Went for dinner with my father. The restaurant was clean and had a friendly staff. The food was terrific and exceeding expectations. We bought paneer pakora, diwani handi, bullet naan, tandoori roti, and veg dum biryani. All the food was very flavorful and presented nicely. The proportions were large and allowed us to take food home. Would recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

NEW PLACE! Check It Out! Great Food! Great Customer Service! I had the Chicken Dum Biryani (it’s basically chicken & rice with all the wonderful flavors & spices of India). I don’t mind hot spicy 🌶 🥵 but today I asked for mild and Kumar did everything he could to accommodate without losing the flavor of the food. The white sauce (seen in photos) helped quite a bit as he said it would. The other sauce was more like a peanut flavor….good also but I went in on the white sauce more to tame the heat in my mouth. Overall, highly recommend.

Love the colorful and tasty biriyani, the BEST I’ve had! The price is reasonable and portion is good! White rice comes with the meal, goat curry and butter chicken are soft. Service is attentive too! Will definitely come back!

They make Delicious food, we ordered chicken boneless Biryani and Goat dum biryani they made generous portions, mild spice was perfect. The boneless chicken biryani was great. Garlic naan and the spinach paneer was the best combination, goat curry was so yummy, with mild garlic flavor it was so good, can’t wait to come back 😋

The food was an absolute delight! Each dish was a burst of flavors and beautifully presented. I especially loved the chicken biryani and chilly chicken, which was a culinary masterpiece. The ingredients were fresh and the attention to detail in every bite was evident. They have started buffet recently for only weekends (Saturday’s and Sunday’s) from 12:30 PM to 3:00 PM.

Had dinner for first time. It was very yummy delecious.Goat biryani and dry pepper chicken.chettinad chicken comes with rice. Every item was perfect. Medium to spicy . Had flavor and taste. Recommend this place of you want to have authentic taste of Hydrabadi touch. Service was good. Restroom were clean. Seating was very comfortable. Hygienically they have maintained excellent. Cutlery was shining clean. Had wonderful experience and enjoyed every bit of bite.😊

Found this gem while shopping for our wedding clothes in Edison. Must try. We have eaten most of our meals here while visiting from out of town. Great authentic Indian food. Get the chicken 65 it is incredible! Also if you like goat, the goat nawabi curry was a prefect balance of flavors. Wish we lived closer would eat here all the time!

Every time I order Goat biryani they give me chicken, but they still charge me for goat. This is the second time this has happened.

The meet smells bad, Half cooked food and taste is very bad. We ordered Karam podi kodi. We are not sure that’s the item we ordered.

Persis Biryani is a good destination for authentic food, especially the Andhra and Telanga cuisine. Food choices are carefully thought through. My son loves the chicken curry, butter Naan, Dum-Cooked Chicken Biryani. My wife relishes the vegetarian version - Bagare Baigan, Aloo Gobhi, Veggie Biryani. I personally find myself am somewhere in between these two choices, and I love it. My guests at home have enjoyed the food delivered at my doorstep. If you fancy custom-made food, give'em a call and get ready to taste their magic. Their appetizers - Apollo Fish is tangy, and spicy - to my son's liking. He does not prefer hot food, but he really enjoys his food. Mohammad is cook employed by Persis Biryani, and him and my soon are good buddies. I wish Persis Biryani on Oak Tree Rd, a ton of culinary success. They truly represent a Comman Man's Taste Bud and do everything to make your experience memorable. BYOD (Bring Your Own Drink) sometimes becomes loud, over the Friday night, but that is something to be careful about or perhaps not pay attention to.

Great food great service great hospitality . Starting from the food TASTY with good quantity . The owner and his crew all make you feel at home . Shiva is the star i happened to ask for masala chaas which they didnt have he went out of his way and got it made fresh for us which shows their concern for their guest and hospitality . Kudos to all of them . The food speaks for itself , apollo fish is amazing have to try , the curry chicken , the biryani and their garlic naan out of the world its thin soft crispy havent had such good naan anywhere else and not to forget the masala chaas different from the usual and rreally good. Byob for alcohol what more can you ask for . Cant wait to take more of my friends and family to this new found hidden gem . Food was decent, loved their Goat/chicken Biryani along with their entries.Their Salan is really good like proper salan which wasn’t that great at almost all the Biryani places, it was really satisfying to have it with Biryani. Had Apollo fish, chilly chicken and Chicken Tandoori , Goat Suka which was really too good . You will enjoy the food 😍

First been to this Persis, order veg and paneer briyani with mnago lassi. Had a nice exp. Briyaninwas yummy as always. Staff was very genuine and has good communication. Will def visist again.

Great food and service. We stopped on our way out before heading home as we were visiting out of state, we got a few apps and let me tell you how good they were! We wished we had an appetite for more because that’s how good the apps were. We will definitely visit them again when we come back to New Jersey. The lady and the gentlemen were very sweet and appreciative as well!

Ordered delivery through door dash. Disappointed, Food did not taste good at all. Gobi manchurian and malai kofta were stale. Paneer kadai full of oil. Chicken malai kebab again dry and stale. Chicken biryani was only dish that tasted decent. Had bad stomachs next day.

Delicious food, server was attentive, generous portions, mild spice was perfect. The boneless chicken biryani was great. My boyfriend loved his chicken mugalai, and we both loved the garlic naan and gobi manchurian. We can’t wait to come back 😋
