The most pathetic hotel I have stayed in at the age of 65 yrs. I travel a lot, but this was really bad. Certainly not value for money. Probably the most expensive price paid for a hotel to date. Asked for a wake-up call and they forgot. No tea/coffee facilities in the room. Mattress was poking with springs and had to ask them to change. Dialled “0” from the room on a Saturday, and was told the person at the standard comes in only at 0830 hrs. Restaurant, service very poor and food overpriced. Advice people to walk across to the mall and you have plenty of choices.

Well located safe hotel in Monterrey. The staff are extremely helpful to all your needs and are super friendly/polite. They have a lovely pool, gym and relaxing area at the back of the hotel which is well worth a visit. The rooms are all decent in size, albeit a bit tired. The hotel was built in 1995, and updated in 2011, so could do with some freshening up. The breakfast service is very slow so you should allow 1 hour from sitting down to finishing.

Spent 9 days here. People were nice but it is not maintained well. They left me chocolate covered strawberries one night in my room, which was nice but maid left plate on hallway floor for two days... also the the construction is not nice looking. I had the breakfast buffet one day and it was horrible, I then ordered breakfast off the menu and it was just ok... for the prices they charge you would think everything would be perfect

This hotel is amazing. We had an issue with our deposit but management sorted it in a timely manner due to an error with our bank. Highly recommended hotel with great facilities for the conference we had there and in the best area of Monterrey. Pool, gym and breakfasts were outstanding, room and bed exactly as you would expect from a high quality hotel. Thank you Quinta for helping us to resolve the issue.

Beautiful hotel in downtown Monterrey. Courteous, friendly staff. Huge rooms. Watch out for the small step down into the bedroom, easy to trip over. Breakfast service was slow. Food was not put out until more than 30 minutes after the restaurant opened.

Great hotel with spacious rooms and d grand decor. Restaurant with violin player for special atmosphere. Formal breakfast with a la carte menu (vs the usual buffet). Clean. Very well located with lots of good restaurants options. Very safe.

I've read some bad reviews however our stay was great. The room was cold and the water hot. It was nice and it had a great feel to it. It isn't modern but that's what we liked about it. It was part of the decor. The pool was nice size and secluded. The gym is what I liked the most. It had machine weights and dumbbells. We had to stay in 1 night and the room service was quick. Our check in was quick and valet was always available to bring our car up quick. The area was walking distance from the mall, a Starbucks across the street and some fine restaurants. We ate Dinner at Sonora Prime, a wonderful Steak House in which it was a short walk. We would stay again. It was a cozy stay.

During my stay, I had the impression that the hotel staff made every effort to offer me with the best service. Here is one example. For my friends who are unfamiliar with the american breakfast menu, I simply requested a picture of the breakfast menu, but they created a new menu with images of each dish in a PDF file. In the some reviews in here, there are some comments that the building and rooms are old, but to me, it was a nice opportunity to experience the beauty of old Mexico. Once again, I'd appreciate the hotel for providing me with excellent service. Special thanks for your kindness, William de Arcos!!

Not great for a 5 start hotel. Air condition didn’t work. Room was old and not well designed. Wi-Fi was very slow.

A SHADOW OF THE PAST. Now it is just OVERPRICED for previous its reputation. What used to be an impeccable hotel is crumbling down due to lack of attention to detail. I gave the manager all my remarks. He seemed to care and he even gave me gis whatsapp to followup. But his boss did not care enough. This top-management disregard to a customer's experience is a big red flag. BOOK ELSEWHERE.

Visited this hotel few years ago, and it now seems that owners have just let this one go down the drain. One attendant to check in a large party with 6 bellboys standing around. Took 30 mins to check in. Window to the courtyard would not lock which meant anyone could have snuck in the middle of the night. Everything in the room was probably 15 years old. Skip!!!

Stayed here for my sister’s wedding and it was a good experience. All the staff were very polite and they were able to help us with our stuff once we were settled in, however they seemed a bit judgmental when we first got there trying to book the rooms for our family. I absolutely love the atmosphere of this hotel, it is very quiet and elegant. I’ve seen some other reviews talking about it not being modernized enough and I agree but that’s what makes this place so special. I only tried their breakfast one of the days but it was delicious. Their event space was very nice and we had a great time.

Definitely a 5 star hotel in terms of service and rooms. Some of the furniture is a little dated but otherwise nice. Location is very good right next to restaurants across the street. Even the bathrooms are luxury.

This hotel should have only 1 or 2 starts. The service is good but for a family trip, this hotel doesn't offer any major amenities and the smell in the rooms were horrible. No microwave, no ice unless you order room service. Dirty towels as well as the bathtub. No breakfast unless you pay extra and food is expensive and not good at all.

Best hotel in it's class. Loved they get you champagne when you do check in. Staff service is outstanding. Ferragamo shampoo and body milk and other details are noticed and appreciated, will definetely come back :)

Great place for breakfast, the structure of the building is amazing. although I wouldn't stay for the night. Rooms are too dark with old fashioned decoration. had a really bad experience with the Salon, which you def don't expect on a 5 star hotel.

The hotel is impressive, the decor, size of the rooms, etc. Etc... Staff are not very fluent in English, and it can be frustrating at times, and breakfast self-service had a lot of mexican options, and not very many co continental. Also the cleaning of the room is not very consistent, they would forget to refell your soap, or adding all the towels and robes, so that you do not know from one day to the other if you gonna have enough towels.

Rooms are huge and nicely appointed, with little to no noise heard coming from the street. Perfect location for Monterrey!

Honestly one of the most unusual hotels I've stayed in. I've been there twice, the first time it felt like I was one of the only people staying there. I maybe ran into 3 or 4 other people the whole time; which is weird because of how big the hotel is. The rooms are big and the decorum gives off a fancy vibe but is dated. The beds are okay. I really enjoyed the pool. Honestly not terrible for the prices, but there definitely are more modern options available that should be considered if you're looking to stay in the area.
