I debated writing this review... they gave me the refund that I asked for without a problem. However, the experience was to terrible not to share. I was using this bottle of malt vinegar to season a bland bowl of etouffee. Eating and talking ... I didn't notice the 20 or so FLYS in the bottle of vinegar. It wasn't until we were sitting and talking for a while that I noticed them in the bottom of the bottle. I'm sure you are cringing with me right now!! I noticed the fruit Flys around my table but didn't think much of it. I should have. Watch anything that is sitting on any table in restaurants.... if they didn't notice this themselves.. how well are they cleaning each day?

The pic attached is The Big Catch for $15.99. I saw this place on Facebook and wanted to try it and yes I'm Happy. It was delicious and yummy. The shrimp and fish was cooked well and the green beans was well seasoned. I'll definitely cone back and have another dish. Worth the 20 minutes drive. When you go by try Their House Sauce its good.

Great catfish and chicken here! Based on what I had, I'm sure everything is tasty. Fish frydays can be every day with this place in town. Excellent customer service, too. Delicious sides, every made fresh right in front of you. Super clean restaurant and kitchen.

Place was busy and for a good reason. Got the catch boil in medium/full house and was very flavorful. Fried okra and fries were good. Next time will get hot as medium didn’t have a kick. Will be back to try several other items.

SUPERB SERVICE! Close location to my office. Its a Cajun restaurant. Everyone I was with enjoyed their food but it was the service for me! 3 people came to my table checking on us. Ron was great! Def recommend

The overall experience was great. We were greeted by friendly staff, who also helped us make our decision on what to order. They came and checked on us throughout the visit. Katrelle (sp?) is a great addition to the team. The food was so good! The crispy coating on the fish didn't cause it to be dry at all. The fried shrimp was great too, along with the fries. We also enjoyed the fried gator, hush puppies, and green beans. The complimentary adult beverages were a bonus. That frozen daiquiri was sweet and really hit the spot. I will definitely return.

Pretty good. Had carry out several weeks ago and it was good too. Staff was very courteous. Frys were better last time. Still good.

No acknowledgement when we walked in , Fish was good , grilled platter was excellent, gumbo was so so . Advertising New Orleans style but , the theme was not matching the old country music played in background. I liked the music but didn’t match the theme , If in the area again I will order to Go next time cause food was delicious!!

I'm assuming that the fried food is better than the seafood boil, I had. The food tastes like it was all cooked separately without any seasoning. The sauce had no flavor, and it appeared that they sprinkled salt on top of the shells like that would actually make up for not seasoning the water while being cooked. The crab legs were so over cooked that the meat stuck to the shell while the shrimp were undercooked. The sausage was smoked sausage not andouile sausage which through the entire flavor off. There weren't many clean tables and the young lady that was taking the orders was very unprofessional. She was extremely nice to the male customers and very dry with the female customers. This girl's lace front had lifted off and you could see her glued on wig cap. I guess she was doing the bald cap method and the glue work off and the wig lifted up. The cook she was kept talking to and being friendly with didn't even tell her 🙄 I know what was going on but for a customer that doesn't understand would probably see this as unsanitary and unprofessional. I may go back and try the fast food but I would not recommend the seafood boil.

I really wanted to like this place because I've heard great things about it but it just wasn't good. Maybe I went on a bad day, but the crawfish tasted spoiled and the gumbo tasted burnt 😔 the service was wonderful and everyone was so nice!! The atmosphere was very cute and clean.

Excellent fried catfish plate, But if you like Cajun food, opt for the French Quarter Plate, with shrimp etouffee, catfish, popcorn shrimp, hush puppies and seasoned rice. I got it blackened instead of fried - it was fantastic! This is a fast food place, so expect no ambiance. But go for the food!

This was some of the best seafood I had in a while. The gumbo lacked flavor though that’s my only complaint. I’d order from here again. I got the admirals platter.

Service was awesome!! Crawfish was perfect!! Owner Lawrence is doing a great job. We will be returning for sure.

On Thursday June 15 around 6PM, my wife and I entered the restaurant to purchase two orders of catfish. As we were waiting for our orders, a customer walked in to return an order of fish that was incorrect. No big deal right,? Unfortunately, the person serving the food tried to give us the order that was returned. Not only is this bad for business, but who knows what was done to the order that was returned. If he did that, the sky is the limit as to what else he might do to your food. A customer lost for good.

Pictured below is large order of gumbo and red beans and rice. Horrible. Gumbo tasted like brown gravy. Red beans good just no rice in it or on side in separate container. Overpriced for what they serve. Supposedly 12 oz of each.

I had the Shrimp basket with Gator on the side. The food was so fresh and cooked perfect with amazing taste. If you haven't been here before, get ready to be awed.

The food was very flavorful and freshly made. It was quite busy, but it took about 15 minutes from placing my order to pick up. The kitchen was very efficiently run. I'll be back to try some of the other dishes.

I placed my order online. Went in to pick it up and the manager says they didn't get an order because their systems were down but how does the customer know that???? He proceeds to prepare the food we ordered but it's drenched in grease and just thrown halfway together. We had to scoop ice out of a bucket when getting our drinks. Doesn't seem very sanitary to me. The food though was good after dabbing off the grease. The staff was nice. I believe the Garland location is closing so I will have to give the Lewisville location a try. Maybe the experience will be better.

Awesome Cajun style seafood - good service and atmosphere - smallish dinning area but it was really busy - my order came out pretty fast considering we had four orders to go - the staff were very polite

Lawrence and Lyric are awesome! I don't know the cooks name but it was sure nice to be welcomed in! Ignore all the negative in the world and step into the door. It should say welcome home!!Sit down we cooked! I will be back at least 4 times for the free gumbo!
