Very nice place to go on a walk with a partner or on your own. The further down you go following the river the less crowded it was when I went. There are trails, public pools, fishing sites, field for different sports and lots of parking throughout.

This park is life. This Rahway River Park is a gem. I'm constantly escaping the daily stress and mundane pettiness of the everyday life by finding refuge in this park. Listening to the water sounds and just admiring the green vegetation and celebrating the birds and other creatures.

Nice little park it has a picnic area a playground plenty of running and cycling space. Usually food trucks will park near it so you can get a good bite and go eat something while sitting by the lake. It's definitely a great place to bring kids

Undoubtedly one of the best parks in NJ for running, biking, taking a casual walk or even just sit and chill. At any point of time, you can see all age groups enjoying at the park. It has many parking spots around the park. It's beauty is further amplified in the summer with thick trees around.

My entire family loves going to this park. this place has way too many options for you no matter what age you are. Mini playgrounds for toddlers and kids, swings and slides. my toddler doesn't wanna come back from the park ever. we usually visit the park after the office, and walk around the place while my toddler play at the swings and slides. There's a beautiful long trail too equipped with exercise apparatus that includes instructions on how to use it. it feels so nice to walk along the river and its an instant stress buster activity. this park has a swimming pool too which we haven't used it yet but i heard its nice and clean. so will be planning on using it soon on a nice warm day. The restrooms here, i wont say are sqeaky clean instead i’d rate them as 7/10 on the basis of cleanliness. plus there's a football ground, a separate bicycle way and amazing views. Thousands of colorful trees, lots of green grass and happy people working out. Overall, a great place to enjoy nice breeze, greenery and fitness activities.

Absolutely beautiful park. I’ve been regularly walking here. Clean and no problem with parking. Walking along the river, you will encounter nature- ducks, geese, turtles, and bluejays. I suggest wear comfortable sneakers when walking at this area, as it’s not smooth & even.

The Rahway river is bit dirty however you will find good spots to eat with 2 spots for children playground. Easy flat walking in a loop. If you do not get parking in designated spots then park in side of the street. Goose, turtles and ducks are nice to be spotted as well.

Looking for some serene time? Go to Rahway Park. Clean and always beautiful. The river is full. Birds chirping. Trees still lush and colorful. Families out barbequing and having birthday parties. Couples with hammocks. Team sports. Lots of seating. Great paths to walk, run or bike on. Hunny and I loved our time together!

My favorite place for jogging. Nice locality. Cops are always around the main parking so not to worry. In summer group of Spanish people play baseball and football on every Sunday. Really beautiful place.

Very nice place to hold an event. The park is huge so there is plenty of space for everyone to spread out. Good amenities and a large pool to cool off in. Built in bbq grills are all over the park. Great place to do some fishing if that's your thing. Will return.

Very nice park with asphalt trail. Very well maintained. Lots of playgrounds and a nice pool that had a large line waiting to get in. Restroom was clean.

Perfect place to take young children! I took my 3yr old nephew here a couple days ago and he loved it! There are two parks where children can play and across from it are benches if you are having a party or just want to relax! I greatly recommend this place!

Great park, pretty large, has almost everything you could think of doing in a park -- swimming pool, playground, walking paths, pond/river, picnic spots, bathrooms. There is a larger parking lot and a smaller parking lot on the right hand side. Can get pretty busy on weekends, but still there are open spaces or open picnic tables. Some picnic areas are reservations only (go to the Union County parks website and book for a fee), while most of the ones on the right hand side of the road are non-reservable and are first-come, first-serve. However, Hilltop Picnic area and Lakeside Picnic area (marked with signs) are reservations only. The park is like an insulated nature area in Rahway, which is cool. The only thing is that you'll see trash sometimes on the ground and that's a bit unfortunate.

I just moved to the area and brought my kids here last weekend. They had a ball. The pool is huge and it wasn't too crowded at all. We came right when they opened at noon, so there was a bit of a line to get in, but it moved pretty quickly. There's ample places to sit around the pool as well.
