Stopped by this restaurant to have a nice meal of gbegiri and ewedu. The food was really good and the assorted meat was standard. Only downside was that the fufu i requested felt a bit stale and really hard. So I had to get amala to finish up the soup with it. My guess is there are not so many fufu requests, but I suggest that this is resolved for full premium service.

Was here on Saturday for the “abula” and assorted meats. The amala, gbegiri and ewedu was spot on and delicious.

This was such a pleasant experience for me. I recently moved to London and have been home sick and this restaurant served the most authentic amala, gbegiri and ewedu I have eaten in quite a while. I was so pleasantly surprised. The portions are also very generous. The akara and agege bread I bought to take home were all so delicious. I was truly happy and pleased after my visit. It is definitely a 10/10 for me

The Abula was delicious. Ordered take away edikaikong that did not taste like the traditional food and efo that had way too much stew.

So , nine of us went to eat here because we wanted something out of the normal and wanted to celebrate a mile stone but what we got was terrible. There was just one server and he was overworked, he came to get orders and still had to dish the food for everyone, too much work for only him. We ordered for amala and abula, the food came and the size was enormous but the moment I put my hand inside the amala, the was problem, the amala was hard and cold, the ewedu soup was looking navy blue, like something that has been warmed severally but the meat was soft and good. Over night, everyone started visiting the toilet and I had to reach out to others and realised all nine of us purged for about 24hours, thank God it wasn’t more than that because it could have been worse, we could have died.

the food portions were massive, food wasn't too spicy and it all tasted amazing. we were served about five minutes after sitting down and the service was okay. however, someone who i went with ordered their meal with beef stew, which she did not receive. another acquaintance of my arrived slightly late and told a worker his order. the worker did not take his order and after fifteen minutes he had to ask another employee. however, the employees aren't too good or bad as while someone was receiving a ticket, they alerted the family which owned to car which prevented them from receiving a fine. the tables were a bit close to eachother aswell and the place was a bit crusty (which isn't too big of a deal considering it's an African restaurant). the atmosphere was so lively and the place was packed, showing just how popular the place is. the average of my ratings if 4*; so overall, my rating is four stars. i hope this review helped!

My first time in Peckham and my friend recommended this amala shop, I literally forgot I was in London 🤣🤣🤣. I thought I was my beloved Lagos Island. The abula and assorted meat were hot and perfect and for £15 I got value for my money. All the staff were nice and Olamide who served us is a gem. I bought some moimoi to take away too.

The service was appalling, there was just a server to many people and poor guy was overworked, that made me feel very uncomfortable buy he was very polite. The tables were unclean and plates of eaten food everywhere, no napkins. There were more people in the kitchen than on the floor while the owner just sit shouting orders. The food though was very good . Ive been to this place few times and it's getting worse, I think it's time to give it a miss. If good authentic Nigerian food, bad service, tense and dirty atmosphere is your thing, then it's this place, if you like a complete experience then give it a miss.

We went there to eat Amala the traditional way. Despite getting there late in the evening, the service was swift. Not the cleanest place by any means. We had few blue-bottles patronising the restaurant as well. The staffs were pleasant.

I got Amala and gbegiri with assorted meats, while my husband got yam porriage and kpanla fish. non of this food I mention was fresh all tasted bad. I am a lover of meat but I could not eat meat for the first time. To make matter worse I travelled 2 hours to come eat this food.

The place wasn’t too big, their food is nice. Although it takes time for you to be attended to sometimes depending on the people on ground. Apart from that, the food is nice. Parking space is outside on the street.

Visited this restaurant based on recommendation from a friend. Always enjoy my Abula with assorted meat. To be fair I am a very precise eater. My food came out cold and that was a huge turn off already for me. I like the restaurant because they have various items on the menu, also drink and snacks. My sister enjoyed it alot but for me I would give it a 6/10

The first time I ate authentic Lagos Street food in a long while, the way we used to do way back growing up in Lagos lovely place but they need do a bit more on hygiene.

The food is nice, real Nigerian food. Especially the Amala. It tasted homemade. The only challenge is that their small business space is under a heavy pressure from heavy customer turnout. Overall it's a great place.

Directed to our seat, well attended to, yummy Amala and Gbegiri with badass assorted meat and fresh fish. I mostly love it! Taste was heavenly, reminds me of Naija. 😍😍. Definitely a great place to visit, clean as well. For the Amala and Gbegiri, that's 98.5% for me, I bought Jollof rice and moi moi as takeaway, but was disappointed😥.

Nice restaurant, the prices are really expensive but I guess worth it for the amount of food you get. I ordered the ayamase which I really didn't enjoy so when I go next I wont order that. I would recommend the jollof or amala and abula, lush😍

The restaurant is more like a buka and the food reflects this, really tasty and lots of it 😋 We enjoyed our visit and it was good value for our money
