anyway. The food was always great and the place was always clean. Great prices and great people. There wasn't a family member or friend that I took there over the years that didn't love it. It was my favorite place to go....until for some reason they turned it into a club on Friday & Saturday nights. The longer they did that, the more business declined, even through the week because the crowd changed little by little and even cars were being broken into throughout week nights. I wish they never would've done that. They'd probably still be open now. I won't hang out in plano and I cant smoke inside there so my hangout is just gone. The one time I tried Plano after they rebuilt, the service was horrible anyway. The drinks weren't near as good either. Bye Austin Avenue II. You'll be missed by your regulars!

I'm not a bar hopper but we went on a Monday for my birthday just for a few drinks. Got the Monday drink special. Noticed it's served in a beer glass instead of a margarita glass but who cares I drunk all of them up! Also ordered fried pickles! My favorite and they was crispy. First time having extra crispy fried pickles. Loved it. There is a smoking on the bar side. Not a fan of smoke but no one was on the other side. Definitely coming back if I need a drink. The bar server, was friendly and attentive! I don't remember her name or their names.

Pretty shabby, stinks of decades old booze and cigarettes. I barely felt comfortable having drinks here - let alone eating something. Pretty gross.

I enjoyed going to Austin Ave for the second time me and my boyfriend went there. The food and drink is awesome most of all fast friendly service our waitress had a smile and the people there was friendly shout out to the DJ. I recommend this place to Friends and Family.

Food decent. This is not like other Austin Ave in Plano. More of a hip hop lounge than really a sports bar. Fri and Sat nights are crazy club night with police and security. Totally out of hand. Place needs big time updates. TV in smoking area is a big plus when they show sports not hip hop videos.

Pool, darts, karaoke. 2 separate rooms, 1 for sports & dining, 1 for games, bar, and too much smoking. Real South Dallas crowd. Decent menu (more than just "bar food") and good prices. Music selection in "game" area was mostly rap/hip hop and was somewhat over-bearing.

A Plano landmark. Place burned down years ago and they rebuilt it so it’s bigger and better than ever. Great place to chill. I drive by it every day to and from work and it always feels like I’m missing something if I don’t stop by.

This place is awesome! Everything is priced very well, the staff is friendly. The food is good, and it even has the place divided in half to keep a separate bar from the restaurant. 10/10 will come again. *Edit* and did come again! FYI, the burgers are actually so big the meat is larger than the buns!!! Gonna meet up with some friends? This is the place! Wanna catch a game? This IS THE PLACE. Dinning room on one side if you're looking to be in a smoke free friendly environment, bar on the other side for a much more adult friendly classic bar environment.

Great sports bar. Very friendly service. Lack of work force. I guess it’s a temporary thing.

Really good food!! This is a sports bar.. Restaurant is huge room with big screen TVs. There is a bar side with pool tables. Im not much of a sports fan, but I go there because the food is so tasty!! And really good prices too. Service is quick and good.
