So driving by it, you'd think it's just another sports bar. Though this was some of the best casual-style food I've had in awhile. Their chicken was breaded just perfectly and fried so it was light and crispy. The sweet-potatoes were amazing. My wife said her sandwich was great but would have been perfect with tomato and lettuce. Going to be adding it to our short list of must-haves on the island.

Big Bats Cafe isn't quite a cafe, but more of an experience. Come for the great patio, good drinks and decent food. Come back for the friendly service and good prices. Pro Tip: Skip the sandwiches and go straight for the fantastic wings.

Awesome place with great comfort food and beers on tap. The peanutbutter-pretzel-burger is a handfull, but was absolutely worth it. Personal was cool and very welcoming to us foreigners.

Perfect place to stop after a day at the beach! Brought my dog so we walked in through the outdoor area. We all had a great time. Kids had fun playing with other kids. Food came out fast. They got kids spaghetti and ate it up. I got the breakfast sandwich, and it was so huge I shared it with my dog.

My husband and I always enjoy heading over to Bats for lunch! I usually get the Smokehouse Burger with Sweet Potato Fries (yummm!) and his favorite is the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich. The Crab Dip & Soft Pretzel is an absolute MUST for an appetizer! We love the friendly, laid-back atmosphere too. 😊

I haven't been to Big Bats in years because the food was gross, but tonight we went by for a drink so I figured what could go wrong. Well, was I wrong. So, we get to the bar and try and order a drink and that's pretty much it. There were 3 other people at the bar so it wasn't exactly busy. There was one bartender working on a Saturday night which I though was a bit strange considering the parking lot was full and a band was playing out back. Well after sitting there 10 - 15 minutes we got up and left. So yea, that's about it. Thanks for nothing Big Bats, you will always be a poor knockoff Green Turtle.

Stopped here on our way across the Bay Bridge. What a great find! I wasn’t expecting much at a sports bar but my shrimp fajita came in 3 plates with all the fixins. Very good. They even had key lime pie for under $5. We’ll be back!

I had to go order today . I got the crab cake on pub roll 😋. In a word WOW , This was very good crab cake at NOT very good crab cake price . Was 18 with a ton on crinkle fries and was every bit as good as crab cakes I have had that where 25 to 35 dollars each with one side . Soo impressed I needed to right a review

Big Bats never changes, it just gets better with age. Good bloody Marys & huge, tasty breakfasts for the price, very reasonable!

My family and I regularly stop at Big Bats when we’re coming to and from the beach. The food is always good, service is great, and the restaurant itself is festively adorned with baseball memorabilia. They offer indoor and outdoor table and bar seating. We’ve been here many times and have never had a bad time. Highly recommend!

We have been here several times after games. Tonight, waitress brings out all the food except mine. Goes back after everyone has been served and places my order. I overheard her putting in my order and told her to forget about it since everyone was already done eating. She must have been embarrassed because she never came over and offered refills on the table. Over all worst experience.

If you're a sports fan, this is one reason to visit Big Bats. Plenty of TVs showing a plethora of sporting events. There is memorabilia throughout the entire venue. There's a vast selection of food of the "roadhouse variety" and its darn good too. If you like good food and a fun atmosphere, this place is for you!

I have been going to Big Bats for over 12 years now, but my last experience I felt the need to leave a review. The service was excellent, the food was excellent, and on top of that, its a sports bar that is also a baseball museum on many levels. Steve (Owner) has put a lot of love and care into making this place a hidden gem that hides in plain site. You can spend hours looking at all the sports memorabilia in there. They have the best Gyros around! Do yourself a favor, if you haven't been to Big Bats yet, I highly suggest you do!

Son in law (who has been here several times) thought it would be a good place after the boat show as we headed home. Only problem was that there was so much really good food! Our server was helpful without hovering, and we all agreed it was a great stop.

Steve Garland runs a perfect place for great food and an excellent staff and service! Great for our large group get togethers! 1/12/23 we had a great time at Big Bats! No place is better! 5 star rating!

Awesome wings and great service at the bar! We'll be back! Edit: We went back. I think I might have a new favorite bar. Wings were better than I even remembered. Service was outstanding. Not pretentious, not fancy, just damn good. It's like a doughnut that your friend tells you is awesome, but you're like, "nah, I'm not interested in a doughnut right now..." And then a few months later, your friend offers you another one and you try it and you're like "why didn't you tell me how good this is!?" And your buddy's like "dude..."

Nice bar and great set up of screens with lots of games to choose from. Food all institutional with no imagination. Mostly frozen with nothing we had was fresh. Lettuce doesn't count. Very poor quality. Great drinks and excellent service.

We had buffalo chicken salad. They were good. Blue cheese dressing was very good! Quite tasty! Staff was kind and attentive. Quick service.

The service was friendly and the food was excellent. I personally got the gyro and I was blown away by the housemade sauce. Definitely a must try. Got the try the places crab cakes thanks to my wife getting them and they were top notch as expected. Check this place out if you visit. It's a must.

We came down to the bay for a day trip and needed to pick up lunch somewhere that was dog friendly. We ended up just getting our food to go because of how hot it was outside, but I did read they allow dogs on their patio! Our food was amazing! I had a bacon cheeseburger and my husband got the hot dog with chili. My burger (on the outside), bun and bacon all had a nice crisp to them. It offset the chewiness of the burger and bread and bacon perfectly. And loved the fries. Perfect amount of seasoning. My husband said he enjoyed the crispness of his bun on his hot dog as well and thoroughly enjoyed his hot dog with chili. If and when we come back to this area, we will definitely be stopping back here for food!

First time at Big Bats, and we were immediately greeted and felt very welcome to be there. The weather was perfect so we sat outside and were immediately greeted by our waitress. We ordered the pretzel with honey mustard to start. I ordered the Buffalo chicken sandwich with fries and my wife had the sliders. Everything was fantastic! I love the homemade Buffalo sauce. A special shout out to Madeline for the excellent service with a great attitude. We will be back for sure. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
