El Chico is my fams forever home for Tex-mex here in Granbury. Consistently stealing my heart. Always treated like family. Food always bussin’! Especially that burrito bowl tho! Attached a pic.

The food wasn't as much as I thought it was. It's one of my favorite dishes there. It is brisket enchiladas. If I was you I would order 3 will send off the order comes with 2. At the end you can never have enough.

Wow!!! I haven’t eaten at an El Chico in many many years. They all closed down in the greater Dallas area. When I saw this one I figured, why not?? Boy was that a great choice!!! The service was quick and fantastic! The food? HOLY MOLEY!!!!! Waaaay better than I could’ve imagined. My wife, who is from Canada, was blown away!! What an experience!!!!

Save your money or go somewhere else. The rice and beans tasted off, queso was off, tortillas seemed weird, buttery. The server was so slow bringing drink refills,drinks, even my food. This was a wanna be El Fenix or Uncle Julios. I only gave those two stars because my in laws liked their food

Was eating at this place every week while I was in town. Got good service and really think their cheese and onion enjalidas are the best. Last visit there tried the spinach ones. Not so good. Server that day wasn't listening either and brought me 2 instead of one. When I told her order at was messed up she said I could take it with me. So I paid for something I didn't eat. Not happy about that but will go back and get cheese enchiladas and happy hour is great. Stopped by now about 3 months later. Had very good cheese enchilada and beef enchilada. Beautiful presentation and fresh ingredients. Took a while to b recognized at door to b seated. Prompt service with food and drinks but didnt c server again until I was finished so never got the charro beans I ordered so they took them off my bill.

Another individuals out there that make their own Mexican food and it's pretty excellent. But if you were unfortunate to know one of these people or be one then this is a really excellent place to go if you enjoy Mexican food. I highly recommend the tamale plate I think that's my all-time favorite and they do it really well. Another thing they do really well is the chile relleno which I also get a la carte. Love love love this place give it a visit!

GOOD THING EL CHICO CARES ENOUGH TO REQUEST YOU SEND THEM AN EMAIL. ONLY TO IGNORE. Service was HORRIBLE. Took forever to get food. Waitress had a attitude. Couldn't get refills, napkins or more chips. They messed up one of the dinners and instead of an apology and taking it off the bill, they charged me for what was incorrectly served to the table. I had to go find the manager (waitress was non existent) and when I told him, he took a whopping $3 from the wrong dinner plate. Totally turned off from experience there. Been numerous times before but after this bs experience, not sure we will return.

Really great food. Been meaning to try it out after we moved close. So glad we finally did! Service and meal were both worth stopping in for. We will be back.

The food is fantastic. Servi e isn't bad, they just can't seem to keep motivated servers employed. The youth of today are too lazy and have been raised to think that everyone else owes them something. They've not yet figured out you have to get off of your cell phone earn it.

Such a pretty restaurant. All the coloured flags and little lights, always great staff, even when they're busy they don't over look anything. The food is great, there's a 3 course deal for $25. Sharing an appetizer and dessert. Really good food and super value!!

Had to go to El Chico. Years back this was my go to for Mexican food in Oklahoma city. Everything is fresh, salsa chips, place is very clean, staff is super. Food was ok. I ordered asada enchilada plate upon recommendation from server. It was good, not great but good. Next time I will try plain enchiladas . Hubs had shrimp enchiladas, grandson had chicken fajitas. Chicken enchiladas are nice n thick. Tortillas could be better. We ordered extras for side. They are plain white almost undercooked. The charro beans are excellent. Mexican rice is ok. We ordered apple pie for dessert. Oh my so so good with great vanilla ice cream

Very nice Mexican restaurant. Friendly staff, we did not wait long for someone to take our order. The food we ordered was outstanding.

Food was good but the service was horrible. Went at about 330 on a Sunday and it took 30 minutes to get our food. The waitress seemed to busy with the 4 people at the bar instead of taking care of her customers. There was only 2 other tables occupied. $70 for 2 people and a 1 year old to eat. Won't be going back anytime soon. Used to be one of my favorite Mexican restaurants.

Angie is absolutely amazing! She was so nice and really on top of her game. She made sure we had everything we needed and never went without a refill or anything. She had a full section all by herself and she was amazing! Will definitely be returning just for her great service.

I had the Rodeo and my wife had the mushroom enchilada dinners and they were very good. Staff was friendly and our server was Emily. She was great. The food was hot when served. The orders were taken quickly. Our drinks and chips with salsa came just as quick. Emily asked us if we wanted cups for drinks to go. Outstanding job!!!
