Monumental sculpture by Oaxacan Francisco Toledo. It is a 10x20 meter fountain and can be observed from different perspectives to discover the reptiles among the scales of the earth where they swirl. The style of Toledo became an urban monument, tourist attraction and political show. It is made of fiberglass and was inaugurated in 2008.

A very beautiful structure in the fountain that is located on one side of the Macroplaza. And it is part of the Santa LucĂa promenade canal. Which is observed from different points giving a great perspective of its beauty.

This is a fun little statue in the water but the museum. While it isn't something you have to see if you come to Monterrey, it is a nice area to sit down and catch your breath.

It's a little neglected lately, but it's wonderful to appreciate all the details in it. It is a giver of life and you have to breathe and take the time to appreciate all the details above and at ground level. It is a shame that they allow it to deteriorate, because it is a great addition to a city lacking in culture like Monterrey. Lovely.

A mysterious sculpture, the legend says that while the river grew overflowing, a lizard found refuge up a mountain in a cave and along with it turtles, fish and frogs, when the water level dropped the lizard could not get out, and survives by eating fish, turtles and frogs
