I’m a hot chip snob & I’m going to have to say these are the BEST I’ve ever had….worldwide! Went twice now & can assure it’s not a fluke! Amazing crispness on the outside with internal fluffiness paired with that delicious chicken salt! I’m kinda glad I don’t live next door to this place or I’ll venturing in on a daily basis. Recommend if you’re going to order their AB, get another serve of chips by themselves as you will regret it if you don’t. Just one small personal opinion that I will ask for less sauce on my AB next time as it was a bit too much.

Super friendly staff, food I'd great and amazingly value for money. This is one of few places I wish encredible success, I'd take photos of the meatballs but I ate them all. This is the place you would go to after a night on the town and want food before you would go home.

Went at around 6pm and there were 5 customers. The chips were fantastic as they lived up to the hype. We ordered the Ab, the meat was great but sadly there was way too much sauces and dressing making it too creamy and rich. If there was less sauce it would be much more enjoyable so make sure you request for that! Apart from that everything else was amazing. Service was extremely friendly. Wish there were more seating space. It’s also pretty cheap if you’re getting a small ab aswell.

Absolutely loved the chips at Kenny's. They are so crispy on the outside and light and fluffy on the inside. The salt they use is incredible, I would say it tastes the same if not better than Chicken Chef salt. The Lamb AB and meatball dishes are amazing as well. The service is amazing and the space in there is so colourful and has a happy feel. Highly recommend anyone to try this place out.

Okay the hot chip competition has been won. These guys are the winners and what’s great is they’re all round nice people too. These chips are the best chips you will ever have. They are perfectly crispy on the outside and perfectly fluffy on the inside. There is no starchy hardness. No limp sadness. Just perfectly deep fried buttery potato happiness. I cannot exaggerate just how good these chips are. Think about the best chip you’ve had and then imagine better. There is life before Kenny’s then life after. What’s crazy is that they take this great chip foundation and then add optional generous toppings. They are not shy on the sauce, gravy or meat and it makes me weep with joy that such a place like this can exist in these crazy times. You could be paying $$$$ for this type of chip in an expensive and exclusive restaurant. Instead they have made it accessible to all because they are clearly and rightly proud of their product and want to share it with everyone. This is high end chip science for the masses. If that’s not enough, the service is also stellar. The woman here is beaming and the guys are so chill. Honestly could not feel more lucky that they have opened this place in Adelaide. If parking on Hindley street wasn’t such a pain, I would possibly be eating here everyday. Thank you Kenny’s. Love you 😍😍

Seriously THE BEST chips I’ve ever had the absolute pleasure of eating. I’ve never had a chip that has that sort of crunch on the outside but remain so incredibly light and fluffy on the inside. This is a must visit for anybody living in or visiting Adelaide.

I’ve only tried the chips (although that was the main reason I wanted to try Kenny’s) and they are DELICIOUS. The potatoes they use are called Kennebac potatoes and it produces amazing chips!! Hand cut in store so the small bits and pieces are unavoidable, but GREAT to eat nevertheless. Unsure about the meat but if anything I’m definitely going back for the chips!!!

The best chips in Adelaide and probably the entire world I have ever eaten!!! Highly recommend this place to everyone who is not allergy to potatoes! Their meatballs are also very delicious!

Definitely up there amongst the best chips i've ever had in my fat middle aged life. Staff were tops too!

Ordered lamb AB. Chips were great and had a nostalgic taste. Would be on the same level as Chicken Chef but for people with different chip texture preferences. Lamb was a bit dry and this was likely due to the cooking method. This still tasted good but not as good compared to the meat from the North Adelaide joints. Chicken salt needs a bit of refinement to be more punchy. Service was excellent. Dude at the front counter was doing his job impeccably. Good option if I were walking around town late night.

The new yiros wraps are SENSATIONAL ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ From the sauce combo to the pita bread which is so good and soft that you would NEVER guess is gluten free (from my non-coeliac husband), I will definitely be ordering these regularly!

Waited for at least 8 min which felt very long for a cup of hot chips. I was about to write this off and question that no chip is worth the wait. Boy was I wrong, the thick cut potato batons were golden all round coated in a thin but satisfyingly crisp shell. Perfectly fluffy potato within, dusted with fine salt that just beckons you to reach in and forget about the wait. I left happy. This is the temple of hot chips and worth the pilgrimage.

Legitimately best chips I've ever had. Tasted amazing the first go round but value for money was absolutely there too as I had more than enough to feast on later that evening. Popped them back in the air fryer for 2-3 minutes. Still crunchy and not just a hollowed out shell of a potato chip remaining, they genuinely reheated to almost as good as the first go. Cannot recommend more highly and I will absolutely be returning. One of the owners Kris who served me was very accommodating and friendly as well. 2 thumbs up, can't wait to come back with some different friends next time to share the glory that these chips were !! 😍👏

Finally a venue that isn't cooking in poisonous seed oils. Seriously the best chips I've ever had in my life, meatballs are amazing so are all the sauces! Keep spreading the good word guys! I'll be back.

Hands down the best, most crispy, flavour filled chips I’ve ever had in Adelaide. Amazing staff, great options. I had chicken Yiros chips with ketchup and samurai sauce. Now I know this place is here I’m sure I’ll have to be careful or I’ll be here every day. It’s clear when owners have passion for what they do. This place is perfection!

They know their chips! Great location on Hindley St with seats out front. This is a new place that’s opened up - focused on hot chips and they’ve nailed it. Good choice after a few drinks. My tip for the best chips in Adelaide.

Seriously the best AB I've had in Adelaide, and I've tried pretty much all the take out restaurants in this city and then some. Chips were super crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside... Meat was tender and delicious though a bit light on the seasonings I thought... and the sauces were to die for, especially the garlic sauce. All that goodness whilst also being the cheapest AB I've found by a pretty significant margin!!! The staff are super friendly here and I will definitely be recommending this place to everyone I know.
