This is a very nice park. Lots of open space that includes a big play area for the kids. There is also a veterans memorial. Located at the end of a quaint downtown area, there is plenty nearby to grab a drink or a bite to eat.

This is an awesome park with playground equipment for big kids AND little kids. There is a huge pavilion that is great for parents to hang out, bring a picnic or host a birthday party. There are decently clean bathrooms and a water fountain as well. The park on the street side has a wrought iron gate which makes it feel a little safer for small kids. Lots of green space, trees and a gazebo! It can get pretty crowded after school on a nice day. But still one of our favorites especially because we can hunt for rocks (Wylie Rocks) and maybe get a little treat from one of the cute shops downtown.

This park has a fun play structure and the ground cover is handicap friendly and comfy to walk/ fall on. I wish the fence went all the way around the park though. Basic bathrooms are available for part of the year. I guess people don’t need to go the bathroom in the winter lol.

This park has two great playgrounds. One is a smaller playground meant for 2-5 year olds and one that is meant for 5+. The bigger one has a lot of slides at different levels. Both playgrounds are covered, so it's nice to be covered from the sun. There is also a nice swing set too. There are bathrooms nearby and a covered pavilion is right next to the park. Overall a great little park. Note: the restrooms are closed from December 1st to March 1st.

Slides - straight and spiral, swings, structures to stretch children's imagination. To bring their thoughts into action! We (grandparents) visited this Park on eve of a weekend taking our three years old grandson (and with his parents too). End of August, so the afternoon sun at 5 pm was still strong to enjoy. But the little boy enjoyed! By 6 pm it became quite enjoyable with sun going behind the clouds and air getting breezy. Overall, enjoyable. Can spend some two hours. By the way, very close, there are some good shops offering eats. So, worth a visit and explore these shops as well!

Went for the Bluegrass on Ballard Festival. It was hit but had a lot of shade and a decent breeze. Really enjoyed the music

Its a great little park in the middle of downtown, there isn't much shade and the free book share house is in need of repair, but its a decent park for a quick visit in town

I enjoyed the location of this park. The town it’s in is small and has some eateries i would like to visit. Sadly i went on a holiday and the stores near by were closed.

Great park. Good size play ground. There's a covered part with picnic table. There's bathroom on sight. The parks department keep it clean and well maintain. You can schedule time in the cover part for gathering. Like birthday party or other group gathering.

One of the best family parks there is in this city. I grab the kids, and my Bluetooth. The diversity music I select always draws the people over. Great way to get the kids to have a jolly old time.

This surly wasn't the 1st yr. So they should have been better prepared for the traffic..It's sad that we had to sit where we parked for an hour..because they had no one directing traffic. Some of the people trying to get out were really rude...because there time was more important..

I've been here before but this visit on Sunday morning it was clean and quiet with a few families. Wood chips are gone and also the play equipment seems new. Great place for the family

very nice, large park. lots of structures for kids to play on. has a covered pavilion with picnic benches. also a big field to throw frisbee, football, or kick a soccer ball around. has its own parking lot and also street parking nearby. You can also walk around downtown Wylie from here, so it's a great spot for a park. Lots of events happen here year around.

Just a park. Nothing special. We had fun on the swings though. Hey, adults like playing too, right? 😉. There was a bit of litter here and there, and the flowers needed more watering. Otherwise well-kept. They have a book swap box for kids. Lots of cute kid books.

👍 We have been coming to founders park for many many years. It started as an awesome park that was boasting with kids and parents playing. At some point, the wooden park had been deteriorating as that is what wood does over time. We stayed away because there were many rotted and flimsy parts. Today we...

👍 It was a bit off the beaten path but we found it with Google maps. We didn't have a boat and the area we were supposed to go to was blocked off (which we didn't discover until AFTER we'd already paid to get in!) We went anyway and parked by the boat dock. We walked around for a little while. Taught...

👍 Last of the swimming beaches in the Dallas area. Had the place pretty much to ourselves and had a great time introducing our golden retriever puppy to swimming.
