I love this park. This is my go to place whenever I have time. It is so big and has so many things to offer. It has cricket, football(soccer)and baseball grounds. It has a park with a pond where you can do bird watching, fishing, feed ducks. It has a trail too. There is a play area for kids and pavilion with grills. There is also a volleyball court. There is plenty of parking all over the park. The bathrooms are clean.I have beautiful memories here and would recommend anyone to visit this place.

The family and I had a great day outdoors here. We spent almost 5 hours fishing and walking around. Caught a few bass didn't take pictures of a majority of them though.

Really big park. Lots of soccer fields and even cricket fields. Very nice and clean restroom. But parking is too little and it should have a Red light for turning in from the main road as well as for going out to the main road.

This is a nice park with a lot of soccer fields and a big trail which is around 2 miles atleast..there is a small pond and a smaller trail as well with a kids park. They are currently renovating the kids park with possibly more amenities…they also have cricket grounds which conduct matches for Dallas cricket league

UPDATE Oct 2022: Big new improvements in park in last 12 months. Work was completed in 2021 to convert the soccer fields on south side from grass to artificial turf for year round all weather playing field. This year kid's playground in southeast corner next to school has been completely made over along with volleyball and basketball court. Well done. See photos. UPDATE Jul 2021 Latest improvement to remove grass and replace with artificial turf on fields at south side of park near Russell Creek Drive. I posted new photos. Wonderful park located in neighborhood. Extensive playing fields for soccer, cricket, baseball, frisbee football, lacrosse, you name it. Large pond for waterfowl come to eat and live year round. Very attractive for migrating birds as well. Pond stocked so fishermen try their luck all the time. Shade trees around lake with a bench to sit on. Russell Creek trail winds throughout the park; great for walks, jogging, bicycles, etc. Large pavilion by pond which can be reserved via city parks department. Popular place to mediate and 'veg' out..

It's nice park with a lake and lots of open area to play. The picnic area and the shade I found to be small and crowded. But there is ample trail to jog, skating and cycling around the lake. Nice place to spend time in the morning and evening.

Russell Creek Park is a small yet beautiful park. The park features a lovely pond surrounded by a walking trail, making it the perfect spot for a leisurely stroll. The playgrounds available for kids are well-maintained and offer a variety of activities for children to enjoy. One of the best things about Russell Creek Park is the ample parking space available. This makes it easy for visitors to come and go without worrying about finding a spot to park their cars. Huge football basketball and cricket grounds. I love going for a walk every day. If you're in the Plano area, be sure to check it out!

Beautiful park with lots of greenery and trails. There are many sports fields like soccer, cricket etc. There is a trail around a beautiful lake in the park. You will find a modern place playground nearby the lake. The playground has separate play areas for toddlers and big kids. The playground also has shelters, benches and restrooms nearby. There’s a volleyball court and basketball courts near the playground. Also water fountains are in the park. Plenty of parking lots.

Great Place! There are lot trails for walking, running or biking. The park has a play area for children. There is a pond in the park which has some ducks and turtles. The kids will enjoy it here. There are lot of fields for different sports(Volleyball, Basketball, cricket, soccer, etc..) and if your a pokemon go fan, you have got some 4 gyms and 7-9 poke stops around the pond. Overall a nice park!!!

Nice trail for walking or biking. Pavment is even and looks new. The trail can be as long as you want it to be. I did 5 miles. For the most part. The trail goes along a neighborhood and is not fully shaded. Keep that in mind during hot summer days. Dogs are welcome and must be on a leash.

Russell Creek Park is a hidden gem in the northern part of Plano. Aside from the walking trails, there are also a lot of sporting amenities present there - including a volleyball court. Weekends are great for soccer events. It's a great place to go.

I definitely didn’t realize what a hidden gem this park is. It’s massive and I usually only see the practice fields but it has an amazing lake, beach volleyball court and a great playground!

My sons have been playing tournaments here for 20 years. The fields are good but the bathrooms need some love. The newer one in the middle is nice but the smaller one with the half walls needs a remodel. It always smells like sewage. The walls are so low the boys crouch to change.

Great manicured soccer fields with shaded bleachers for spectators. Bathroom facilities are well maintained. Just needs more opportunities for food & beverage vendors. Be sure to pack a cooler for snacks and drinks. Parking was plentiful and fields are well marked.

Peaceful! Great place to walk alongside the creek in the evening. I usually grab snacks and find a bench near the creek to sit and watch sunset. Spacious parking lot , well maintained walking trails.

Huge park! Plano keeps their parks so amazing. Such a benefit to Plano residents to have such great facilities. The only disadvantage is this one is so large the pavilions are a little harder to find. And no signage for pavilions. Signage was only for courts and fields.

Fabulous walking trails for all ages! Soccer fields, softball fields, huge pond for fishing or just watching all the different birds & turtles. Volleyball court, playground, benches scattered around the pond. Great trails for bike riding as well.

This place is a nice park with a fountain in the center of it. There is a play ground for young kids as well. Our daughter enjoys the ducks & turtles in the pond. It's good to go out & see other people nd kids play & walk here. People enjoy picnic as well here. There's public rest room which is good & diaper change area is there as well in it.

Lovely place for a quick walk, watching the anglers and the geese and ducks. Weekends are a bit tight as there are too many walkers but the trail is long so still a good place to walk.

😐 I prefer coming later when there are less people as the park is not laid out well compared to other parks in the area. It Can get real busy here. I have a large dog. I have issues sometimes with the smaller dogs. There is a small dog area next to the large dog area but i find that people still bring...
