Great trainer, extremely thorough and informative, good venue, unfortunately Mawson Lakes have very parking over 2 hours

As part of the first aid course you have to answear 165 questions in your own time. Who has the time to do that after work reading and answering questions. Keep the course simple not technical. Ive done better simple first aid course before. Maybe everyone should get issued with a take home first aid kit

I would say that was the most positive experience I have had doing a first aid course. The trainer Karen Was fun but no nonsense..I feel I have retained more knowledge and will retain more knowledge through her than in any other first aid class.

Appropriate focus on basic first aid and specific processes with this along with the CPR method on babies and adults. Thoroughly presented. I found it a good refresher and reminders when we have little exposure to using first aid in our daily life. Now I’m ready again if needed.

Karen was a brilliant trainer! Will definitely be coming back to Australia Wide for my CPR and First Aid refresher courses in the future

Had a really good experience with Australia Wide First Aid course. The educator was thorough and easy to understand. She made the day really enjoyable and fun. I had a really good time. I feel confident and competent in being a first aider and performing CPR after completing my training with AWFA. I would highly recommend AWFA training for anybody who are planning to get there certification in CPR and or in First Aid. Thanks AWFA! I will definitely come back for my refresher training!

Shahzad (the trainer) was really good. Very patient and covered all the topics for refresher course thoroughly. Very economic as compared to other training institutions.

The trainer Michael was a down to earth trainer a and a good communicator , I felt welcomed as Michael took the time to introduce himself and the expectations of the course training and what it would take to receive our certificate FIRST AID & CPR. I especially like when Micheal shared a little about himself as a first aider and his qualification as a trainer but also got the group to all introduce themselves, their roles and reasons for attending the FIRST AID & CPR training. Another good value learning was when Micheal explained what it would be like when applying FIRST AID or CPR in a real life emergency situations throughout the training this for me kept my training experience very real even when going through the first aid manual, for example it’s not like we will be carrying a first aid kit with us so what can we do to apply first aid?And examples were given. I felt all First Aid & CPR examples throughout the training were applied a taught in a professional way but keeping it real and relevant as he explained clearly highlighting the duty of care and responsibilities of a FIRST AIDERS and the risks involved . By the end of my FIRST AID & CPR training I felt more confident to apply FIRST AID AND CPR to an individual if need be until the ambulance arrives . I have I just want to say Karen made the first aid session very enjoyable. The session was informative, interactive and enjoyable. She keeps it real. Ive done this course each year as part of my work requirement but I still ended up learning new information and have never been more confident in my skills. Thank you Karen. You rock!

Can first aid be educational but also fun? Yes it can if you have Karen as your trainer. Great energy & enthusiasm with lots of laughs. Took away some important real life scenarios and feel my knowledge has deepened. Karen keeps it real - she was fantastic, hope I get her for my next refresher course.

I have attended many courses over my years but I’d have to say this course was by far the best. Mimi the trainer was professional knowledgeable and just amazing in her delivery of content. I’m a registered nurse and have advanced life support skills and still found the content up to date and interesting to engage in. I highly recommend this course and Want to praise Mimi for her skills and passion to deliver this content
