I went to have drink before movie. Asked for a shot 30min before we had to leave. The bartender didn't know how to make it. There was a group of workers discussing how to make it. It was on the menu as a preferred shot(cucumber shot). I thought they would have it down. 15 minutes later they gave us a "trial shot" to taste it was tiny shot glass with a lime slice that covered the glass. Everything covered in a thick ring of tajin on top. 25 minutes later, I told the manager sitting there I have to leave. He had the girl at the bar charge me for a full shot I never got. I said you're charging me full price for something you said was free? she said yes, it the same amount of liquor. I said whatever, I have to go. I paid and left. It's obvious this place doesn't know what they're doing. Definitely won't go back. Even if the food is good the service and the arrogant manger is HORRIBLE.

Please don't come to this restaurant El Viejon Mariscos if you want to wait for an hour for your drinks and then another hour for your food. This restaurant is understaff the owner needs to hire more waiters the service is really bad and slow for the price of the food. The food was okay the leche De tigre was really good. Lastly, turn on your A/C I was sweating of the hotness.

If you want good service DO NOT go to el Viejon! They will pay no attention to you whatsoever until you get their attention. Will not pick up trash off your table. Oh and you will have to go get your tab from the bar. If you want to be treated like a “customer” do not go to this restaurant. I have gone due to convenience but will rather make the few minutes more drive to go to Fish and Tails. Save yourself the headache and inconvenience of paying for a place that will not treat you like a paying customer at all.

I went to this restaurant and It was terrible. I will never go there again. People need to have more prep when answering to customer questions. Awful service when clients should be priority. I even got a lecture of how The botana chelera shrimp are to be raw from the tail because sushi is raw and because is Sinaloa style. Also is ok to have raw shrimp mixed with cook shrimps and eat it so the replace the raw shrimp only as you can see on the pictures😬

I was there Friday night I wanted to drink have a good time and the waitress where busy on there on thing. The guy bringing out the food should get all the tips. I only got to two drinks and appetizer. It took to long for waitress to come and ask if I wanted to order that all I wanted is to pay and get out

This place has authentic Mexican seafood dishes that you don't find anywhere else! Very delicious and portions are good.

The food was okay, the service wasn’t all that. There was only two waitresses when I went, and they were fairly busy. She came by our table a few times to check on us. When asked to split the check at the end she said she was not able to do. This seemed strange then I realized she got an 18% tip for bills over $120. As I am all for tipping, I don’t like when restaurants decide how much I should tip. Her service was not worth $25 in tip. I feel when they see that they are going to automatically get tipped they don’t service you the same, because they know they are getting tipped regardless. Please beware when you come to this resturant.

I love coming here for lunch they have amazing good lunch specials and the food is tasty . I enjoy going and always get the best service from our tender Elver - he is definitely very pleasant and friendly . You must have the enchiladas they are bomb .

Nice place for Mexican seafood. The ceviches and the seafood bowls were fresh and delicious. The salsas were spicy and tasty. The drinks were strong and refreshing.

The best place to have a michelada and some good fish or shrimp cocktail I come every weekend with my family, ask for Indira the best waitress they got

Great spacious restaurant, 95% of their menu is seafood. There are a few plates for those that accompany you but not much. Great big portions as well, you get for what you pay for. Variety of alcoholic drinks as well.

some plates are good some others are bad they are not consistent with flavor, they are pricy and dont use quality products, you expect better quality for higher prices but here is not like that, they use for example catfish what is one of the worst fishes and cheapest options. Another problem is that they charge thing that was never explain to you, they told us that flavored water was refillable, but at the end we was charged with all those refills, they never told us that was a charge for a refill, also they add the gratuity in the check without even asking and when we was paying they asked again for more gratuity, if you are not careful you end tipping twice

The fish soup was awesome. The flavor hit the spot after a hangover. But the seafood fried basket was just okay. It came with fries, and they just weren't great. The fried shrimp were small and needed seasoning. I have no complaints about the fried fish.

The food was fantastic, the atmosphere was perfect for the restaurant...all in all, it was a fantastic experience and i'll definitely be back for more ceviche

For starters, the chips were to chewy she changed but the same . The appetizers were good. But the shrimp its half way cook because it's was chewy . The caldo de camarones were not flavor at all. The only good thing about the caldo was the potato. Now for the tip, it's already included. If your ticket is more than 125 dollars. My point is that with these prices, u easily expend that money alone. at a garland location

Service was really quick. I went on a Wednesday night . Food was good, I will definitely be coming back.

We went here for my husband's birthday, and it was our first time. We wanted seafood and had liked some of the Facebook food photos. Firstly, our waitress was exceptionally kind and patient with our large group. She was quick with anything we asked for and even helped us to take a few family photos 🤩 I felt the prices on many items were too high for the style restaurant, many were $15-$25 range. We ended up ordering some appetizers as meals to share, and I got the boiled shrimp, which was the only ordered item from the regular menu. The shrimp cocktails were loaded with shrimp and very fresh, but the sauce was a bit plain. The boiled shrimp were perfection. Large, fresh, and well seasoned. I was surprised that I was charged extra for the corn and potatoes, almost $7 extra! I thought they came with an order, guess I learned... We chose this place b/c of FB pictures showing beers topped with seafood, etc but the 6pack was $30! No way!!! I was also surprised that gratuity was added to the bill, possibly because of our party size, but she earned that 15%, so I wasn't mad, but watch your tickets before leaving more.

Food is good but not consistent one day food is served one way next week it is different. There is no description on the menus only photos. Waitress are not attentive. Takes forever to get check and pay. Wait staff not super friendly.

Loved the food and atmosphere, but the service was not so great, and then one server for the entire restaurant on a Friday night, not so great to wait so long for everything. That was the only issue, but we still had fun and enjoyed it.

First time here and I am definitely coming back. Had a molcajete viagra and a torre de cabo. Both were Amazing and surprised that everything was tender and each to chew. Also ordered a catfish basket and it was good as well. Reasonably priced and highly recommended
