This is a review for the deli department. Wonderful and helpful ladies who keep the department well organized and clean. I went in for a large order, seven pounds of lunch meat and they were friendly and helpful. The manager was knowledgeable of what I needed. I would highly recommend.

Nothing very exciting about Food Lion. There’s no local feel to it. It’s like any other basic grocery store I’ve ever been in around the country. For the price it’s very affordable for everyday items, but if you’re looking for a local, fresh and different grocery shopping experience, you won’t find it here.

I'm so annoyed with this Food Lion location at this point and Instacart is next. I placed an order thru Instacart yesterday, I received lettuce that expired a month ago with black spots and what looks like close to mold on another part of the lettuce. Although, the person who did the shopping should've noticed, I just don't understand why it hadn't been thrown away and this isn't the 1st time. So today, I give it another try (shame on me smh) because I forgot a couple items. Another Instacart order...the bag of corn on the cob had holes in it and was open at the bottom. Why wasn't that thrown away.

This was a little gem in the hidden surroundings. Most Food Lion stores in Charlotte are in rather questionable areas of town - but this one is smack-dab in the middle of a respectable housing community. Further, they had products that I have been unable to find elsewhere in Charlotte (tho they were carried regularly in the past all over). I am certain to return to this location in hopes that they continue to carry these items for me to enjoy. :-)

This Food Lion in particular is great, never crowded and staff is nice

Been driving down Providence almost everyday for 2 years and JUST noticed this store, so I went in. Very clean. Didn't spend a lot of time in there but it was well organized from what I could see.

Same products as other stores but like 20% cheaper here. And they still have cashiers unlike other places.

Over the last 6 months, I’ve bought numerous items from here I was unable to use. It started with a can of evaporated milk that was YELLOW…turned out it had been expired for months. Ok, maybe I’ll be more careful about checking the dates. Did not matter. I’ve had brussel sprouts with bugs crawling in them, chicken that was rotten before the use by date, packs of fruit where more than half the container had to be thrown out (and that was the best looking case). I’ve shopped here for over 2 years and I’ll have to find a new place to go so that I can actually use what I pay for.

Awful customer service the managers I think their names are Apple and Josh suck and don’t help fix the problem. This whole store is just weird. The floors and bathroom are disgusting. The prices are high. The deli dept is not diverse. Employees don’t wash their hands. It’s just creepy and nasty.
