10/25/23 Ive changed my rating to 5 stars because I decided to give it another try today and it definitely was a better experience. Food and customer service was great. I would definitely go back. First time here at 11:40 am and the guy there was on the phone left me waiting there and never even came to say to give him a few minutes. He saw me and continued to be on his phone. I waited maybe a little more than 5 min but when you are just standing there waiting for someone to serve you those 5 min seem like an eternity. Like I said I could of easily waited if he would of at least acknowledge me and told me to give him some time!

Ribs are very good. Sauce is tasty. However the wings are NOT GOOD. The flavor is decent, but they are wayyyyy too breaded. There's more bread than chicken. I'll still patronize this place, but the wing company should be replaced. 🤘🏾

This is my new spot, the meat is cooked so well and it’s tender. The rice is flavorful and the potatoes are perfect, crispy on the outside and lite on the inside. Try it for yourself!!

I absolutely LOVE Craven BBQ Linden, NJ location. The owner is very down to earth & personable. The food, OMG is mouth watering delicious! I’ve been to many Portuguese restaurants & this one is my #1 favorite especially after work. Those nights when just don’t feel like cooking or you want to grab something for lunch, I highly recommend stopping by for a sit down or to go meal. Enjoy!!!

I ate at Craven today and I was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant was modern and clean. I was greeted by Danny who was very helpful and kind. The cheesesteak was an actual steak sandwich; the fries were fresh cut and hot! I will be returning soon. I saw salmon steaks on the menu and look forward to trying it next time. I will be recommending it to friends and family.

Great spot for sure. The food is on point and the customer service is great. Spoke with the manager/owner earlier today. He made sure to ask how was the food and service. He is a hands-on manager for sure. I will be ordering from here again.

This is my go to Portuguese food place and I don’t even live in Linden but the drive is 1000% worth it. The food never disappoints and the customer service is great. Very attentive and friendly/polite. Even reheating the ribs if you have leftovers still taste SO good which is so rare. 100% recommend this place.
