Today,
I
decided
to
have
my
weekly
English
meetup
at
Taverna
Zante.
There
were
7
of
us.
We
ordered
food
and
drinks
and
hung
out
for
a
while.
Much
fun
was
had
by
all.
The
food
was
ok,
though
certainly
nothing
to
write
home
about.
This
review
is
about
the
service.
Or
lack
thereof,
in
this
case.
When
it
came
time
to
pay,
things
got
weird.
First,
one
person
tried
to
pay
a
45zl
bill
with
a
100zl
note
and
was
told
that
they
didn't
have
change.
So,
she
had
to
come
back
to
the
table
to
see
if
any
of
us
had
change.
Luckily,
we
did.
That's
silly,
but
not
a
deal
breaker.
When
the
rest
of
us
tried
to
pay,
we
were
told
that
they
could
not
split
the
bill
up
by
person
so
that
we
could
pay
individually.
Mind
you,
we
had
all
ordered
separate
dishes;
we
weren't
asking
to
split
the
price
of
single
items.
After
a
short
discussion
about
how
that
made
no
sense
whatsoever,
so
we
questioned
it.
That's
when
the
waitress
clarified
by
telling
us
that
she
COULD
indeed
split
it
up
by
person,
but
that
she
--
and
I
quote
--
"didn't
have
time
for
that".
Wow.
After
employing
some
dark
magic,
she
did
allow
us
to
pay
for
our
own
meals
using
our
cards,
instead
of
making
us
all
walk
to
the
nearest
ATM
to
get
cash
for
which
they
would
not
have
change.
However,
the
damage
was
done.
Needless
to
say,
I
will
never
go
back
there.
The
bottom
line:
If
you're
looking
for
half-way
decent
Greek
food
with
a
side
of
being
intentionally
inconvenienced
and
getting
told
to
your
face
that
you
and
your
friends
do
not
matter
for
dessert,
this
is
the
place
for
you.
Good
luck.
