This exhibition is quite basic and does not show nor explain more than child can read in the children's encyclopedia. Besides the exhibition itself, on the geographical map, I was disappointed to see Crimea excluded from Ukraine. This is sad to me because I think that, the science center suppose to care about objective truth and facts.

Very memorable museum - it was interesting to walk from one exhibition to the next. It was a great place to spend 3 hours with kids. There was a nice gift shop and also you get a small discount in the restaurant if you have your museum tickets.

Nice place to visit, very similar to "Copernicus Science Centre" in Warsaw. Some expositions didn't work though. Also, what disappointed me the most, was the absence of Crimea region on the map of Ukraine. Russia invaded Ukraine and occupied this region in 2014. Ukraine fights against the much greater forces, protecting Europe from destruction and bloodshed that russians always bring with them. It was so terrible to see that this place of science supports russia's annexation of the Ukrainian lands.

Great interactive and educational stuff for children. It is recommended for children older than 3 years, but even 1.5 years old will have lots of fun. Be aware that "Energy exhibition" is 5 minutes walk distance from parking lot. Parking costed like 10 PLN for hour and half. Dogs are not allowed inside buildings, but are allowed on outside premises. After activities you can eat at a restaraurant next to the parking lot. Restarant cooks quality modern and tasty food. I can highly recommend visiting this site

We spend a fun filled, creative afternoon here. Beautiful buildings and surrounding. You will forget you are in the center of the city! Couple of negatives. From the bottom car park the signpost is a bit misleading. You need to take the road up with no buses sign and single traffic light. If you visiting with small children make sure that you stock up on essential. As there is no cafe on site. There are some vending machines so you will survive. We have been there for 3.5h and still did not explore the whole area. But what we seen we liked. Good value for money. For the family of 5 we paid 45zl.

Nice place, like an open-air museum. But it's too bad that we didn't understand anything. All the info boards, sound presentations, all in only in Polish.

Good to spend some 2-3 hours. There are also small caves into the hill full of historical information.Good view over the city from the area next to the monument We went there in the start of the week and seems there were not many people.Other additional activities-book only if you know Polish.Nevertheless, they tried their best with us speaking English,as well.It might be confusing to find it out, since it's behind a small park,so either use Google maps,or ask locals. We did both. Also recommend the atmospherical cafe next to it.

(Translated by Google) great location for history enthusiasts, great for an educational trip. very interesting props and interactive exhibitions. minus is the option of sightseeing only in Polish so foreign tourists may feel disappointed (Original) świetna lokalizacja dla pasjonatów historii, rewelacyjnie nadaje się na wycieczkę edukacyjną. bardzo ciekawe rekwizyty i interaktywne wystawy. minus to możliwość zwiedzania wyłącznie w j. polskim więc zagraniczni turyści mogą czuć się zawiedzeni

Really disappointing. There were nearly no tickets in the ticket office, whole families were leaving the place emptyhanded. The only exhibition i was able to get into was 1,5h away. There's nowhere to spend time with kids during that time, free exhibition was a joke (8 posters with photos of galaxies and planets, took us 15 minutes). We wanted to try the restaurant but it was closed and only place to get snacks was vending machine. Finally exhibition we got into was a huge letdown. Mostly 'view video' or some other basic stuff like pressing one button to see an animation. Waste of time and money. From the positive things there's a parking lot really close (payed) and tickets were cheap. Don't recommend.

(Translated by Google) This modern science center located within the former military fort encourages visitors to visit its numerous interactive and permanent exhibitions. From the hill you can admire the beautiful panorama of Gdansk. I recommend to everyone. (Original) Te nowoczesne centrum nauki usytuowane na terenie dawnego, militarnej fortu zachęca do odwiedzenia swoimi licznymi interaktywnymi i stałymi wystawami. Ze wzgórza można podziwiać piękną panoramę Gdańska. Polecam każdemu.

(Translated by Google) A museum as well as an interesting, educational place, fortified nearby with numerous historic buildings on Góra Gradowa can be said in the center of Gdańsk. They are called "forts" by the inhabitants of Gdańsk. A museum that shows a piece of history in a truly wonderful and modern way, as well as the rest of the buildings around. The area is eagerly visited by Gdańsk residents, tourists and excursions, including school trips. Time here quickly and nicely "flows", providing not only knowledge but also various attractions because it is an "educational and recreational center with a" variety "complex. Polecam !

Absolutely loved it! We visited with 7 year old, and he loved it, it was fun and interesting for both kids and adults. Its also just behind the train station so it super close to town. I think it was cheap for the experience you get. Love it.

Pretty small compared to the science museum (Copernicus) in Warsaw. We were done in 2 hours. If you have been to similar museums before and you have limited time in Gdańsk , I do not think it is worth visiting.

Byłoby zdecydowanie lepiej, gdyby ktokolwiek z obsługi był zainteresowany gośćmi wystaw. Mało intuicyjna nawigacja po terenie i nikogo do pomocy. Samo miejsce piękne. Historia i widoki nadrabiają za trochę stare i mało ciekawe wystawy.

Można przejść wirtualnie cały proces załadowania armaty bądź moździerza. Bardzo czasochłonny proces.

(Translated by Google) A great place on the map of Gdańsk. A sensational 2-hour fun for children, even those 4 years old. We were in the week of 10, there were practically no people. (Translated by Google) Hevelianum is sensational! Three exhibitions engage children and adults for long hours. A lot of experiments, and at the same time a large dose of knowledge to acquire on your own. Well-kept exhibits. Great variety. Many of the exhibits are interactive, which is a lot of fun. A car with driving simulation in various, difficult conditions was our hit! (Original) Hevelianum jest rewelacyjne! Trzy wystawy angażują dzieci i dorosłych na dłuuuugie godziny. Dużo eksperymentów, a przy okazji spora dawka wiedzy do samodzielnego zdobycia. Zadbane eksponaty.

(Translated by Google) We recommend a trip with kids. Lots of fun facts to twist, touch, run and move. We spent 2 hours sneaking through 3 thematic exhibitions. Two pieces of information: I suggest ordering the tickets in advance, either on-line or in person the day before. Usually, it turns out that there is no more entry for a given hour and you have to wait 4 hours .. parking paid only by card, it is worth bearing in mind. Exit from exhibitions should be marked and it is NOT. We walked around a lot of terrain before we accidentally (!) Hit the right direction. It would be worth putting up a few signs ... the restaurant next door is delicious. Prices a bit higher but acceptable. Overall it's worth it! (Original) Polecamy na wycieczkę z dzieciakami. Mnóstwo ciekawostek do pokręcenia, dotknięcia, uruchomienia i poruszania. Spędziliśmy 2godziny przemykając po 3 wystawach tematycznych. Dwie informacje: sugeruje zamowic wcześniej bilety albo on line albo dzien wcześniej osobiście. Obchodziliśmy sporo terenu zanim przypadkiem (!) trafiliśmy we właściwym kierunku. Warto byłoby wreszcie postawić te kilka tabliczek.. restauracja obok pyszna. Ceny ciut wyższe ale do przyjęcia. Ogólnie warto!

Excellent education center, few tracks are available. There arecalso seasonal tracks as well as permanent ones. One track about history of the place is for free.

Place good for a single visit. Almost no changes since I have visited it couple years back. Noticable amount of items out of order. Ultra unfriendly parking lot - you can't pay for it with card, and closets ATM is 20-30 minutes down/up-hill walk with stairs (good luck with children/stroller). That time ATM was only providing 100 PLN bills, so parking machine have returned me kilogram of coins as a change (minus one extra hour that I paid for a time of looking for ATM)
