The service of Sibusiso was outstanding. I called the store for a boxset and despite not having stock he took down my details and got back to me within the same day! He had called every single branch in the country and was able to find the last remaining boxset of what I was looking for. For my convenience he also moved it to his branch so I could purchase it. This is an excellent example of how good service can gain and retain cuatomers because i usually wouldnt visit a branch in a mall but now i will continue to visit this branch in the future ! The company I work for is currently busy revamping a library for an underprivileged school and we needed mass donations of books to stock the library with. Bargain Books provided us with TEN BOXES filled to the brim, no questions asked. Absolutely incredible gesture and I will keep supporting them for the years to come. They have made access to proper literature and education much easier for these learners and we cannot express our gratitude enough. Thank you Bargain Books! It's an awesome place to buy books. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Great deals can be scored there.The only downside is that they do not gift wrap purchases- I was buying books as gifts for a birthday.

Bargain Books is becoming a great brand and the book selection is growing. Visit and browse here to find what you didn't think you were looking for. The prices are good and there's something for young and old.

There was a staff who accused my child of broken the book, which is very clear that the book was slightly damaged before. if the book is torn a little it could be my child and I will definitely be responsible ..

I had a very unpleasant experience earlier on today when I visited Bargain Books in Mall Of Africa. As a teacher for 13 years, never have I ever been accused of “putting something in my bag” (stealing to be blunt) even after purchasing a book titled “Man’s Search for Meaning”. I was on the phone as I reached into my handbag to get my wallet and I had one book on the counter, as a lady named Angie, accused me of having put something into my bag. I then proceeded to tell her calmly that I have not placed anything into my handbag but only reaching for my wallet. I then politely told the lady that I felt insulted and she didn't even bother apologizing. Personally I will never enter that store again after experiencing such treatment and I will not even recommend to anyone because of this lady. It was an embarrassing ordeal that I never want to experience ever again.

On two different accounts I've wanted a book in this store and they didn't have it in stock. They however, have managed to source out the books for me and contacted me once they got it. I really appreciate their employees work ethic, going the extra mile. Big ups..!! 👌🏾👌🏾✊🏽✊🏽
