The national park is huge and spread across many acres of land, the morning Safari is the best time slot to choose. I was blessed to witness so many animals there especially tiger. I went for afternoon Safari and it was a mind blowing experience. The guide was good, he was professional, kind and well educated. My overall experience was good, it's better to book your tickets in advance and go for multiple jungle safari.

One of the best National Park of India, located in the heart of India (M.P) it's very well maintained good to see government and forest department are doing their job. M.P has got highest number of tigers out of which majority are here although we were not lucky after 2 safaris 🙄 but there are regular tiger sightseeing if you are planning to visit this tiger reserve don't think twice even if you don't get to see tiger you can literally enjoy the dense flaura and fauna of the Satpura range, also kanha has many beautiful properties ranging from cottages to jungle resorts to five star hill properties. Things to note before you plan to visit: - Get the forest entry ticket first before making any bookings. - You can book the passes from mp.forest.online site. - Than from the respective gates you can book gypsy and guide. - Main gate is Kanha and Kisli.l you can also try Sathi gate rest are buffer zones. - there are also night Safari which is equally adventurous.

If you love nature, Kānha National Park is the place to be. You get see wildlife beyond tigers. Our first sighting were a Leopard mother and it’s 2 cubs. Followed by wild dogs, jackal, vultures, Gaur, Barah Singha Deer, Peacocks and ofcourse the Tigers. We did 3 safaris and were luck to spot all the above. One of the closest so far we could get to a tigress “Mohini” and the sighting was astonishing. What a beauty this tigress was… I still can’t get over that sight of hers. Kanha National Park is huge so be patient because there’s too much of land to cover for a sight. Must go the list…😊

This is one the best National Parks in India. It has a variety of terrains like thick forests, grass lands, hills, water bodies throughout the park. One of the best national parks in India to spot tigers. The most majestic of all animals. The best part is to see them from an open jeep, if you are lucky, only a few metres away. You will also find sloth bears, leapords, hundreds of deers merely jumping around you, monitor lizzards, gaur, bengal fox, jackals, wild dogs and many more animals. It is also an amazing place for bird watching. Stay at one of the resorts in Kanha for 3 days and make sure you at least do 3 safaris. You will fall in love with the forest and the tigers.

What an absolutely phenomenal experience! I got to experience the incredible flora and fauna of Central India here in Kanha. It was an experience like no other. India truly is a divine and gifted land. The towering sal trees, the racket-tailed drongos, the Indian Rollers, the Samba Deer, the leopards and the tigers.... Amazing. If you want to see a tiger here, it's not going to be easy. You're going to have to be patient, listen for calls track the tigers through their territories and their favourite spots. Ultimately you're going to have to accept that once you're in the forest, you move to the whims and fancies of the forest and not the other way around. Submit yourself to the beauty and magnificence of the forest and soak in the nature. Coming from a city like Bangalore, the first hour of the safari itself felt rejuvenating. I also learned a considerable amount about Indian forests and how important it is to conserve them. We as Indians very often forget and take for granted the effects of our expansion and how our lifestyles often drive these incredible animals out of their homes and adversely affect their surroundings, their lives... It's extremely important to be in touch with nature and understand it's importance to us. Incredible place all round.

One of the best national parks in India. There are multiple entry gates in the core and the buffer zone and one needs to book the safari in advance as they sell out much in advance especially the core zone. The guides and the drivers try very hard to show the major animals although the sighting is not guaranteed. Even if you don’t end up seeing a tiger or a leopard the atmosphere itself makes the place a must visit. Go there if you are into Parks and Nature

Its not a great a place if you visit on off seasons because you’ll rarely see any tigers but you’re gonna enjoy well if you’ll visit in the right time which is April to June.Booking process might look over messed but people will help you out for gypsy(jeep) safari. You’ll get all resorts there and those are fantastic best food is ‘club Mahindra’ restaurant inside its campus.

Kanha National park is one of the best park with dance forest and full of tigers and many animals are waiting for you. Many resorts and hotels are available here for your comfortable stay. Two safaris are in a day, one is in the early morning and second is in the evening at 3 pm. Kanha jungle is very dance and very beautiful, the home of tigers, deers, bears, dhol, neelgaay, peacock, cheetal, barking deers, elephant, monkeys, types of birds, gaur ,jackals, butterflies, snakes, barahasinga, langoor, hyena, leopards, sambhar, sloth bear, wild boar, small Indian civets,Indian wolf, flying squirrel, ratel,Indian porcupine,Indian hare,Indian pangolin, wild dogs ect. The Kanha National Park was originally a part of the Gondwanas or the “land of the Gonds”. The forest of the Kanha Tiger Reserve was inhibited by two indigenous tribes of Central India, the Gonds and the Baigas. The vicinity of the reserve is still occupied with the villagers of these tribes. Located in Mandla and Balaghat districts, the Kanha Tiger Reserve is being occupied by two major sanctuaries, the Hallon and the Banjar Sanctuaries. Respectively covering the area of 250 sq km and 300 sq km, the Kanha Reserve together forms a greater area of 1,949 sq km. Kanha national park has the alluring features to captivate many visitors around the corners out of which the variety of wild lives make the whole environment more blissful . The tropical central highlands of this arena make a perfect habitat for the splendours of wild animals. Best way to observe wildlife dance and lush green forest of kanha national park open jeep with group of friends family individuals accompanied by an experienced naturalist are followed in to the park at fix timings during early morning and evening at 2.30 or 3 pm. The jeep has a fixed route and leave the park by the end of appointment time. Many popular wildlife expert and photographers have observed and photographed the largest cat family members of kanha national park by doing jeep safaris. This jeep is 6 seater open vehicle. In a day there is two safaris one is morning and second one is in the afternoon. Very awesome show in the jungle that deers are on the roads and tigers crossing the roads. Respect the wild animals and always maintain the safe distance from them . Remember you are in their home and they get the first priority. Keep your all senses open during park safaris for better wild life viewing and avoid loud conversations which can disturb the animals and can reduce the possibility of sighting the animals specially tiger. Keep the park pollution free . While inside the park put your none-biodegradable litter (can, plastic and glass bottles, metal foils )in to the bag and dispose of it on your way out.Do not smoke in the park accidental fire can destroy the jungle in no time. This is our nature’s god gift. Enjoy the wild life without harming wild animals.

While the forest was absolutely gorgeous and we did spot some animals, I felt the ticketing system etc was not too organised. The souvenir shops could be done better too with lots of more interestint things + better ways to display them (than just piled up stock lying under dust 🙈). The brooches are must buys though if you visit the official souvenir shop. Also, there should be better clarity on which is the Buffer zone and which one is the Core zone (at the time of selling tickets). The Buffer Zone forest was also not so dense, though the Core Zone will surely leave you mesmerised as there is suspense at every turn (because of the forest being so dense and beautiful). Loved the gorgeous, tall Sal trees everywhere!

The place is a great tourist attraction and is extremely busy during the high seasons. You must plan and go if you are wanting to go and see the wild animals, flora and fauna and the cold climate. The animals have a specific timing to come out, so the safari needs to have a convenient time and the selected zone should be preferably core. Pls avoid going for a buffer zone safari. Also make sure you are occupied with the comfortable lodging rooms which are available nearby.
