You can cycle there no problem. Just have to pay attention where to turn as it's not very well signposted until you get very close to it. You can get water tram but be aware that when it's full it will not take you on board. Overall great experience worth seeing. Especially on a lovely sunny day like today. I think you can catch buses from Gdansk no problem. Bus stop is 5min walk from the fortress. But they are not very frequent so check times before travel. Really good place to visit. Loads of history.

Didn't had an opportunity (so far) to visit this place as regular museum. However, as event venue (Wisłoujście festival), it deserves 5 out of 5 rating. Looking forward to visiting this place again in the future :)

Great tour, but only in Polish. The guide has big historical knowledge of the area and Gdańsk. For more tips: @kasiawhotravels

Bit run down a needs a reno. The tour guide was great and the place itself is a gem. Beware it's not that easy to locate.

Nice and historical place. At first impression you expect it to be bigger, but than you discover that it's not so. The very bad thing is that you are forced to buy the ticket with guide, which is only available in polish. Hence people who don't speak polish must anyway pay the guide and go around with it with no freedom.

Certainly a place for the fortifications lovers. Would also recommend to anyone who like mysterious, half-abandoned places - especially by a foggy weather.

It was closed when we went there on 28.04.2018. From the outside you can still see a bit of this building but there are NO information outside. I think it opens in May, who knows....
