The place is nice when its less crowded. I visited at two different times on 1st January and on any other day(rainy day) and i must say the rainy day was the best experience there. Lots of deer can be seen on silent days do visit on rainy days for soulful experience. less of food options are available there and be prepared for long walk so wear comfortable.

Deer is the main attraction in the forest. But the entry fee is too high 120 Indian rupees for a single person.

This wildlife sanctuary is specially for deers. There are one white peacock and some rabbits in cage also. We saw one baby macaw, it was sick then. We have seen a variety of trees, monkeys there. In the morning, around 9 am and in the afternoon around 3 pm food is given to deers. If you wanna see more deers then try at that time at the gate. If you are interested in birds-photography then it is a good place to visit. One can try boating on Ichhamati river by giving Rs 100/- for one and half hour. You can go to Mangalganj Nil Kuthi (Kata Saheber Kuthi) by crossing the river on boat. They take Rs. 40/- only. If you go by personal vehicle, motorcycle, then park it inside the park by booking tickets from the counter, you can put helmets in the room beside the ticket counter.

I always like nature in it's raw form. And I experienced the same here perfectly! It was raining when me and my friends visited the place. We walked around the sanctuary border. It was a very long walk almost 4 k.m but it was worth. Covered with utmost greenary and without any artificial touch! It's a 75-80 k.m driving from Kolkata. Follow Google map. Thursday is closed.

Don't recommend from my end. Wrost place to visit in this deer park. You can notice some deer in distance. Most wrost part is ticket price, ticket price is too much for this place. 1 person's ticket fare is 120 RS. which is not acceptable.Jungle is also not maintained properly. Parking charges is also very high, for bike it is RS 30.

One of my favourite place where I can feel my inner heart with the beauty of Nature,Forest we can lost ourselves in the British Era when we visit the Nilkuthi. You can enjoy all and a great boating on River Ichhamoti.

A place outside the city traffic to spend sometime with nature. Recommended for group picnics. Boating facility is there. Entry fee is 70/- per person. Reaching here is a bit tricky but you'll enjoy. There is a children's park inside as well. Fir cooking there is no electricity provided by the park authorities. So plan properly before arranging such events. Local people are good.

Nice ambience,full of greenery with a beautiful wild life conservation on bank of river icchamati but some awkward points also arrived I don't know why tourism deptt of West Bengal is now charging ₹120 per head for entering into, whether they are trying to abandon this spot as a place for tourist interest because there is no transport facility and route guidelines no eatey or they would not like to invite people to enjoy it's beauty. The place has its beauty of it's own along with river icchamati floating around alone.It needs only some Government support and attention. Interested forest loving people should hire a car to ply to Bangaon then take bagda road to kalambagan then take a left turn and ply for seven km. Arrangement of lunch can be provided from tripty hotel adjacent to the gate of the forest, fresh and clean arrangement palatable also.

Good place to visit with full of fauna. A lot of deers and different kinds of birds like Kingfisher, Heron, bulbul, rufous treepie, peacocks are found. The 2.97 kilometre pathway around the outer side of fenced jungle area are needed attention for cleaning. Toilet is not satisfactory. People are very friendly and cooperative.
