👍👍 Very large building. There was a check-in process as we enter in. There are lots of hand sanitizer all around. Just before volunteering we all had to wash the hands. Then the coordinator takes us what is the work for the day and how each of us could do the work. It was very well organized volunteeri... Very large building. There was a check-in process as we enter in. There are lots of hand sanitizer all around. Just before volunteering we all had to wash the hands. Then the coordinator takes us what is the work for the day and how each of us could do the work. It was very well organized volunteering work. It is the kind of the work suited for volunteering. Clean and we'll maintained facility. We would like to volunteering again. Everyone can check the website and see if they can volunteer for some time.

I have volunteered here about 3 times now at the distribution center for 2.5 hour shifts. Every time I have been there I am never left without a job/task everybody is always busy and even If the contribution seems small, there is a big impact made. I have done this for volunteer hours for National Honor Society but now I will be doing it more in my free time. Definitely recommend!

My team at work usually volunteers every year and we've changed location from South Dallas to this location. It's definitely newer and less warehouse feel when you first walk-in. It's a lot cleaner and more high tech looking. The easy kiosk check in is a plus. Bathroom clean and staff very appreciative and friendly. If you love to help others in need this is a great place to check out and volunteer. Give back whenever you can.

Had such a great time today partnering with #NTFB and Texas Western Hospitality! The whole experience was awesome, and I can't wait to go back and do it again! Had so much fun with Ms. Yolanda and the team packing up condiments!

Some of the worst communication form HR and Heather to be specific all around. No punctuality or professionalism to email chain or responses. If you're looking for a job even for a base position they will basically do all the leg work to get you hired and never talk to you again or be transparent with what's going on in the process just spent three weeks as a finalist doing the steps with them sending a whopping one email every four days just to get an automated email with no explanation of what's going. Non profit discrimination. Lovely.

Found my favorite place to donate food too! 1st time coming here n all I did was googled and read abt this place w good reviews. Not far from where am at neither. I’ve donated to maybe 1-2 spots ever since I’ve moved to TX but this one right here BEATS those other places. This is the one I’ll b coming to n also recommending IF needed/possible. The front desk lady was very helpful/knowledgeable w answering my questions as I let her know it’s my 1st time. 🫡💯I had to walk back out the main entrance n make a left to the side doors where it states food donation as what’s pictured in my reviews for anybody else thts new etc. As for me I always walk into main entrance to a help desk etc of some sort esp if am new to something or area etc. But, overall it was a great food drop off experience I only had one plastic bag to donate it went fast but when I pressed the buzzer it took awhile for someone to come to door. The person tht came to door was a person donating too bc I’ve asked him did he work here but he directed me to a foreign lady literally right next to door but on the computer 💁🏾‍♀️I didn’t understand tht part but overall she took my donation n thanked me and she also answered my questions w knowledge so overall it’s all good on my end😁 They only take canned food boxed food no produce r diary r bakery items just fyi…

NTFB helps thousands of people with healthy food daily. My son, Donald, has been volunteering every day their doors have been open for over a year now. He loves it. The facility is huge, modern and beautiful with a caring staff and many volunteers.

Missed my delivery appointment due to illness. These wonderful ladies took my load late because they are kind and didn't want me to spend 4 days of Christmas holiday sitting around waiting. I thank you!

We took our Upward Bound students here to volunteer all day and it was awesome! Everyone was super nice and the kids worked really hard. Thank you NTFB for helping to feed the community and allowing folks to volunteer be a part of it!

Sheila navigated me through how to get started with obtaining food and wasn’t only very helpful but extremely and genuinely caring about my situation. Often there is a lot of anxiety about asking for help like this, but she seemed to be very receptive and understanding of that. Thank you again, Sheila.

Had items delivered to people who were in need and several of the staple items, like peanut butter and powdered milk were out of date.... WAY OUT OF DATE, not a month or so, we are talking 6+ months. This is not good! Check your stock folks, even those in need deserve better! This is every time, not just once or twice, EVERY time!

I love a place like this that help people in need. I am very Thankful to have recently found out that they exist here in this location. It is a great food source! It is a food drive at various event locations. Most events are great. It just need to be organized better. Or rather, there need to be better organizers using it. Churches tend to be a better place where community commodities are passed out. But to be honest, all the places need to organize better and be certain that the household information and head count given is correct.

The North Texas Food Bank is an amazing place to donate your time and/or money. If you're dropping off food donations make sure you take a minute to pop in their lobby and check out the Harvest Market. $1 = 3 meals so every purchase makes a huge impact.

When I tell you as a grown man, I'm about to cry..! I can't remember the gentleman's name, but he was Hispanic and he helped me sign up for food stamps. I am so grateful for his help and the time he took to help me. God bless you.
