This Bar Mleczny is in a pedestrian zone in a touristic hotspot of Gdansk. It's always very busy, but the line moves fast. They have tables outside and plenty of room upstairs. I liked the interieur. What I didn't like were the overcooked pierogi. It was more like pierogi mash. No, thank you

This is self service canteen. Prices are fair, food mediocre but corresponding to the price. You can try local dishes. cakes I will mention separately as they were tasty

Did eat pork schnitzel with mashed potatos, unfourtently the schnitzel was not so crispy but tasted good antways.. and did have a meat stew that tasted really good, so good i did have another the next day! I can recommend this if u want good polish food for good prices!

Nice restaurant. The place is s very clean. You order and pick your food downstairs and then you go eat your food upstairs. I ordered beef soup which was very tasty. It was perfectly salty , usually the restaurants put a lot of salt which is too much but this restaurant put the best amount of salt. I recommend it

Nice milky bar, even if it is more for tourists than for locals. Food is nice and tasty, it’s a good occasion for trying original polish cuisine. However not the best milky bar I have ever tried. The good points are: quick, cheap and central position.

Can't get better breakfast for the price. Wholesome food! Although the music was way too loud and obnoxious, club hits in the morning is not the right vibe.

If you want to try homemade polish food, if you want to eat where locals eat than definitely go to this place. It is a buffet style place that closes at 6pm. Menu is not big but the food is just delicious. Everything was so tasty. We had pork steak, rolled beef with minced pickles and chicken meatballs. The dessert was also very good. So if you are hungry, craving for tasty local food for a nice price go to Bar Mleczny Stagiewna.

Amazing Diary diner. Excellent for any choce of food, from savoury to sweet, from breakfast to dinner. Plenty of choices from a wide range of traditional dishes. Prices are low and quality is high.

Great polish food! The choice is increadible. Had a potatoe pancake with pork, the serving size was huge and it tasted delicious. Altogether 2 soups, 2 mains, salad and drinks came to AU$26 which was very affordable. We were sitting inside and the interior was very clean, cute and cosy. Highly recommend 👌

Nice looking milk bar, big menu with traditional polish food. Bit hectic as it was so busy. Placed order pick up a tray then pay. If food not ready they will give you a buzzer and you go back to collect food when ready. Scrambled eggs with bacon and chicken hotdogs were delicious as well as a berry yoghurt smoothie. They had lots of options and something for everyone

This place was packed on the morning So you have to be prepared for little bit of chaos when you order the food Nice clean place with good food little bit pricey but it’s is in hart of old town of Gdańsk Definitely worth it to stop by

The food was very nice, but it is a shame that the girl at the till mis-priced my meal to almost double what it was worth. I got the impression that she did it on purpose and the intent is to create extra profit for the staff by overcharging tourists. Tourists - ask for a receipt and be mindful of what you owe/what you’re being charged!

Its really nice to find a restaurant with pure 100% Polish cuisine :) :) IT was tasted like on home. Empty plates proves that was geourgeus :)

Lovely traditional food, fresh and tasty, much cheaper than at restaurants in the old town. Cozy dining area upstairs. Very popular with locals and tourists, that's why is getting busy at times, and you need to be patient in a queue. But we still went there several times and tried different local meals. I would recommend the chain of Milk Bars to those travelling on a budget.

This is a brilliant little “Milk Bar”. Gorgeous tasty filling local hot food and great range of drinks....beers coffee soft drinks. What a lovely spot to eat and watch the world go by. It’s full of locals. It’s spotlessly clean bright welcoming decor. Excellent value. Super close to main Gdansk attractions. Great fast service.

Good variety of food and plenty of seating spaces available. The jams are very tasty too! A bit unfortunate as I didn't have a check baggage to bring them back home!

Great polish dishes and huge portions. Yummy. Authentic polish. However not a friendly service, not bad but just serious no smiles. Everything else makes up for this.

Delicious Polish food in a very warm and lovely setting. Nice atmosphere and I am looking forward to returning. Loved being able to eat here and experience a bit of Polish culture. I recommend the Polish cabbage stew

Pomidorowa zupa contained the cheapest pasta possible that ruined all the taste. Pierogi ruskie were peppered too much as if trying to conseal expiring ingedients, also they were too big with extremly wattery stuffing with. Staff didn't wear any masks and was breathing on not covered meals in front of them. Naleśniki z twarogiem was fine.

Great soup. Highly recommended. We bought some honey here from Kaszuby region and we do not regret it! So happy with the Polish barszcz and with the other dishes that they serve here.

The two stars are for the food, which looked good, being traditional and well-prepared. It was the personell service that earns zero stars - as tourists we asked if certain dishes were available, as we did not understand polish. One lady said she spoke english, but then continued to say "Not today" and showed a sign with polish writing as we could understand. There were not that many customers, so the mere fact that explaining a little bit for us was a tid bit odd. Foodwise it is a good place, if you can get a decent person to talk to in English. Shame, as this was a place we were looking forward to eating at.

Tasty food in centre of old town- Gdansk. It's a shame they don't open at 8am but 9am but still great option and food selection for reasonable price. It's clean and pretty place with seats outside and inside.

Rating should be closer to 5 stars. Lovely atmosphere/outside seating area on a pedestrian street, low prices, everything we ate was great. They also sell beer, which is really special for a milk bar...
