Very popular place to go to as they offer different attractions, restaurants, stores, etc. You can find most of your favorite Hollystood celebrity stars on these streets which was cool to see. There is a lot of homeless people just laying around which is sad to see and there are people who will try to approach you asking for money or donations so be prepared for that. I recommend going to see this area at least once in your life.

We were in Los Angeles for a four days and the walk of fame is a must if you ever go. It is free and you can chill and see as little and as much as you want. A lot of interesting shops and things to do along the way to break it up. Well worth the visit.

I didn't like it here because it was very dirty. A lot of homeless people from whom there was a sharp, unpleasant smell. Everything around was dirty. You can't go to the toilet anywhere, even if your children already really want to go to the toilet ((You won't be allowed to eat if you don't have a covid-19 vaccine card. In general, I was not happy with this place ((

Awesome! And take a bus tour while you're at it. They really teach you a lot about Hollywood and surrounding communities and how they came about. It's so interesting. It's currently $50,000 per star to get a star after nominated. Super fun walk up and down

If you are a hollywood fan then this is a must see, there are homeless people around but it's fairly safe. There are police patrolling the area and they are friendly. There are people who are in costume and it's up to you how much you want to give when you take a picture with them. Those that we met are very friendly and won't hassle you. Be kind to them. They do this for a living, give out of your generous heart. Wolverine is the best!

First time ever checking out The Hollywood Walk Of Fame and it was really cool. It's also like a scavenger hunt trying to find names. Good amount of homelessness but if you just mind your own business you should be good. Lots of people trying to take photos for money and selling stuff too. Worth checking out!

Love it here, easy parking to find . I enjoyed the date time View it’s more for family that have kids. During the daytime there’s a lot of things to do with the family . The nightlife here it’s OK to bring your kids but it will be overcrowded with a lot of adults. The nightlife is so much fun so many things to do I will definitely recommend this place to everyone.

Walking the Hollywood walk of Fame is free. Parking usually is not. Most places are $10-25 for parking. It's fun to walk around and see the stars and shops. Yes, there is homeless, people on drugs, etc but it's an experience. And there's plenty to do. From different lol good shops, food trucks and souvenir stores. There's capital records, old hotels, Ripley's museum, wax museum, clubs etc. Something for everyone.

I had a fantastic time visiting the Hollywood Walk of Fame! The iconic stars on the sidewalk, each representing a legendary figure in the entertainment industry, were truly impressive. It was a bit crowded, but the energy and excitement of the place were contagious. I enjoyed taking photos and strolling down the boulevard, trying to spot my favorite celebrities' stars. It's a must-visit attraction for anyone interested in the history of Hollywood and the entertainment world.

It is just a walk by reading the artist's name, and I feel it's overrated. But it was exciting for the first visit looking for a familiar artist name.We went late evening around 6 pm and parked the car in Ovation hollywood mall for 3$ ( have to shop or dining) for 2 hours. There were few street food. The place is tidy enough.

Hollywood walk of fame is about the legacy of stars from various fields of film making who worked towards excellence and carved a niche with their lifetime works. It is great to see the signs but it would be great if the local city council does special events to explain it’s significance and maintain the neatness of the walkways. It’s free to walk around but finding ideal car parking space in Hollywood city is challenging

I was there during Christmas and new year break, walk of Fame is absolutely amazing and must if you are visiting that place, it was crowded, which is completely acceptable given it was holiday season, there are couple of different attraction also located nearby such as Chinese theater, Dolby theater (fact - place where Oscar is held) and many more attraction, you can also see Hollywood sign in distance. Try to go as early as possible, you might catch glimpse of actor/actresses and celebrity as they go to nearby gyms. Tip/suggestions- keep some hard cash with you, because parking place only take cash ($20) and if you don't have cash they ask you to use ATM machine, where you get charged $12 extra.!!!

Once in a lifetime experience. You feel like Hollywood star when you walk here. Would recommend to everyone to visit if possible. You will get amazed to see hand and foot prints of your favorite actors. You will keep searching your favorite actors name and will find everyone. You can go either day or in nights but feeling is same.

Exciting walk with kids that brings back memories. I took my two kids 14 and 5 here during the day on a weekday, it was easy and they we all enjoyed it. Recommend for: everyone Pros: free, safe crosswalks, safe feeling during the day, lots of restaurants and activities. Cons: parking is challenging, restrooms are limited (many places do not have public restrooms) so plan ahead. I wasn’t that excited about this but felt I had to give it a try. First off everyone is looking down reading stars and we only bumped into two people. Everyone was super nice about that and people were respectful about taking photos with star giving others time for photos. Their were lots of tour companies offering bus or van tours of the area sights for around $20. And their were a few street performers around, not too many since it was mid day on a week day. Walking down the street was a walk down memory lane. I saw a lot of naked I have not seen in years. The sidewalk is flat and in good shape. If you are disabled most of the street crossing are ramped and have audio and visual indicators.

Loved it down there the only thing I was disappointed in that since I'm from Omaha Nebraska I was trying to get to Arnold Schwarzenegger star to get a picture but it was closed off from a dam crime scene. But I did get others pictures and love the stores I even got my own Hollywood Walk A Famethat I'm so excited to work on here at home. Great Restaurants as well so many to choose from. I definitely will be making another trip and hopefully I can get that picture of Arnold Schwarzenegger since I'm a huge fan.

One of the best attraction that you could enjoy in Hollywood Bld for free! However my experience was disturbed by a man wearing Startrek custom, as he offered to take photo with him.. eventually demanded $20 tip. I eventually gave him the tip, although i think it is too much.

Few blocks away from the Walk Of Fame,.you will see camping on the street for people don't have a house. Even if they say, tent is there home. It'a my 1st time at Hollywood and the reality is, it"s only in the movie those nice place. My GPS brought me in the back road and saw the reality of people just camping (homeless) and on the other side of the street were big house. I was driving and you can see a 1 Million Dollar houses on the other block and a 100 Dollar Tent. Just couldn't understand. Pretty sure those 1 Million Dollar houses only 10% of it excluding the garage were utilize. Who do you think for those who live and used most of the space, is it the people who live in the tent or those who live in the Million Dollar house. You know the answer. I always dreamed to be a Millionaire but seeing after that, it change my perspective. Share the blessings. Spread kindness.

I was really excited to see this place. In reality it is a little underwhelming. There are a lot of homeless people here. Spotting name of stars you know is difficult.. I recognised a few after walking for sometime. The street has a lot of souvenir stores with good stuff, bunch of restaurants, theatres,.. I feel its better to drive through this place.

The famous pedestrian with star tiles of the most influential people in Hollywood and the world to be fair. I didn't have much time to walk over all of them to find the Jim Carrey star (he's my favorite 😊). The stars do span quite a distance. The only star that doesn't lay on the floor is of Muhammad Ali. It's located on the wall in front of the Dolby Theater. This is to respect the name Muhammad not to be stepped on.

What can I say.. it’s crowded, people constantly trying to sell you their music, food, water, shirts. There’s a few stores around and restaurants. If you want to take a picture of a star you have to rush. It’s a once in a life time to me anyway. Sad to see all the homeless people around there which make the experience less than great.

A must do for your 1st time visit to Hollywood… I myself have been there a few times but finally was able to walk this strip… Wear comfortable shoes… I prefer the morning times 10am… Less foot traffic and not as hot. You have time to look for at each Star without bumping into people. Have a few $ for cool souvenirs and follow the map! *Watch for the amount of Homeless and aggressive pan handling*

If you ever come to Los Angeles, you should definitely visit the Hollywood walk of fame. Obviously coming in the morning is better than afternoon as it's less crowded. There are lots of things to explore such as chinese and museum of illusion. It's a not a fun place for children though as it doesn't look nostalgic to them. You can take a look at photos and videos I've taken.

Great place visiting your favorite celebrity. If you are ever going to LA for vacation, always go to the Hollywood road. The walk of fame is endless! But if your trying to find a place to park, it’s going to be really hard. Still my best decision!

The Hollywood Walk of Fame is an iconic sidewalk along Hollywood Boulevard featuring more than 2,600 brass stars embedded with the names of notable personalities from the entertainment industry. Honoring achievements in film, television, music, and more, it's a celebrated symbol of fame and recognition. Tourists often stroll along the Walk of Fame to spot their favorite stars and soak in the glamour of Hollywood.

  • 5/5 Jenny Y. 6 months ago on Google
It's almost unbelievable. It is part of American history. You can see most everything in under an hour and most people are very obliging if you need them to move to take photos. Some of the stars are in need of repair. I would recommend coming here early on a Saturday or Sunday. You might find free parking down one of the side streets. There is a Target nearby for drinks, but it has no restroom. The TCL Theatre has restrooms and I recommend taking a tour of the historic building. In-and-Out Burger down the street across from Hollywood High to take a lunch break.

Great for tourist but leave before 3 otherwise you'll be stuck in LA traffic which is bumper to bumper from 3 to 6:30pm. Some sidewalks have homeless and less desirable smells. See your favorite stars use trader Joe's on vine for public restrooms.Restrooms. North and vine has public parking 4$ for 2 hours amaizing deal for parking ramp fees.

We were lucky enough to be accommodated on the Hollywood Walk of Fame during our stay. That's why we walked down this long street full of world-famous stars many times. There we visited the film museum, attended a performance at the Chinese Theater and, with great luck, won tickets for a guided tour of the Dolby Theatre. There was no shortage of random movie stars either.

Walk of Fame was a very exciting and very interesting.. we had a blast. I feel like the side walks could be a little more cleaner but, heavy traffic walks runs tourist I understand why it’s so dirty. Overall it was a very good time. Tupac Shakur is the main reason for my visit.. we loved it and will be back soon..

What's not to love? It's wonderful to stroll around the Walk of Fame and see iconic names of film, music, television, radio and live performance. I wish there was some sort of fund to repair the damaged stars and that there was a way to have sustainable businesses in the closed up shop but it was a lovely walk down memory lane.

The Hollywood Walk of Fame is an iconic destination that lives up to its legendary reputation. Stretched along the bustling streets of Hollywood, this attraction is a tribute to the entertainment industry's brightest stars. Walking down the sidewalk, you'll be surrounded by the names and symbols of some of the most celebrated actors, musicians, directors, and other luminaries. It's a stroll through the annals of Hollywood history and a testament to the enduring allure of show business. What struck me most about the Walk of Fame is the sense of nostalgia and excitement it evokes. As you spot the stars bearing the names of your favorite celebrities, it's hard not to feel a sense of connection with the entertainment world. The opportunity to take photos with your beloved stars' stars is a highlight. While the Walk of Fame is often crowded, it's worth navigating through the throngs of fellow admirers. The street performers and costumed characters add to the lively atmosphere, creating a unique blend of entertainment and culture. One thing to remember is that the area around the Walk of Fame is quite touristy, and you'll find plenty of shops, restaurants, and attractions. It's a great place to experience the energy of Hollywood, but also be prepared for the typical tourist scene. In conclusion, the Hollywood Walk of Fame is a must-visit spot for anyone exploring Los Angeles. It's a chance to walk in the footsteps of the stars and immerse yourself in the glitz and glamour of the entertainment world. It's a reminder of the dreams and legends that continue to shape Hollywood.

A popular tourist attraction in LA. It is a sidewalk that stretches along Hollywood Boulevard and Vine Street and is lined with stars bearing the names of famous actors, musicians, directors, and other celebrities. It is a fun and entertaining experience. Walking along the sidewalk and searching for the stars of your favorite celebrities is like a scavenger hunt, and it can be a great way to spend an afternoon or evening. Free and open to the public 24 hours a day. Visitors can take their time strolling along the sidewalk, taking photos, and reading the names and achievements of the various celebrities honored with stars.

Off course, a must visit place of you are in LA, but is does not mean a nice and comfort spot to spent time. It is a very long street with thousands of Hollywood iconic names on the floor. I expect the place is a nigh class and we'll maintain, but no, it is just a street with a lot of souvenirs shops. The areas a bit dirty though. The good part, you can take picture of Hollywood sign from distance from on of the shopping mall.

The famous Hollywood Walk of fame is about 2 miles (I think). It has most of your fave Hollywood stars. Good stroll down Hollywood Boulevard with some cafes, restaurants, theates etc & the metro is along here as well. It's a nice stroll on both sides with some cool artwork along the way.

Definitely place on many bucket lists. If you have big expectations, you might be disappointed. Place is dirty, a lot of homeless people, a lot of drugs, no toilets, (you will find one in the theaters). But... you can see a lot of things that you won't see in your home town. The government should clean up this place. This should be a place for tourists.

An iconic place of Hollywood. Since it’s free, I recommend you go there to take some photos. There are nothing else interesting to see though. You can go there by metro with the station Hollywood/Highland. Some men on the street will try to give away the discs but don’t take it.

Very cool, classic Hollywood scene. There’s plenty of free street parking as well as paid parking lots nearby. The stores are fine and definitely overpriced but this is to be expected. Some homeless people around but they don’t bother anyone. I never felt unsafe.

Must see when in LA. Affordable parking, free experience if you just want to wander and explore. Fun for the family. Don’t need too much time for it so you can tag into other activities in the area. We went to La Brea tar pits before this, and still made Rodeo Drive after.

A must when visiting LA. Lots of people around the Chinese theater part of the walk. Lots of people selling tours but not over bearing like other tourist traps. Don’t park in the lot kiddy corner from the Chinese theater, way too expensive. You can find one for $12 if you walk down a half a block. The walking strip is actually much longer than I expected. The north side of the street is mostly actors and the south side is mostly musicians. Enjoyed visiting this place but remember it is a tourist trap.

My visit to the Hollywood Walk of Fame was a mixed experience. While it's undeniably an iconic landmark, I couldn't help but notice that the area was somewhat lacking in cleanliness. There was more litter and trash than I had expected, which took away from the overall charm. Additionally, I felt that the safety aspect was a concern, especially in the evening. It's essential to be cautious and aware of your surroundings when exploring this area. While it's a must-visit for the stars and entertainment history, it might not be the cleanest or safest part of town

A must see to check the box on your bucket list. Not the most glamorous part of time. Always have trouble trying to find a reasonable parking place for a reasonable rate. The Kodak Theatre is part of the walk and is a nice place to sit and relax. There are some options for lunch and drinks.

Finally the boulevard of Hollywood, I take a lot of eyes ! The American dream for any traveler who respects himself the tourist place to see ! Especially not to be missed ! I love to breathe the American air, well actually, we have a lot of tramps and then ? In any case, it didn't spoil my vacations, on the contrary it put my feet on the ground! It also means that America can give you everything and take everything away in a snap of the fingers.

I had a great time! It’s a nice walk of touristy shops with friendly staff. Be sure to check out street food…delish! Also check Groupon. For $14.40 you can get your name on a star for a photo op. If you are clever enough, bring your own letters for the many empty stars!

The Hollywood Walk of Fame is famously even it itself, and a major tourist attraction. I had mixed reactions when I visited because a lot of the stars were either cracked or had smudges on them. I get it that a lot of them are old/have been there for decades. It's also difficult to stop to take pictures with them due to the sheer number of people walking to and fro. I mainly just took pictures with my leg on the various stars. A directory of all the celebrities and their respective general locations would have been a good catch. It's good to just say you've been there.

  • 5/5 Shiki D. 5 months ago on Google
Recognized lot more stars than I thought I would. It is a long pathway of stars that extends longer than just the main walk path. The main area to check out I would say is near the TCL Chinese theater where you can see lot of more recent celebrities although you might miss some of your favorites if you don’t do the entire walk unfortunately. Get ready to use some brain capacity as well to recollect some celebrities that might be somewhere in the depths of your memory haha. But an easy Google helps a lot!

What a beautiful place to visit if you are in California you have so many things in just one place I love this Hollywood Walk. There are plenty of restaurants and so many things to see and they also have parades going. You can also see the Hollywood sign from Hollywood walk of fame, you can go to Madame Tussaud’s museum they just walking distance. They also have a paid parking in that area . It’s a very very crowded place so don’t carry too many valuable steps with you.

awesome experience. Would have loved to buy a fruit cup that has been offered everywhere but 12$ is just so much! Very cool to search for the star of your favourite star and just to feel the special vibe and see all those special people and shops. Must do on a trip to L.A.!

It's a must to walk the walk of fame when visiting Hollywood, however the street was dirty and did not smell good?

How in the world this stinky street can be an attraction? At least try to keep the stars without spills and pee

Fun, with loads to look at. There was some unhoused folks and some I literally watched them smoke from a crack pipe right there on the sidewalk... but I had a fun time at the bars and stores. BTW- all the souvenir shops were basically the same thing.

walk of fame feels like a star.. All though there are sign of deformity of tiles. Better care needs to be taken. park in a public parking and walk down from vine steert. it's a free walk 2.1km.

It was good but parking is a hassle so be watchful plus Sunday is more problematic with parking.

It's an amazing experience and should be on your go see sometime list. It's free to see all the stars, and they line both sides of the street. It's fun to find stars of your favorite entertainers. The most recent trip I specifically wanted to see is Christina Applegate and Pentatonix. Super excited that I found both. I have been twice, once in October 2017, and again in April 2023. The first thing I noticed both visits was the smell. It's a moldy pot kind of smell, so be prepared for the stench. It is much dirtier than expected. The photos you see of events there cut out what they don't want you to see. There are lots of great shops but only one bathroom at the mall which is not at all convenient. Lots of people out and about dressed as famous people, it's exciting at first but the expect cash is you take any photos with them. There is so much history here that is amazing, but at the same time, it's very jankity. I highly recommend only visiting during daylight hours. It gets very dicey at night.

Grumman's Chinese man theater, the history is amazing. I love the fact that the premiers still happen there as well. It's definitely a site to see, on top of the footprints, hands and the writings of many famous people.

Hollywood is always a terrific place to visit... if you truly enjoy the "City Life"... so much to do, see, experience, well... need I say more... a place for Family, Friends, long leisure walks, not to mention... the "STARS" .... Oh, the stars!!! Too many to count. A must see for tourist's!!! Thanks Hollywood.. its been a blast, each and every time I've visited your City. ❤️

Very cool. Definitely a must do as a tourist. The area is a little intimidating, especially at night. Bring a fully charged phone and or camera. Try and walk the whole length. If you see sketchy people on the sidewalk. Don't look at them just keep walking. Have some street smarts.

The Walk of Fame on Hollywood boulevard is basically times square in New York City. It's way longer than I thought it would be, with some sections of it having single stars while others have double stars. It runs both sides of the street for probably 8 or 9 blocks if not more. Tons of cool little gift shops and places to eat close by.
