Tickets are not cheap (normal: 32 PLN), but a variety of species from all over the world (from the Baltic to exotic seas), is really worth to see. Fauna and flora presented in the Aquarium are accompanied by interesting descriptions provided in both Polish and English. Apart from educational aspect of the exhibitions, it is a unique opportunity to contemplate the sophistication of the nature and its amazing adaptation ability.

Disappointed, a small aquarium in more ways than one, a lot of the tanks were too small for the fish, rooms are rather clostraphobic with no where to take good photos, way too many people with no pandemic precautions in place. A lot of information within the aquarium but most of it in Polish with no English translations. Not an enjoyable place to visit in Gdynia, luckily there is plenty of other stuff to see in this beautiful city.

Nice aquarium, a lot of different kinds of fish and sea animals. But don't expect to spend a whole day here. After an hour you have seen everything.

Interesting to see different species ( not only from Baltic see) of fishes in tanks, but most of the exibits are not alive. Some exibits are really low quality or even broken. It takes not more than 1 hour to go through, for kids it is intersting though.

It's a shame that this aquarium is so badly managed. It's basically in a lighthouse configuration, you have to go to the top of the building and worked down floor by floor, most rooms are circular in nature and they fill up so fast that it's impossible to see things unless you walk in a very slow moving queue. There's no staff on site through the building that we saw so people were just pushing and shoving each other with no one to regulate them. Many of the tanks are too small for the creatures inside, especially the lobsters and most of the interactive educational things for children are broken or missing. The viewpoint outside on the balcony cost 2zł and didn't work. It was interesting to note that we saw no staff all the way around the aquarium yet we got to the gift shop and there were at least 4 staff constantly hard selling toys to kids and interrupting your browsing to show you various products. It really did make it feel that the owners are pocketing the profits and not doing anything to improve the museum or the welfare of the animals at all.

Obviously, kids will love this place, but adults will, too. Lots of amazing marine life with good descriptions in Polish and English.

It was alright we paid 110zt for a family ticket, 2 adults and two kids. It's a small aquarium, and as such the animals didn't have much space to move around. I felt sorry for most of the animals living in such small tanks. There is information in English for the living exibits, but all other information is only in Polish. Be warned that you have to pay for parking everyday of the week, from 8am to 8pm. Parking on Sundays is not free.

I would say it's a very nice place to visit especially with children.They have lot of species of fish and various other aquatic animals and reptiles. They also provide audio tour which u can opt for if you really want to go deep in the history of any fish. Although there are some options missing.

Good aquarium with lots of different kind of fishes. You need to buy a 25 pln ticket to enter and then 2pln for a audio guide(ipod) which explains about all creatures exhibited in the aquarium. Wonderful place to see different kind of fishes. Its restricted to take pictures with flash. Wonderful view from the top of the building.

As a lover of the marine life and tank enthusiast I was both sad and annoyed about this place. Renovation is in order or complete close down. The tanks are dirty and ther are to little space for the animals to hide and be alone. Dont wast your money on this aquarium. You will be disappointed.

Incredibly rich collection of water creatures of all sizes and colours, all described and shown on info boards right next to the aquariums. We chose a poor day to visit the aquarium; it was Saturday and it was raining, so there was a lot of visitors like us. Way too many in my opinion. And I saw no staff around to guide the flow of visitors, except at the entrance and at the gift shop. Furthermore, although I'm not an animal-welfare-expert, I'm sceptical about the conditions some of the fish lived in. In several tanks it seems there were either too many fish or too large fish for that particular tank. One thing that I liked about our visit is that there were sufficient information in English (in most floors, except the top floor which had only information in Polish). They also had good amount of fish, in terms of different species. All in all I had much higher expectations of this visit, but it wasn't the worst experience I've had, and I did learn a few new things about fish.

My friend and I came here on a Wednesday approx 11am. There was a line up which we expected however only 1 Kasa was open, while there were several families, disabled and school groups waiting in line. Both lanes should have been open for faster service, not to mention it was also raining. Upon entrance there is a stroller section where you can leave your stroller, I would not recommend taking the stroller to any viewing area as they are small and packed with other people. The viewing areas are small, dark, and not as displayed in the google pictures. The website states 70 minutes to complete, max 15 minutes as a slow pace. I would not recommend this aquarium based on the cost. If this was a free attraction I would say it's worth the 15 minute tour, however to pay, it's just not worth the price. Staff was very kind, helpful and friendly.

10am Sunday, got very busy and crowded. Nice exhibition, but very small rooms and too heavy air to breathe. Nice walk around the port, beautiful views and many ships to see.

Very looked after and interesting. Fish in great condition. Brilliant education.

Insgesamt recht interessant. Leider viele nur in polnisch, ganz selten auch auf deutsch erklärt. Ich bin der Meinung in der heutigen Zeit sollte dann alles 3 sprachig sein da auch genug Platz wäre??!

Wir waren 2016 schon mal in diesem Aquarium und hatten eigentlich gehofft, dass es etwas erneuert wurde. Die Baustelle vor der Tür ließ uns das eigentlich hoffen. Aber nein, es wurde nichts geändert. Die Aquarien sind immernoch unheimlich klein. Ich kann mir nicht vorstellen, dass es in Polen tatsächlich noch erlaubt ist, Tiere auf so engem Raum zu halten. Was man dem Aquarium aber trotzdem positiv anerkennen muss, ist, dass es die Besucher auf wichtige Dinge wie Umweltschutz, Schutz der Ostsee hinweist und auch mit der angeschlossenen Universität zusammenarbeitet, Schüler der Region unterrichtet.

Voll - voller - das Aquarium. Eine irre lange Schlange zum rein kommen, drinnen wenig auf mehreren sprachen und irre laut. Es war ein schieben und drücken. Schlecht ausgeschildert wohin man soll oder wie die Route ist und ich fand es ein wenig schmuddelig. Das die Becken zu klein sind, kann man meinen, aber wenn man tauchen geht, stellt man fest, das die Tiere in Freier Natur, meist immer den gleichen Standort haben. Natürlich wären sie in freier Natur besser aufgehoben. 95 ztl für 2 erwachsene und ein Kind

Feels smaller and way different than the pictures which was a little disappointing. The fish tanks looked kinda small but the fish seem well taken care of. I saw a lot of interesting species (including axolotls) but also you can see a very massive anaconda snake in one of the tanks. Recommended for people who are both interested in the educational and recreational part.

Small aquarium and the entry ticket price reflect that. No live events or hand in experiences like in many European aquariums. A couple of sections are interesting but if you have been to big aquariums you will be disappointed. Only 3 starts because most info are inky in polish, no sign of English except for the fish tanks. Can be very crowded, no windows, becomes hot in summer, just be mindful of that. Visiting during the week should help.

Really nice aquarium but I wonder if the sealife here has enough space. It sometimes seemed like they had very limited range of motion, especially some of the bigger fish. Other then that it's a nice educational place, and I really liked reading about all the different sealife they have here.

It's a nice place and it has some very cool water dwellers to see. There is a variety of fish, axalotls (and who doesn't love those guys!), and even a huge snapping turle. Apart from the live specimens, there are educational exhibitions presenting different kinds of sea creatures with skeletal remains and models. The aquarium is pleasant but quite a bit smaller in scale than it seems by descriptions and photos on their site. Some of the tanks seem quite small, I wonder if their occupants are happy with their living space. We still spent there 2.5 hours and did not regret coming. I would recommend it to any sea lover :)

Nice place for visit with kid. A part is under renovation now. Though, still a lot to see and learn. For kid of 10 it was interesting.
