Bruuh, you can see a lot from one of the highest places in gdansk to visit. Obviously you can see the top of 1 of 3 largest church's in the world! I find this place best to visit in the morning (during the sunset 🌅) or just the beginning of the night time, so it is possible to see all the city lights and a very nice contrast. Also, near the tower there is a long path to see the bunkers built from the time of war around 90 years.. It is an amazing structures to see and Note : you better don't go through the hills and use the ways built for people if you don't want to end up with a fine ;)) Just down the hill opposite side to city centre, you have a nice park with historical monument!!

Cool free museum and history about here. But most of them doesn't have English so maybe have to use Google translate or know the Polish Language. :)

"Góra Gradowa" in Gdansk is a true gem that offers a blend of history, nature, and breathtaking panoramic views. This historical site is a must-visit when exploring Gdansk. Perched atop a hill, Góra Gradowa provides a glimpse into the city's rich past. The remnants of the old fortifications and bunkers serve as a reminder of its strategic importance throughout history. As you explore the area, you'll find informational plaques that provide insight into the fort's history, making it an educational experience for history enthusiasts. However, what truly makes Góra Gradowa stand out is the spectacular view it offers. Once you reach the summit, you'll be rewarded with a stunning panoramic vista of Gdansk and its surroundings. Whether you visit during the day or at night, the view is equally mesmerizing, making it an ideal spot for photos and a peaceful moment of reflection. The hill is also a great place for a leisurely stroll or a picnic, thanks to its well-maintained green spaces. It's an excellent spot to unwind and appreciate the tranquility amidst the city's hustle and bustle. In summary, Góra Gradowa is a historical site with a view that will leave you in awe. It's a perfect blend of history, nature, and relaxation, making it a worthwhile destination for anyone visiting Gdansk.

An enchanting spot in Gdansk! I find myself frequenting a place called Gradova Hill, and it never fails to captivate me. This gem is perched atop a hill that rises above the city, offering a breathtaking panoramic view. From this vantage point, the sight of the old shipyard and the historic town is nothing short of spectacular. The lush green surroundings create a serene escape far from the tourist crowds, making it a cherished sanctuary. Gradova Hill holds significant historical value. Once a strategic military stronghold, it stood as a defense point for the city. Today, it has transformed into a museum that showcases the rich history of the region. The site's evolution from a military bastion to an informative museum is a testament to its importance. The experience at Gradova Hill is enhanced by its suitability for families. If you have children, they would absolutely love exploring this place. The intriguing exhibits and the chance to learn about history in a hands-on manner make it an educational yet fun destination for young minds. For me, one of the highlights is visiting this spot at night. The cityscape illuminated by the twinkling lights offers an entirely different perspective, making it a splendid nocturnal adventure. Whether it's a quiet reflection or a romantic escapade, the view is nothing short of mesmerizing. Parking is conveniently available both at the base and at the summit. If you're feeling adventurous, the ascent is well worth the effort. However, if you prefer convenience, there's parking at the top too, though it comes at a nominal fee of around 4 zlotys per hour. In summary, Gradova Hill is a place of wonder. Its historical significance, awe-inspiring vistas, and family-friendly attractions make it a must-visit spot in Gdansk. So, whether you're seeking a glimpse into the past, a family outing, or a breathtaking view, this place offers it all.

In addition to being a scenic location, it is also full of history. Too bad it's all in Polish ... For those who unlike us who were accompanied by some local friends it is difficult to understand the history of the place
